If this could make her give up hope, could break her expectations of him, then it might be for the best.
At least, Aaron Brown feels he might have done one good thing in his life.
Lucy Greene gazed at the scattered fruit on the ground, feeling her pride and self-respect had been thrown away just like them. He would never need her, as if he said, she no longer held any value, nor deserved to be by his side.
Tears welled up in her eyes, yet she resisted them with all her might.
Aaron saw her still standing there and shouted angrily, "I told you to get out! Get out! Don't ever let me see you again!!"
The roar stunned her, shattering her heart even more.
In that instant, tears fell.
She felt like a pathetic clown.
Taking a deep breath, she wiped away her tears, "I understand, you're in a bad mood right now. We'll talk when you calm down."
With that, she turned and hurried away.
