Nia Mitchell was led forward by Maxwell Peary, continuously looking back at Robert Perez, who remained kneeling in place.
"Uncle, what on earth is going on?"
Nia blinked, rather surprised. Although she was somewhat indignant about the incident today, she now looked at Robert Perez kneeling there. For some reason, she suddenly felt sorry for the man.
"It's nothing; you don't need to worry about it."
Maxwell Peary furrowed his brow and strode forward. He was considering whether he should assign Nia a personal bodyguard. Only then could he be at ease.
"Nia, how did you encounter Robert Perez?"
Maxwell Peary suddenly thought of a problem. If this encounter was intentional, the measures he would take wouldn't be so simple.
"I was standing there waiting for you when he just happened to pass by."
Seeing Robert Perez in such a dejected state, she didn't recognize him for a moment.
"Uncle, why did he end up like that?"
