"Okay." Tommy Taylor took the photo, "Where are you going?"
"Home. If there's nothing important, don't call me."
He'd been busy these past few days, leaving early and returning late. By the time he got home, his little wife was already asleep. Today, he finally had some time, and he wanted to go home early to spend it with Vera Wave.
As he reached the door, he stopped again.
"By the way, find some time to go to the prison and ask Anabel Wilton if she knows any background on Irene Spencer. Also, call Captain Liu and see if there's been any progress on the case."
They still hadn't found any background information on Irene Spencer, and Kris Cooper certainly wasn't about to give up. It was just that he'd been too busy these past few days to investigate personally, so he instructed Tommy Taylor to look into it.
Two weeks would pass quickly. If no clues were found by then, Irene Spencer would have to be released, and that was a situation he didn't want to see.
