Chapter 11: Sports Festival - Quarter Finals
There was a short break between when Shinso beat Asui and when the brackets for the next round were shown to give the students time to recover from the last match.
ROUND 1: Midoriya Izuku VS Todoroki Shoto
ROUND 2: Iida Tenya VS Shiozaki Ibara
ROUND 3: Uraraka Ochako VS Yaoyorozu Momo
ROUND 4: Kirishima Ejiro VS Shinso Hitoshi
Izuku got up from his seat and started walking towards his waiting room. Todoroki also left.
On the way there Izuku was stopped by Endeavor. Using analyse omn him Izuku confirmed his suspicion.

Endeavor said "You boy." Izuku stopped and the hero continued. "It is Shoto's duty to surpass All Might. That is the very reason he was born. He is my perfect creation. You are similar to All Might. Your strength is impressive so you will make Shoto use his fire and then he will beat you."
Izuku glared. "I am not All Might."
Endeavor said "That is obviou-"
Izuku cut him off. "That's obvious right? Todoroki is not you. The only reason I talked to you in the first place is to confirm what i already suspected. You only had Todoroki to make a strong quirk."
Endeavor smirked as he, believing himself to be legally untouchable, said "Of course. He exists to fulfil my desire. That is his duty and he will carry it out."
Izuku started walking away. "We're done here. I will save Todoroki from himself and his "Duty" that you have forced on him to cover up your own weakness."
Endeavor growled out "Watch your tongue boy. I am the number two hero and you will respect me."
Izuku didn't even turn around as he replied "I know exactly who you are."
Endeavor was burning with anger to the point his flames got more intense. It set the smoke alarm off so he forced himself to calm down. Little did he know that his "perfect creation" was not strong enough to win.
Izuku also forced himself to calm down as he was called out to the arena so he didn't do anything reckless.
Mic announced them both, without the stupid introductions this time(because Aizawa threatened him), and Midnight started tge match.
Izuku called out to Todoroki. "Your father talked to me before I got here." Todoroki glared and launched a large sheet of ice at Izuku.
Izuku melted it by using a flamethrower with OFA. "He's a jerk but you can't let him hold you back from your full potential."
Todoroki fired off more ice but Izuku destroyed it. "I am nothing like that bastard."
Izuku sighed. "I never said you were. But everyone here is giving it their all. You will never win with only half your power."
Todoroki screamed "I CAN AND I WILL!"
Izuku asked "Then what will you do when your ice isnt enough?" Izuku grew his wings and dodged the next ice attack. Due to combat regeneration his mana and stamina were still full. "Your ice can't hit me. Even if it does I will just heal. It isn't enough. I can fight all day but you can't. What will you do?"
Todoroki yelled in frustration as he made a glacier as big as the one he hit Sero with. Izuku charged up 25% of OFA and used his flamethrower spell. The massive stream of flames almost instantly melted the glacier and easily outclassed anything Endeavor had been seen doing.
Izuku landed. "Well? Todoroki you will never be a hero if you continue like this. So who do you want to be?"
Todoroki tried to launch more ice but he couldn't. He was too cold. "I will never be like him."
Izuku asked "Am I fighting you? Or am i fighting Endeavor? This is your ice. Your fire. Your power. Now I will ask again. Who do you want to be?"
Todoroki fell to his knees. Memories of his mother and him played through his mind. Tears flowed out of his eyes and fire burned on his left arm.
A memory of his mother said "It's ok to be who you want to be Shoto. He may have given you this power but it is yours to use how you want to.
Todoroki said "I want to be... A HERO!"
Endeavor shouted "YEEEEES! NOW YOU CAN PROPERLY TAKE ON MY LEGACY SHOTO!"
Mic sounded confused as he said "ENDEAVOR SUDDENLY OFFERS ENCOURAGEMENT? WHAT A DOTING FATHER!"
Izuku smiled as the flames grew bigger. Todoroki stood up and asked "Why are you smiling when you're about to lose?"
Izuku replied "I'm glad. Now i don't have to hold back anymore." Once again Izuku spread his wings and took to the air. "Now let's see who's stronger with both of us using our full power!"
Izuku flew towards the ground and used frost fist. Punching the ground sent a wave of ice towards Todoroki, who matched it with his own. Izuku then shot a stream of fire towards Todoroki who did the same. The cooled then superheated air caused an explosion. Both fighters landed on their feet at the edge of the arena.
Midnight contacted Cementoss. "This is to dangerous! Stop them!"
Todoroki made one last giand glacier that Izuku flew over while charging up 100% of OFA. As Izuku flew Midnight released her gas, Cementoss made cement barriers and Todoroki shot all his remaining flames at Izuku. Everything collided at once. The barriers and gas were destroyed by another explosion. As the dest settled the crowd saw Izuku standing in the center of the arena.
Todoroki was knocked out against the back wall that had a large crater in it. The crowd went wild and Endeavor was pissed.
Cementoss stood up and told Midnight "I know strength isn't everything, but these two are impressive."
Midnight agreed. "I know right. It's insane." She then stood up and announced Izuku as the winner but he wasn't in the arena anymore.
Mic called out "NOW THAT WAS ONE EXPLOSIVE FINISH! WHAT EVEN WAS THAT?"
Aizawa explained "The ice from both students cooled the air. Todoroki's fire heated the air so quickly it then expanded, leading to the explosion."
Mic said "THAT'S NUTS! HOW HOT DID THAT FIRE GET?"
He was standing over Todoroki, who had regained consciousness. "One hell of a fight huh?"
Todoroki nodded then groaned in pain. Izuku slung the other teen over his non broken shoulder and carried him to Recovery Girl's office.
The elderly nurse was not pleased. She smacked both of them with her cane and refused to heal Izuku's arm so he had to do it himself. Todoroki had to stay in the nurses office so Izuku headed back for the stands alone.
In his seat Endeavor was still angry. 'Shoto failed me.' He thought. 'He must be stronger to never fail me again.' Endeavor left the arena, in his eyes there was no reason to watch after his child's failure. 'But how can I do that?'
Suddenly he had an idea. 'If he is not strong enough, perhaps his children will be. And I know just who to set him up with.'
Getting in his limo he told the driver to drive and pulled up the sport's festival on the tv in it.
Izuku had just gotten back to his seat when Iida and Shiozaki stepped onto the arena. Ochako said "Great job in your fight."
Izuku replied "Thanks. Now let's see how Iida does in his."
Midnight started the match and Iida decided he wasn't going to waste any time. "RECIPRO BURST!" Blue flames came out of his engines just then and Iida shot forward and pushed Shiozaki over the boundary line.
Midnight said "IIDA TENYA WINS BY RING OUT!"
Mic announced "THAT WAS AN EASY VICTORY FOR THE BLUE HAIRED SPEEDSTER! GIVE IIDA TENYA A HAND FOLKS!"
Monama could be heard shouting about how 1A thought they were so much better than 1B just because nobody from 1B made it to the semifinals but everyone ignored him.
Yaoyorozu said "It is time to go Uraraka. Our match is next."
Ochako stood up and nodded. "Yep. Let's go. This is gonna be fun. We haven't actually fought much."
The two left and Ashido asked "So Midori, to do think will win? Uraraka or Yaomomo?"
Izuku thought for a minute then said "It's hard to tell. Uraraka is slightly faster and stronger than Yaoyorozu but Yaoyorozu is smarter and more skilled in direct combat. I would say it comes down to if Uraraka can get around Yaoyorozu's defence and keep the pressure on. If she can Uraraka wins. If not then Yaoyorozu."
Ashido could barely follow along but asked "How will their magic effect the battle?"
Izuku said "Not all that much. Uraraka is best with healing and wind elements. Healing takes alot of mana but wind takes very little. Yaoyorozu doesn't really specialize in any element and uses them all equally so even with her larger mana pool she can run out quickly if she isn't careful."
Jiro asked "What elements do you specialize in?"
Shinso said "I'm good with dark and water."
Kirishima said "Fire and earth."
Izuku said "I haven't used much more than fire in this tournament but lightning, ice and fire are my best."
Kaminari asked "Wait. Since you're good with lightning can you tell me why I short circuit so easily?"
Izuku used analyse on Kaminari.

Izuku said "I have a theory. Most emmiter quirks use mana. Raise your mana and you can use your quirk for longer. It short circuits you when you run out."
Kaminari asked "Isn't that a gamer's only thing?"
Izuku shook his head. "Nope. Bakugo has gotten more mana since the beginning of the tear and he can now use his quirk for much longer before he runs out of sweat."
Kaminari then asked "Ok. So how do I get more mana?"
Izuku snickered as he knew this was Kaminari's weak point. "You need to be smarter. Your INT and WIS stats are each about 14. That is super low. The average U.A first year has 17 in WIS and 20 in INT."
Ashido snickered as Kaminari groaned at the thought of studying. Izuku said "Why are you laughing Ashido? This goes for you too." The pink girl froze.
Before anyone could say anything else Mic called Ochako and Yaoyorozu to the arena.
As both girls walked to the arena Mic announced their arrival. "THIS NEXT MATCH IS BOUND TO BE EXCITING. BOTH OF THESE GIRLS ARE FULL OF TRICKS. MIDNIGHT GET THIS MATCH STARTED!"
Midnight asked "Fighters ready?" Getting two positive responses Midnight said "START!"
Ochako called out "No hard feeling, right Yaoyorozu?"
Yaoyorozu nodded. "Of course. But if you win I may have to tell the class about that little scene I walked in on a little while ago." She said this as she pulled her sword and sheild out of her inventory.
Ochako gasped. "You wouldn't dare!"
Up in the stands Jiro and Shoji wondered 'What does that mean?'
Ochako rushed forwards. Dodgeing the sword strike from Yaoyorozu, she tried to get behind the taller girls guard but the sheild slammed into her side, making her flinch enough for Yaoyorozu to cut her leg.
"That won't work Uraraka. You know I'm not one to fall for tricks like that." Yaoyorozu said, preparing to defend again.
Ochako decided to change strategies. "AIR CANNON!" The large blast of wind forced Yaoyorozu to dodge and move forwards toward Ochako.
'That is a dangerous attack. If it hits me it may be enough to knock me off this platform.' Yaoyorozu considered her options. "If defence is to risky, I'll go on the offensive!"
Ochako smirked slightly as her plan came together. Quickly healing her leg Ochako started moving backwards, occasionally using wind magic to deflect the sword strikes she couldn't dodge while preparing another spell.
Yaoyorozu kept advancing and saw they were nearing the edge of the arena. She decided to try to bash Ochako with her shield and knock her out.
Right as Yaoyorozu rushed forwards Ochako cast the speed up spell and moved behind Yaoyorozu.
The rich girl panicked and spun around, face to face with Ochako, who now had a sword in her gut. "Oh god! Oh I am so sorry." Yaoyorozu freaked out and dropped the sword. Gamer's mind calmed her just in time to see Ochako raise her hand and say "Air cannon."
The following blast of wind hit Yaoyorozu point blank and was more then enough to knock the rich girl out of the tournament.
Ochako then pulled the sword out of her gut and healed herself. Taking a quick look at her health and mana she was glad she got the super regeneration perk as they were at [HEALTH: 200/560] and [MANA: 1500/2800].
Her stamina was fine and she would heal quickly with the perk but without it she would definitely have lost her next match.
Midnight recovered from the shock of seeing one student pull a sword out of her gut and heal herself like it was nothing. "URARAKA OCHAKO WINS!"
The crowd went wild in applause at the match and Mic asked "HOW DID URARAKA JUST TAKE A SWORD TO HER GUT THEN PULL IT OUT LIKE IT WAS NOTHING? CAN YOU PLEASE EXPLAIN THAT AIZAWA?"
Aizawa, who was probably the only one other than the gamers not frozen in shock after seeing the sword in the girls stomach, said "I can. All the students with all those abilities are able to heal themselves and others. Plus they don't feel pain from anything."
Mic said "ALL THEIR ABILITIES ARE BULLSHIT! HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO BEAT THEM?"
Aizawa replied "If anyone finds the answer besides eachother fighting I will let you know."
Down in the arena Ochako helped Yaoyorozu up. "Good match Yaoyorozu."
The rich girl smiled. "Yes it was. Though I apologize for stabbing you like that. I panicked when you went behind me."
Ochako smiled. "It's fine. I wasn't expecting it but I do specialize in healing and it is nowhere near the worst injury I've healed."
The two laughed slightly as they walked back to the stands. Once they got there Kirishima and Shinso left.
Izuku congratulated Ochako for her win. "That was an amazing fight you two. Great job on the win Uraraka. And you did great too Yaoyorozu."
Ochako blushed slightly at the praise and Yaoyorozu smiled. Uraraka said "Thanks Midoriya. Now lets see who I'm fighting in the semi finals."
Ashido saw the blush on her cheeks but decided to tease her later. The next match was about to start. Once again she asked "So who do you think will win?"
The other 3 gamers all said "Shinso" at the same time.
Ashido was slightly suprised at the immediate answer. "How can you be so certain?"
Yaoyorozu explained "Kirishima is strong that is for sure. But his durability is his greatest strength. Shinso is strong enough to damage him even with Kirishima's durability and much too fast to be hit back."
Izuku continued "Kirishima's quirk runs on his stamina. And while it is deffinetly improving he can still only keep it up for so long. If we run out of stamina we can no longer use skills or quirks that run on it. And if we try to push it too hard we pass out."
Ashido decided to stop asking questions and just watch the match.
Mic said "THIS IS THE FINAL MATCH OF THE QUARTER FINALS. WE HAVE KIRISHIMA EJIRO VS SHINSO HITOSHI. THIS SHOULD BE ANOTHER INTERESTING ONE BUT LET'S HOPE NOBODY GETS IMPALED THIS TIME."
Most people in the stands shuddered as they remembered the sight of a sword sticking out of Ochako.
Kirishima and Shinso both stepped onto the arena. Kirishima said "Hey, lets follow that and not end this with a sword impaleing one of us."
Shinso nodded. "Sure. Not like the sword would get past your hardening anyways."
Midnight started the match. "BEGIN!"
Kirishima hardened his whole body and waited. Shinso started darting around the arena at speeds few in the class could match. Kirishima tried to keep track of his opponent but couldn't.
Shinso blasted him from behind with a shadow blast. Kirishima stumbled forward from the hit but recovered and launched a punch while turning around.
Shinso blocked it but the hit still did some damage and knocked him back. Kirishima said "You're fast but not fast enough."
Shinso glared. "Fine then. How about I go faster." He then glowed blue as the speed up spell took affect. Running as fast as Iida, Shinso blasted Kirishima with water from every side.
Kirishima yelled "ENOUGH!" and punched the ground with the earth fist spell. The arena shook and knocked Shinso off his feet.
In the stands Ashido yelled "GO KIRI! YOU GOT THIS!"
Kirishima smiled at Ashido's cheering and walked towards Shinso. Shinso stood up and Kirishima asked "Any more tricks?"
Shinso replied "Yeah. This." Shinso then used every single trap spell in his Arsenal.
Kirishima was wrapped in chains of darkness and glowing light, an coffin made of ice surrounded him. Rocks fell hiding him from view, a shere of water surrounded all the other traps and a cage of wind surronded that. To top it all off a fire vortex erupted around everything else.
Shinso looked at Midnight and said "Call it. There is no way he is getting out of all of that."
Midnight muttered something about stupidly strong first years then said "SHINSO HITOSHI WINS BY IMMOBILIZATION!"
All the different traps dissapeared and Kirishima fell to the ground. Standing up he said "That sucks to get trapped with."
In the stands Ashido asked "What the hell was that?"
Izuku ignored Iida shouting "LANGUAGE" and answered "Every element has a trap spell. Shinso used them all. It takes alot of Mana but you would have to be extremely powerful to break it."
Ochako added "Midoriya is the only one who has done it and he had to use half of superpower to do it."
Everyone stared in shock. Izuku had beat most of them with only superpower before and he only used around 20% to do it. For someone to force him to use half of his power was crazy.
Mic said "NEXT IS THE SEMIFINALS! BUT FIRST WE WILL TAKE A SMALL BREAK SO THE 4 COMPETING CAN RECOVER A BIT."
Ashido groaned as she said "You 5 are way too strong. I don't see how anyone can beat you. I mean even Todoroki going all out lost."
Izuku laughed a bit. "We can be beaten Ashido. Our weaknesses are easy to spot if you really look."
Ashido just glared as they waited for the next matches to start.
Chapter 12: Sports Festival - Semi Finals, Finals and awards
Immediatly after Mic showed the brackets Izuku got up and Iida followed suit. Both went to their waiting rooms. Everyone else started chatting about the next two matches.
Hagakure asked "So who's faster? Iida or Midoriya?"
Uraraka thought for a moment then answered "It depends on what you mean. If you mean top speed then Iida because of his recipro burst. If you mean in like over a long period of time then Midoriya due to his much higher average speed."
Sero asked "So in this match who do you think wins?"
To everyone's suprise it was Todoroki, who had just recovered enough to leave Recovery Girl's office, who answered the question. "Midoriya wins. Even if Iida uses his Recipro Burst straight away, which I doubt he will, Midoriya can react quick enough to dodge. And if he does get hit he can just start flying and recover. Iida then lacks the fire power to bring him down."
Everyone looked at the 4 gamers and for confirmation and Yaoyorozu said "That is correct. Though Iida can win if he takes Midoriya by suprise and uses his Recipro Burst at the right time."
Ojiro asked "Who wins between Uraraka and Shinso?"
Both shrugged. Uraraka answered "50/50. Shinso is much faster than me but I have more health and mana. I can heal myself easier but Shinso can hit me quicker. It kinda depends on who has better aim. The moment one of us is out of mana the other wins.
The questions stopped as Mic announced both competitors walked onto the field. "WELCOME TO THE SEMI FINALS! WHO EVER WINS THIS MATCH WILL BE MOVING ON TO THE FINALS! FIRST UP WE HAVE MIDORIYA IZUKU, THE BOY WITH EVERY TRICK UP HIS SLEEVES AND THEN SOME! WE ALSO HAVE IIDA TENYA, THIS KID'S SPEED ISNO JOKE! LET'S SEE WHO WINS! OFF TO YOU MIDNIGHT!"
Midnight asked both students "Ready?" Getting two positive answered she shouted "FIGHT!"
Iida immediately shot forwards quickly, though not using his Recipro Burst, and Izuku did the same. Izuku charged up 12% of OFA into his legs. Both fighters kicked out at the other. As their legs connected a small shockwave sent dust everywhere and cracked the arena. Iida was overpowered and sent back.
"You are holding back." The tall blue haired teen noted.
Izuku replied "So are you."
Both once again charged forwards but this time Iida managed to land a solid hit to Izuku's ribs, ealing quite abit of damage and sending the green haired teen skidding across the arena.
Up in the stands Sato said "Why are they holding back? Midoriya can do so much more and move so much faster. Iida is going way slower than usual too."
Bakugo realised what was happening and he scoffed. "The damn nerd is helping four eyes get stronger."
Most of the class questioned what the blond meant. Bakygo responded "I'm not a massive quirk nerd like Deku but I do know how they grow. Mutant quirks like four eyes get stronger when pushed to the physical limits and then forced past that. Deku is fighting at just above his level right now. This will cause four eyes to get stronger and faster."
Asui asked "I get that Midoriya wants to help but is this the best time?"
Todoroki replied "That's just who he is. He knew that I was holding back half my power and decided to help me with my issues."
Ochako said "That's not all. Midoriya has a skill called combat regeneration. It levels up when it is used. It regenerates his health, mana and stamina over time. By letting himself get hit then heal his regenerative capabilities are getting stronger. It's a win-win for both."
Back in the arena Iida asked "Why are you letting me hit you? You can easily dodge my attacks, especially since i am holding back my speed right now."
Izuku smiled as his bruises disappeared. "So my regeneration gets stronger. Plus I refuse to take an opponent seriously if they don't fight at their 100% unless they hava a valid reason to like their full power hurting them."
Iida's eyes widened as he realised that he was breathing slightly heavy but Izuku wasnt even sweating. Knowing he had to end this quick Iida said "Fine. I will be going all out from here on out."
Iida blasted forwards even quicker and Izuku's smile widened. He charged up to 12% again and this time the kicks met with a slightly bigger shockwave and both fighters getting knocked back. Izuku said "Not bad Iida. Let's see how you do against this!"
Izuku glowed blue along with the green lightning and blurred forward. His next kick left Iida sprawled out on the ground.
Iida got back up. 'So fast! That speed would even impress Tensei!' Iida thought. 'No! I must not let my brother down! I need to move faster!' Iida pushed his quirk harder and shot forwards at the same speed.
Izuku dodged the next strike and switched OFA to his arm. Using 15% he slammed his fist into Iida's chest, knocking the speedster off balance and towards Midnight as his forward momentum knocked him over.
"C'mon Iida," Izuku called out "use your recipro. Show me some real speed or I will end the match right now. I know you're stronger than you show. So stop holding back!"
Iida grunted in pain as he got up. "Fine! I will show you. RECIPRO BURST!"
Blue flames came out of his engines as Iida shot forwards, not seeing Izuku's smirk. Izuku formed his tail and spun to the side, smacking Iida's back as he shot past and let physics do the rest.
Izuku checked his stats to see all his bars regenerating. He then checked Combat Regeneration and saw that it hadn't leveled up yet. 'Dang. Hopefully this next match does it.'
Midnight declared Izuku the winner and Iida slowly stood up, groaning in pain from diving head first into the ground at high speeds. His glasses were cracked and his nose was bleeding as was his forhead and lip.
Izuku said "Sorry about that. Let me just.." Izuku trailed off as he healed Iida. "Nothing I can do about the glasses. Maybe ask Yaoyorozu if you don't have a spare pair."
Iida said "Much appreciated. And do not worry. I fully expected this to happen today and made sure to bring my extra pair."
Mic called out "WHAT SPORTSMANSHIP BETWEEN CLASSMATES! MIDORIYA SECURES HIS SPOT IN THE FINALS. NOW LET'S GET HIM AN OPPONENT SHALL WE?"
Shinso and Ochako started off towards their waiting rooms. Izuku and Iida walked back to the stands.
Once they got there Ashido immediately asked "What was up with that match? Why did you hold back so much?"
Izuku replied "To help Iida push himself. And to strengthen my regeneration."
Kirishima said "Told you so Mina."
Ashido said "Well it seemed like a risky move. Did it work?"
Izuku said "Kimd of. Iida deffinetly got faster but my regeneration stayed the same. The finals will definitely cause it to level up no matter who wins this next match."
As if on cue Mic announced the two walking to the arena. "HERE IS THE FINAL MATCH OF THE SEMI FINALS! WILL MIDORIYA FACE OFF AGAINST SHINSO HITOSHI, OR WILL URARAKA OCHAKO GO HEAD TO HEAD WITH OUR FINALIST FOR A CHANCE AT VICTORY? LETS FIND OUT!"
Midnight quickly started the match and Shinso and Ochako immediately started fireing off spells.
Blasts of fire, water, air, rocks, thorns, light, shadows, ice and lightning flew around the arena. Most collided and cancelled eachother out, the few that hit did very minimal damage. After about a minute the attacks stopped and both fighters were panting.
Mic asked shocked "WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT ERASERHEAD?"
Aizawa sounded equally suprised. "I'm not sure. It is common for those 5 to launch big barrages but they usually stick with one element like fire, earth or air. They have never switched between elements that quickly so I have no idea."
Mic shouted "JUST WHAT ARE YOU TEAVHING YOUR STUDENTS?"
Aizawa replied "I teach how to problem solve and improve yourself. The 5 problem children take it a step further and do training on their own outside of school. This leads to them almost always having new tricks. I have no idea what they will do next."
Mic joked "YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST EVERYONE! ERASERHEAD'S A TERRIBLE TEACHER!"
And immediately regretted it as he heard "I'm what?" from Aizawa and felt his glare burning holes in the back of his head.
He tried to ignore it as Shinso and Ochako recovered. "That was tiring." Shinso said.
Ochako nodded in agreement. "Yep. Good thing I will be able to recover in time for the next match."
Shinso laughed at the freindly banter and charged forwards. He punched Ochako in the face, making the girl recoil. Then he started floating and felt a hand on his arm.
Ochako giggled. "I don't use it much anymore but don't forget. I can still make you weightless and easy to move."
Shinso used an air cannon to blast himself away from his opponent. It worked a little too well as he shot away at high speeds. Ochako released her quirk and Shinso slid to a stop just inside the boundary line. 'Shit! That was too close!' He thought.
Mic said as much. "OH! SO CLOSE TO A RING OUT! SHINSO BETTER BE MORE CAREFUL OR URARAKA MIGHT TAKE HIM OUT."
Shinso got up and dodged to the side as an air cutter shot at him. It still cut into his right leg, damaging it and slowing his movements unless he could heal it. He didn't get that chance as Ochako was quickly next to him and blasted him out of the arena.
Shinso sighed as he healed himself and Midnight announced "URARAKA OCHAKO WINS BY RING OUT! SHE WILL FACE MIDORIYA IZUKU IN THE FINALS!"
Mic said "ALL RIGHT FOLKS! GIVE US SOME TIME TO PREPARE FOR THE FINALS AND LET OUR TWO FINALISTS REST A BIT. TAKE THIS TIME TO GO GET SOME FOOD OR DO WHATEVER YOU NEED TO DO! I HAVE A FEELING THAT THIS NEXT MATCH WILL BE ONE TO REMEMBER AND YOU DONT WANT TO MISS IT!"
30 MINUTES LATER
Izuku and Ochako walked onto the field as Mic announced the finals. "THIS IS IT EVERYBODY! THE MOMENT WE HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR! IN THIS FINAL BATTLE WILL MIDORIYA IZUKU TAKE HOME THE GOLD MEDAL OR WILL URARAKA OCHAKO BECOME THE CHAMPION OF THE FIRST YEARS?"
The new couple walked onto the arena and Izuku asked "Want to up the stakes a bit Ochako?"
Ochako asked "Sure. What did you have in mind?"
Izuku smiled. "Winner chooses the place and time for our first date."
Ochako replied "You're on."
Midnight smirked as she thought 'I'm giving the first years their sex ed class early. There is a new couple here and they need to know how to be safe after all.' She then started the match.
Up in the stands Jiro overheard the two finalists' bet. She turned to Ashido and said "Hey Mina. I found out who Midoriya has a date with."
Ashido's eyes lit up. "Who?" She demanded.
Jiro pointed at the arena. "The winner get to choose the date."
Ashido smirked. "Oh I am so teasing them about this."
Back in the arena immediately after Midnight called start Izuku charged up OFA in his arm at 25%. His punch launched a large gust of wind that hit Ochako.
She stood against it but the wind pressure still managed to knock her back a bit. Seeing that she was almost out of bounds from that one strike Ochako fired and air cannon at Izuku. The two blasts of air cancelled eachother out and Ochako moved away from the edge of the arena.
Izuku smiled at her and asked "Ready to really get started?"
Ochako nodded. "Yep. I'm going all out Izuku."
Izuku formed his claws and said "Well then, Lets go."
He then charged forwards and slashed out with his claws. Ochako dodged most of them but still got cuts on her arms. She jumped back and shot a fireball at Izuku. Izuku did the same and the two attacks caused a smokescreen in the arena.
Ochako charged through it to catch Izuku off guard but reached the other side to see nothing. She quickly spun around only to be slapped in the face by a tail.
Izuku had formed his wings and tail then flown up and landed behind her as she ran through the smokescreen. Izuku smacked her with his tail and landed. His wings dissapeared as Ochako stood up.
She glared slightly and shot a bolt of lightning at Izuku. He was unable to dodge it so he formed his scales to help take the hit.
Izuku saw that his Health had a small chunk missing but his Stamina and Mana were each almost full.
Ochako also saw this thanks to analyse and growled as he kept recovering. "I know we have similar powers but you have way to many tricks up your sleeves."
Izuku chuckled a bit. "I know. Who's idea was it to give someone a dragon quirk, superstrength, regeneration and the ability to manipulate just about every element there is ?"
Ochako charged again while saying "I don't know but if I ever find out who i will be having words with them!"
She tried to punch Izuku in the face but he caught her fist. Izuku then went on the offensive and kept throwing punches and shooring out attacks of different elements. Ochako was forced to dodge and used her quirk to help. This drained her stamina quickly however as she didn't use her quirk on herself much.
Izuku slipped past her guard, charged OFA at 15% in his fist again and punched Ochako with enough force to knock her out as the last of her stamina depleted.
As her consciousness faded she saw Izuku pick her up as Midnight called the match. He told her "You did incredible. You can rest now Ochako." Her vision faded as she fell asleep.
The crowd went wild at the Victory as Mic yelled "THE WINNER, AFTER A SLIGHTLY SHORT BUT INCREDIBLE MATCH, IS MIDORIYA IZUKU! GIVE US SOME TIME TO PREPARE THE PODIUM AND LET OUR STUDENTS RECOVER THEN WE CAN GET THE AWARD CEREMONY STARTED!"
Izuku walked to Recovery Girl's office. Once he got there and layed Ochako into a bed Recovery Girl smacked him on the head. He didn't react due to gamer's body but Recovery Girl said "You just dont know how to hold back! I can't even heal the girl due to her stamina loss!"
Izuku sighed as she smacked his head more. He said "I can heal her. I'm not sure when she's gonna wake up though." Ochako glowed white as the bruises and cuts from the match dissapeared.
Recovery Girl sighed in exasperation. "Well at least you can do that. I swear, you One For All users keep getging more and more reckless every time." The old nurse walked away so Izuku took this time to look at his leveled up combat regeneration.

DESCRIPTION: RESTORES .5% OF HEALTH PER 4 SECONDS AND RESTORES 1% OF MANA AND STAMINA PER 2 SECONDS]
Izuku closed the window, satisfied with his progress on the skill. He got a call from his mom. Bracing himself for the yelling he answered the call.
"IIIIZZZUUUUKKKUUUUU!" Inko shouted, it was clear she was crying as she said this.
Izuku said "Hi mom."
Before Izuku could say anything else Inko said "Izuku! I can't believe it! You won! We need to celebrate! We can Invite the Bakugo's."
Izuku interupted his mother. "It would be a bad idea to invite the Bakugo's mom."
Inko calmed down a bit and asked "Why? Is there something wrong between you and Katsuki?"
Izuku replied "Kind of. We haven't been freinds for a long time. Plus he lost before he ever fought me so he might challenge me to one to prove he's better than me. And I really don't feel like listening to him complain the whole night when I beat him."
Inko said "Is he really that bad?"
Izuku answered "Yeah. He got Auntie Mitsuki's temper but he doesn't have anyone to keep him in check because he doesn't respect anyone."
Inko sighed. "Ok. So we won't invite the Bakugos. How about some of your other freinds and their families."
Izuku said "Yeah that would be fun. Oh and when I get home I have some news for you."
This got inko worried. "What is it?" She asked.
Izuku calmed ger worries. "It's nothing bad. It's just something I should tell you in person. Now I gotta go. See you soon."
Inko said "Ok Izuku. I'll see you soon. Bye." She then hung up.
Ochako groaned quietly. She opened her eyes and sat up. She looked at her surroundings and saw Izuku. "Hi Izuku. I guess you won huh?"
Izuku nodded. "Yeah, I won. Our date is this Saturday at 3. I'll pick you up at your house ok?"
Ochako blushed and nodded slowly. "How long was I out?"
Izuku answered "Just long enough for me to talk to my mom on the phone. I imagine your parents will call you soon. When they do, my mom wanted you and your parents to come over to celebrate so ask them about that."
Ochako nodded. "Yeah I'll ask them. You ask the others."
Izuku opened their party chat.
[PARTY CHAT:
MIDORIYA I: Hey guys I have a request from my mom.
RED RIOT: What's up Midobro. Also congrats on the win.
MIDORIYA I: My Mom wanted me to invite you and your families to celebrate our placing in the sports festival.
YAOYOROZU M: That sounds lovely. I will ask but I cannot promise anything. And i apologize in advance if they offend anyone by accident. My family is quite well off and we are used to high quality living.
RED RIOT: Sounds great! I'll ask my parents and they should say yes.
SHINSO H: My parents are leaving town for work tonight so they can't. I'd be happy to though.
URARAKA O: My parents agreed to come. But they do want an explanation as to how I did all that stuff.
MIDORIYA I: We can figure that out later. The awards ceremony is soon so Uraraka, Shinso and I need to go.]
Izuku closed the screen as Mic walked in. "Hey guys. Im here to lead you to the podiums. The others are already there. Lets go." He said.
Izuku got up and helped Ochako up as well. Before they could leave Recovery Girl said "Hold it. I still need to make sure Uraraka is good to go before you leave."
The elderly nurse then gave Ochako a quick examination. Seeing nothing wrong she said "Everything looks ok. But if you have any pain or discomfort come strait to me. Ok?"
Ochako nodded. Recovery girl said "Good. Now go on, enjoy the awards ceremony then go celebrate."
The three left and got to the podium. Seeing that Iida was missing Izuku asked "Where is Iida?"
Shinso answered "There was a family emergency. He had to leave so i guess his medal will be given to him another time."
Izuku thought 'I hope everything turns out ok.'
Izuku stepped up on to the first place podium and Ochako to the secomd place. Shinso stood on the third place podium. After about a minute the podium started rising up. The ceiling opened up, revealing the three as the crowd cheered.
Midnight said "HERE ARE THE WINNERS OF THE SPORTS FESTIVAL! AND TO DELIVER THE MEDALS WE HAVE-"
A booming laugh shook the arena as All Might jumped from the top of the stadium shouting "I AM HERE!"
At the same time Midnight said "OUR VERY OWN ALL MIGHT! Oops. Sorry I talked over you."
All Might laughed as he approached the podium. "YOUNG SHINSO. YOU DID EXTREMELY WELL IN THISE SPORTS FESTIVAL. I BELIVE IF YOU CONTINUE TO GROW YOU CAN WIN FIRST PLACE NEXT YEAR! You really were incredible. Keep working hard." All Might pulled Shinso into a hug and gave him a bronze medal then moved on.
"YOUNG URARAKA. YOU FOUGHT HARD AND PROVED YOURSELF. REMEMBER THIS MOMENT AND ALWAYS TRY TO PUSH YOURSELF TO BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE. I can't imagine the power you will have, even a year from now. Keep working hard to accomplish your dreams." Another small hug and a silver medal then All Might moved on.
"AND LAST, BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST, YOUNG MIDORIYA. YOU FOUGHT HARD, PUSHING BOTH YOURSELF AND YOUR OPPONENTS TO GROW. TAKE THIS MEDAL WITH PRIDE. You are truly the greatest pick for my successor. You have truely impressed me young man." ALL Might pulled Izuku into a hug, one that lasted slightly longer than the other two, and gave him a gold medal.
"I GIVE YOU THE CHAMPION OF THE FIRST YEARS! NOW ONE LAST TIME, SAY IT WITH ME!"
"GO BEYOND! PLUS ULTRA!" Everyone in the stadium cheered.
Izuku looked at his quest. The hidden reward was a title.
"TITLE UNLOCKED: Champion of the first years
EFFECTS: Doubles the growth speed of Skills, Quirks, Spells and Stats. (Does not effect character EXP)]
Izuku equipped it and met up with his freinds. Kirishima slapped him on the back and said "Congrats man. Sucks I didn't win but you earned it. Oh and my folks are coming to the celebration."
Yaoyorozu also congratulated them. "Yes you did amazing Midoriya. You too Uraraka. Though Jiro and Ashido did find out about your date."
Izuku said "Oh well. It was bound to happen eventually. So are your parents coming?"
Yaoyorozu nodded. "Yes. Mother and Father were quite exited to meet my friends as I did not have many real friends in junior high due to my wealth."
Izuku smiled. "Great. I'll see you guys soon. Now I need to go."
Ochako said "Bye Izuku."
Kirishima said "Yep. I gotta go too. My parents need me to lead the way."
The 5 left to get what they needed done to prepare for the party.
Chapter 13: Celebration
Izuku had just gotten home, everyone stared at him on the train ride since he just won the sports festival, when the door flew open and he was crushed in a bear hug and soaked with tears. "IZUKU! YOU WERE INCREDIBLE!" Inko cried.
Izuku hugged his mom back before letting go. After escaping from the bone crushing hug, and having to use a healing spell to recover from it, he said "Ochako, Yaoyorozu, Kirishima and Shinso are coming. And everyone but Shinso is bringing their parents."
Inko noticed how he said Ochako but decided to tease him about that later. "That's great dear. Now then, you go clean up and get changed then help me finish dinner."
Izuku agreed. After a quick shower and change of clothes he went back to the kitchen and helped his mom with dinner.
After a little while longer there was a knock at the door. Izuku said "I'll get it." He washed his hands off and walked to the door. Opening it revealed Ochako and her family.
"Hi Izuku. We're a little early, i hope that's all right." Ochako greeted.
Izuku stepped back and invited them in. "It's fine. Come on in. You are the first ones here so the food isn't ready yet."
Inko walked over and said "Hello. I'm Izuku's mother, Inko."
Uraraka's father said "Nice to meet you Mrs. Midoriya. And you too Midoriya. I'm Uraraka Kenya."
Uraraka's mother introduced herself next. "I'm Uraraka Hana. Nice to meet you both. Ochako has told us alot about you Midoriya."
Ochako blushed as her mother said that. Inko giggled at that. "Welcome. Dinner will be ready soon. You're only a little early. Make yourselves at home."
The Urarakas thanked Inko and sat down. Izuku stayed and interacted with their guests. Eventually Kenya asked "I asked Ochako earlier but she didn't give me an answer so I'll ask again. Where did all those new powers come from? And why do you have such similar abilities?"
Izuku and Ochako had a silent conversation in the party chat(since they just needed to think about putting words there.
[PARTY CHAT:
MIDORIYA I: Hey, Ochako's parents are asking about our powers. Are you ok with telling our parents?"
YAOYOROZU M: Of course. But if you will, I am almost there with my parents. If you will wait we can tell them together.
SHINSO: No problem. I'm a little late. My parents just left after we celebrated ourselves.
RED RIOT: Same here. In fact.]
Kirishima cut off themessage and someone knocked on the door. Izuku said "Excuse me for a moment."
He opened the door to see Kirishima with his parents standing there. "Hello Kirishima, Mr. and Mrs. Kirishima. Come on in and take a seat."
Kirishima said "Thanks Midobro." and walked in. His parents followed.
Yaoyorozu was right behind him with her parents so Izuku relayed the same greeting.
Once they got back to the living room Inko stepped in. "Hello Kirishima, Yaoyorozu. It's good to see you two again. And these must be your parents."
The two teens nodded. Yaoyorozu said "Shinso will be a bit late today it seems."
Inko nodded and Yaoyorozu's parents looked confused as to how she knew that. Kenya stood up to his full height and approched Izuku. "I don't know what's going on but I want answers! How do you all have these powers! Ochako certainly didn't have them before!"
Izuku didn't even flinch at the sight of the much larger man, which confused Kenya. "He isn't scared of me. Why isn't he scared of me? Why aren't you scared of me?"
Izuku replied "Sir with all due respect I have faced things much scarier than you. Now sit down and I can explain."
Ochako's father grumbled but complied. Once he did Izuku said "Our powers are similar for a reason." He turned the screens to public. "This is a system called THE GAMER. It gives us access to these screens and incredible abilities."
He showed of his stats and skills. "Our powers are magic we learned through this system."
Izuku opened his inventory and a glowing golden egg popped out. "That's new." He noted.
Yaoyorozu said "Wait! It has been one month since we got those monster eggs. They are ready to hatch now."
All the parents, minus Inko, were shocked and confused but most didn't say anything. Hans however asked "Monster egg? Is it safe?"
Izuku said "Probably. But if it's not we can take care of it. Plus it's just a wolf not something crazy like a dragon."
Izuku tapped the egg and a screen popped up.
[HATCH MONSTER EGG(WOLF)
{YES} {NO} ]
Izuku selected yes and the egg glowed even brighter before the light faded to reveal a small wolf with emerald curly fur, that looked extremely fluffy, and eyes.
Ochako said "Awww. How cute, it's like a little wolf Izuku."
Using analyse on the wold pup revealed it's stats and status.

Ochako gushed "COOOOOL! That's awesome! And you got all those skills too! My turn!"
Ochako hatched her egg and her wolf had short pink fur that looked extremely soft and warm brown eyes. Her wolf was more durable than Izuku's but slightly slower and just as smart.
Yaoyorozu went next and her wolf had long sleek black hair and onyx eyes. Her wolf was also quick and intelegent but not very durable.
Kirishima's wolf had spikey bright red hair and eyes. His wolf was easily the most durable but was the slowest and least intelligent of the group.
Kirishima's mom said "Hold on a minute. What's going on? Where did you get this things?"
Izuku apologised and continued his explanation. "Oh sorry. You see, these powers gave us a way to get stronger. We all have a skill called item dungeon. We use it to go into a pocket dimension and fight enemied. We get rewards like EXP, weapons, armor and once, a pet egg."
Ochako continued "But they are dangerous. We have all lost a least one limb before. Heck, once Izuku lost both his legs in one."
This shocked all the parents, minus Inko again though she did look uneasy at the memory of her son with missing limbs, and they ran and checked on their children despite them being fine.
Kirishima said "Don't worry. Gamer's Body lets us regenerate limbs and stuff. Though that is why sometimes we stay the night here as it takes 8 hours of sleep to heal it." This calmed all the parents down.
Izuku decided to end the explanation with one last thing. He opened the skill shop. "These skills we can buy make us much stronger if we level them up." Izuku saw he had 5 skill points and bought super regeneration. "Certain skills are much stronger than others."
Yaoyorozu's father asked "Do your healing spells work on anyone?"
Ochako, the party healer, answered "Sort of. On us the healing spells can fix just about anything but missing limbs. On anyone without gamer's body it can still fix broken limbs but missing organs and most things that can't normally be healed are left alone. Minor nerve damage and small scars can also be healed."
Yaoyorozu's father was stunned. "That is incredible. Can you heal brain damage?"
Ochako said "I'm not sure. We only know about the effects of healing spells due to us having tried them. A few third years had damaged nerves that made it hard to close their hands and stuff and almost every second and third year in the hero course have a few scars that we have fixxed."
Kenya asked "Why do you know so much about healing?"
Izuku answered "We can all heal but Ochako is the best at it. We call her our party healer because of it."
There was another knock at the door. Izuku got up. "That must be Shinso."
He opened it to reveal Shinso, but behind him was the Bakugos. He smiled and invited them in. "Hello Auntie Mitsuki, Uncle Masaru, Katsuki. Come in please. You too Shinso."
The four entered the house and sat down. Immediately Katsuki asked "What's with the little mutts?"
Instead of answering Izuku looked at Shinso and said "Open your inventory and get the wolf egg."
Mitsuki snorted in amusement. "What is this? Some sort of video... game..... What the hell?"
The Bakugo Matriarch cut off as Shinso did as told and a screen appeared in front of him and a glowing golden egg appeared in his hands.
Izuku explained "Me, Shinso, Kirishima, Ochako and Yaoyorozu all have video game powers."
Mitsuki asked "Is that how you used all those powers despite being quirkless?"
Izuku nodded. "Kind of. I do have 3 quirks. The superstrength one, another super strength one, and the dragon one. But yeah all the different attacks plus some other things are from our video game powers. Including those wolves."
Mitsuki said "That's bullshit."
Izuku nodded and Kirishima said "Yeah, alot of people think that."
Shinso said "So the eggs are ready to hatch?" Izuku nodded and Shinso hatched the egg. His wolf had messy purple hair and was the fastest of the wolves. It immediately curled up next to Shinso and took a nap.
Mitsuki decided to move past the shocking revelation and said "Well we came over to congratulate Izuku for winning. This brat didn't want to but we made him."
Katsuki yelled "SHUT THE FUCK UP OLD HAG!" Inko immediately smacked the blond.
"Language." She scolded.
The party continued and the wolves were named. Izuku named his Jade, Kirishima named his Fang, Shinso named his Lycan, Ochako named hers Jupiter, and Yaoyorozu named hers Lupa.
Everyone talked and laughed as they told stories and jokes. Eventually Katsuki had enough. He walked straight up to Izuku, looked him in the eyes and demanded "Fight me."
Izuku simply replied "No."
Katsuki asked "Why not?"
Izuku answered "Because I don't feel like winning a pointless fight that you challenged me to just to satisfy your own fragile ego."
Mitsuki asked "Why is it pointless? It seems like he has a reason."
Ochako said "Because we already know Izuku is stronger. He beat Bakugo in the first training exercise. Then in the sports festival I beat him while holding back and then Izuku beat me when I was going all out."
Izuku added "Also, it's illegal to use our powers without a licence. Us 5 only have our healing licences to be able to heal others in an emergency."
Katsuki taunted "So your scared? You must know you only won because you never caught me."
Izuku said "Escuse me?"
Katsuki continued. "Scared, weak, useless DEKU!"
Izuku stood up. "Fine. Let's go to the beach. But if we get in trouble for this I'm putting it all on you."
Mitsuki asked "Is this really worth fighting about?"
Shinso said "Mitsuki right?" Mitsuki nodded. "Okay Mitsuki, this won't be a fight. This is gonna be a one sided beat down but don't worry, we can heal his body. His pride is screwed though."
Everyone got up as Mitsuki wondered 'What is about to happen?'
AT THE BEACH
Izuku and Katsuki stood on the beach, about to fight, with everyone watching. It was decided that Yaoyorozu would referee the match as she would be fair, not let the match go to far and was able to use analyse to keep track of the two fighters' health.
Yaoyorozu started the match and Katsuki immediately blasted forwards with his explosions. He attacked Izuku.
Izuku dodged without useing any quirk or spell to help him. Katsuki kept up the assault but couldn't land a hit on Izuku. Katsuki yelled "DON'T JUST DODGE YOU FUCKING COWARD!"
Izuku ignored him and kept dodging. Katsuki launched an even bigger explosion that caught the attention of Kamui Woods, a hero who was patrolling nearby.
He ran towards the beach and saw everyone. He approched the adults and asked "What is going on here?"
It was Yaoyorozu who answered. "Hello sir. Those two competed in the sports festival. They never fought and Bakugo thinks Midoriya only won because of that. So he challenged Midoriya to a fight to prove his strength."
Kamui raised his eyebrow. "It seems a little one sided for a fight."
Ochako said "It is one sided. Just not the way it looks right now." Kamui decided to let the match continue but stayed to watch and make sure they didn't get hurt.
Izuku jumped further back than usual and Katsuki stopped for a minute. He was breathing heavy and was extremely tired but wouldn't give up.
Izuku said "My turn." And green lighting flared around his legs. He used 20% of OFA to move behind Katsuki and kick him in the back of the head.
Ochako saw Izuku jump back and said "Izuku wins."
Kamui asked "Are you sure? If i remember right, Midoriya hasn't attacked at all."
Before anyone could answer Izuku disappeared and reappeared behind a now unconscious Katsuki, who landed face first in the sand. Ochako answered "Yes." Then ran to go heal Katsuki.
Shinso looked at Mitsuki and said "That's why Midoriya said the fight was pointless." Mitsuki herself was shocked by how easily her son was beaten as was Kamui.
As Izuku, Ochako and the now awake Katsuki walked back over Kamui said "Well since it seems like you had it all under control and were just training I will let you off with a warning to be careful. I do wish there were more quirk gyms around so we wouldn't get into situations like these."
Kamui started to leave but was stopped by Izuku. He pulled a notebook out of nowhere and flipped to Kamui's page. "Please sign this."
The hero did so while asking "Where did you get that?"
Ochako shook her head. "Don't bother. We have known him for a while and we have no idea where he keeps them."
Eventually everyone got back to the Midoriya house and the party continued, though Katsuki was pissed that Izuku didn't take tge fight seriously, and went well. It was around midnight that everyone went home. Izuku was helping his mother with the dishes when Inko asked "So what was the other thing you wanted to say in person?"
Izuku prepared for the tears and hug as he said "I have a date with Ochako this Saturday." He had to use multiple healing spells to fix his cracked ribs.
