Chapter Five
As soon as the car started, Regina Brown anxiously tapped on the car window, "Ryan!!"
"Ryan! Stop! Stop!"
She ran along with the car, but how could she outrun a car on four wheels?
She watched helplessly as his car sped away, leaving only dust behind.
Regina's heart was full of sorrow, "Do you really not want to see me that much?"
Did he know how happy she was when she found out he wasn't dead?
She felt like she came back to life, filled with hope once again! During the days without him, she lived like a zombie, numbing herself with cigarettes.
But knowing he was alive, she decided she must quit and start over with him.
But why does he detest her so much?
Regina fell helplessly to the ground, feeling as if all her strength had been drained.
After all these years of fighting, what has she gained?
Tears silently fell as a self-mocking smile curved at the corner of her mouth.
Regina Brown, oh Regina Brown, how did you end up like this?
