Chapter Five
"You can smoke however you want, as long as you're not angry and can forgive me."
Kevin Gregory had a look of someone who's sworn to not fight back, as if as long as Aurelia Wood were willing to forgive him, he would be willing to climb mountains of knives or dive into seas of fire.
But Aurelia didn't want to forgive him so easily; he had deceived her for so long.
She deliberately put on a stern face, "I'm too lazy to hit you."
After speaking, she pushed aside his hand and strode downstairs.
"Nana?"
"Aurelia?"
Kevin Gregory called out a few times, seeing her really heading for the door, he quickly chased after her, but she still left.
With a bang, the door closed, and Kevin Gregory frowned with frustration, unable to resist muttering a curse.
It was hard enough to improve their relationship, only to mess it up himself!
If only he'd known, he wouldn't have played these tricks, he'd use his sincerity to move her.
