Kevin Gregory held her hand tightly, staring at her without blinking.
Aurelia, of course, knew what answer he wanted...
But right now, she hadn't sorted out her feelings yet.
She smiled, "I'll tell you when you're better."
"But that could take a long time."
"If you want to know sooner, then get better quickly."
"Then promise me, no matter what my mom says to you, don't leave me." Heaven knows how terrified he was of waking up to find her gone.
He could follow her anywhere...
But if she left without a word, where would he go to find her?
The world is so big, if they parted, it would be years before they met again, and that would drive him crazy.
Aurelia curved her lips, "I won't leave, don't worry."
She still had that bit of resistance.
What's more, he had done so many things for her, just because of a few scolding words, could she really just up and leave?
