Chapter Six
"I... I'm a bit confused right now." Sofia Hamilton looked at her, meeting those expectant eyes, feeling a softening in her heart, unable to refuse harshly.
She paused and said, "Give me some time, I need... to think it over."
With that, Sofia quickly left.
She rushed to her room, hoping to sleep, maybe this was all just a dream.
But...
She tossed and turned, unable to sleep.
Her mind was filled with Aaron Brown's face, replaying his words and actions, including every mocking and sarcastic remark she'd said to him.
It was only now that she realized how cruel she had been!
How could she have said such hurtful things?
For Aaron Brown, it must have been a blood-stained wound.
A sleepless night.
The next day, she left early.
Because she hadn't slept, her complexion wasn't good.
As she walked, she realized she was heading in the direction of the cemetery.
Since Aaron's accident, she had only been to his grave once.
