Robert Taylor took the form and turned to sit down, preparing to sign it for her.
"Hold on!" Vera Wave reached out and pressed down on the check. "I remember Manager Taylor saying yesterday that if I brought a million, you would have to kneel to fill out the form for me. Now that I've brought one hundred million, how exactly are you planning to fill it out?!"
Robert Taylor inwardly gritted his teeth but dared not let his anger show. It was a one hundred million dollar deal; if he lost it, the branch manager would undoubtedly fly into a rage.
"Miss Wave, what happened yesterday was my fault. Your account... I... I'll go over it carefully again for you. How about that... is that okay?"
Vera Wave opened her book and slipped the check between its pages. "Since Manager Taylor is unwilling to be my wealth manager, I might as well take my business to another bank." As she spoke, she opened her bag, about to put the book inside.
