Otherwise, she wouldn't dare to let anyone decide her future so casually.
"Do we really have to do this?"
In the darkness, Glenn Hutchinson furrowed his brows tightly.
"Yes." Flossie Wright answered very calmly.
There was a brief silence.
Finally, Glenn Hutchinson asked heavily, "Why?"
"It's been a long time since there's been a real combat."
Slightly turning her head, Flossie Wright answered nonchalantly while looking outside.
The streetlights emitted faint light, vaguely illuminating the rugged mountain road. The scenery along the way flashed by quickly, but aside from the nearby grass and trees, there was nothing but darkness in her eyes.
Flossie Wright rolled down the car window.
"I want the truth," Glenn Hutchinson's tone was a bit lower.
The wind blew through, scattering his words.
"Without evidence, you can't take action."
Flossie Wright looked distantly out the window, her voice cool yet calm, carrying a kind of unbelievable composure.
