Chapter Three
"You just need to follow me."
He held her hand and pulled her along.
But really, what's so intriguing about walking on a highway?
Where does he need to go?
Could it be that what he needs to do is simply walk?
Or perhaps his urgent matter is to walk back?
Granted, with the sunset, the scenery is quite nice, a perfect time for a leisurely stroll, but a date on the highway? That sounds too bizarre!
Sofia Hamilton was filled with curiosity and couldn't resist asking, "Ryan, where are we headed?"
He paused and looked at her, "Tired?"
"A bit."
Looking around at the no man's land, Sofia said, "Didn't you say you had something to handle? In this secluded place, what could you possibly deal with?"
Seeing her bewildered expression, Ryan Gregory helplessly smiled, "What I need to do is spend some time walking with you. If you feel tired, we can call for a car."
"Huh?"
She was taken aback, "This is what you needed to do?"
