Chapter 4
Aaron Brown was pulling Sofia Hamilton along, running incessantly upward, but they were reaching a point with no way out.
Sofia was panting heavily and shook off his hand, "This is a dead end up here."
"Going down is a dead end too."
"Aaron Brown, what on earth do you owe them?" Sofia frowned at him, increasingly feeling that the Aaron Brown she knew was just a facade.
How could he get involved with these people...
Aaron looked at her, "I don't have time to explain everything now, but Sofia, trust me, I won't let them hurt you, absolutely not."
"Do you think the two of us can still get out today? No one can escape." Sofia said urgently, indeed there was dead end up there; jumping down meant death, going down had people blocking the way.
And just as she finished speaking, Bear Three had already rushed up with his people.
Aaron quickly pulled her behind him, "Stand behind me, or find a place to hide."
