Sofia Hamilton's heart was tight.
The words were said, but she understood better than anyone that there were no Ryan Gregory's people down there.
She had gone out by herself; no one knew she'd come here!
Regina Brown curved her lips into a smile, "Do you think I'm stupid? When I came here, I checked everywhere. Not a person, not even a bird is around! It's just you and me here!"
Sofia couldn't help but retreat a few steps upon hearing this.
The loose stones underfoot made her feel like she was about to fall, making her even more scared. She asked in a tense voice, "What do you want?"
"You know what fear is now? Haven't you always relied on Ryan Gregory to protect you? So what now? You're scared? Sofia, I'm telling you, I ended up like this all because of you!!"
Now, she's homeless, penniless, without status or property.
And at this time, Sofia possesses everything!
