A moment later, Cameron Wilton appeared in the lobby, followed by his Secretary.
"Manager Wilton!"
Having met him twice before, Miss Vera recognized him and immediately greeted him with a smile.
Manager Wilton did not remember her well, but he knew she was an important client and feigned recognition.
"Miss Vera, it's been a long time!"
Vera shook hands with him. "I'm sorry for troubling you to come in person."
"Not at all! We're in the service industry, after all. Providing the best service to our clients is precisely our job," Manager Wilton responded with a very courteous smile. "Miss Vera, may I invite you to the VIP Hall for a chat?"
"No need." Vera stood her ground. "Your bank has a manager named Robert Taylor. Could I request him to be my wealth manager?"
"Of course." Manager Wilton's smile was extremely gentle, as if the lady before him were his own daughter. "Given the large amount on your check, we need to verify it. That is acceptable, right?"
