Upon entering the supermarket, Nia Mitchell immediately called Fiona Sutton.
"Well, look who remembered me."
Fiona had just gotten out of bed not long ago, sitting barefoot in her dormitory, eating instant noodles.
"I'm shopping at the supermarket. Want to come?"
Fiona smacked her lips, slurping down a large mouthful of noodles.
"Your snack addiction is acting up again, huh? I'm surprised you still have money to buy luxuries like snacks. Be honest, are you asking me to foot the bill?"
After finishing the last bite, Fiona shoved the instant noodle cup aside and wiped her mouth with a napkin.
Nia stuck her tongue out. Alright, she *had* indeed done that before. Fiona was clearly still wary after that incident.
"No, of course not. Besides, knowing your spendthrift habits, how much could you have possibly saved from your trip to the USA?"
Fiona turned to look at the instant noodle cup, tears welling in her eyes.
"Nia, I've just realized something incredibly tragic."
