His expression was like a big boy feeling jealous! His smiling eyes slightly narrowed, fixed on her.
Sofia Hamilton was amused by his tone, "It's nothing, just a message from a friend."
"A friend?"
"Yeah."
She tried to smile so he wouldn't notice anything, but Lucy Greene's message really couldn't be shown to Ryan Gregory; if he saw it, he'd definitely know it was Lucy who took her to the night club yesterday.
Just her luck, what she feared was what came.
Ryan Gregory reached out and grabbed the phone, "Let me see."
"Hey!"
Her heart tightened, and she rushed forward to snatch it back.
But how could her hand compare to his long one? He raised his hand, and she missed, instead being caught by him with an arm around her waist. With a flip, he pinned her beneath him.
Sofia Hamilton was anxious, "Give me the phone."
"So nervous? Is there something I can't see?"
