Chapter 7: Start of the Sports Festival
AFTER CLASS, THE DAY BEFORE THE SPORTS FESTIVAL
Everyone had just finished packing up for the day. Uraraka and Izuku were talking as they opened the door to see a huge crowd of students. "Excuse me" She called out. "Can you let us through? What are you even doing here?"
Bakugo walked up and said "What do you think round face? Obviouly their checking out the competition. Not like it matters losers, im gonna kill you all in the sports festival! Now move it!" He shouted that last part at the students in the hall then pushed through them.
A student with big gray eyelashes, silver hair and sharp teeth that kind of looked like Kirishima yelled "AT FIRST I WAS GONNA CHECK OUT CLASS 1A TO SEE THE COMPETITION. BUT NOW I SEE A BUNCH OF ASSHOLES!"
Izuku stepped forwards. "Sorry about Bakugo, he's just a jerk. Very few of us are like him. Im Midoriya Izuku. And you are?"
The teen looked suprised by Izuku's politeness and said "Oh, TetsuTetsu TetsuTetsu. I'm from class 1B. Nice to meet you."
Izuku decided to use alalyse on the teen.

TetsuTetsu yelled "YEAH! THIS SPORTS FESTIVAL IS GONNA BE SO MANLY!" He then slammed his fists together and turned to steel to show off his quirk.
Izuku and most of class 1A thought 'HOLY SHIT IT'S ANOTHER KIRISHIMA/ME'
THE NIGHT BEFORE THE SPORTS FESTIVAL
Him and his freinds had just finished a dungeon run then they all left. Izuku was looking at his stat page, satisfied with the work he had managed to do. Along with going into a dungeon every day with the other gamers he had been working out at the gyms in U.A to increase his stats without spending stat points. Those needed to be saved for an emergancy boost in power after all. He had also been training his quirks and found that Dragon Force leveled up much quicker than OFA.

Izuku grinned as he realised he had enough skill points to get the combat regeneration skill. Right as he was about to do it a quest alert popped up, but this one was slightly different.

DETAILS: The U.A sports festival is tomorrow. Face off against your party and classmates to prove your strength. The further you get the more rewards you get. (Rewards are given to only you, no matter if others are in your party or not.)

Izuku read the quest then heard a message on the party chat. He closed the quest pop-up and looked opened up the chat screen.

RED RIOT: So, guess tomorrow were competing against eachother for more than one reason huh?
MIDORIYA I: Looks like it. So the second event is always a team event. Want to make a team of 5 for it if we can?"
URARAKA O: I'll be on your team, this whole festival has me nervous. I can't wait to compete though.
SHINSO H: I'm down for teamimg in the second event if we can. Gonna beat you guys in the others though. Sorry not sorry
YAOYOROZU M: Yes it seems advantageous to work together in the second event. I also will not be holding back in the first and final events. Apologies in advance.
RED RIOT: Oh thats it. Now im crushing you two, no mercy.
URARAKA O: Wow Midoriya, it's like they forgot about us. Should we teach them their mistake tomorrow?
MIDORIYA I: Yep, lets teach them not to forget the one who can turn off gravity, or the one with the strength of All Might and more. They have sealed their fates now.
RED RIOT: Oh Shit! We're fucked now.
MIDORIYA I: Yes, yes you are.
URARAKA O: You shouldn't have ignored us. Now pay the consequence.
YAOYOROZU M: Would 500,000 yen be enough payment?
SHINSO H: I cant tell if your joking right now Yaoyorozu.
URARAKA O: Nope sorry, pray to whatever God you want.
MIDORIYA I: Spoilers though, we wont be listening.

He closed the screen before anyone could respond. Izuku decided to really break anyone's chances of winning by getting the combat regeneration skill.

Izuku hit perchase and unlocked the skill. He saw that it was at level 1. 'This skill can get stronger! Awesome!' He then calmed himself down and went to sleep to prepare for the next day.
BEGINNING OF THE SPORTS FESTIVAL
Everyone in class 1A was in their waiting room talking amongst themselves and trying to figure out what the first event in the sports festival was going to be. Izuku wasn't worried because he had a wide range of skills to use as well as his new quirk. He had kept it hidden from most of his class to suprise them in the sports festival.
Todoroki suddenly walked up to the five gamers who were talking about their quest. "Midoriya. Arguably you and I are the strongest students here. You may have All Might's attention and some special power, but I will beat you only using my ice."
Izuku turned towards Todoroki. "Todoroki, one, power isn't everything. Two, you are not the second strongest or the strongest here. Kirishima, Uraraka, Yaoyorozu and Shinso can all easily beat you. You will not win with only your ice.
Todoroki glared coldly and replied "Power is everything. Nobody here could fight us except each other if either of us went all out. And I will crush everyone here with only my ice. I will never use my fire in battle."
Kirishima but in. "Hey dude, don't pick a fight you cant win. Besides if you only focus on Midobro the rest of us will knock you to the ground and not let you up. And everyone will surpass you easily if you never give it your all."
Todoroki said "Can't win? I will show you how wrong-" *BZZZZT* The buzzer that signaled them to enter the Arena sounded and cut off Todoroki.
Shinso said "Well, you pissed him off." Izuku nodded and walked into the arena with the rest of his class. Once there they saw the entire stadium filled with fans and pro heroes.
Up in the announcers booth Present Mic called out "HEY LISTENERS! TO KICK OFF THIS SPORTS FESTIVAL WE HAVE CLASS 1A! THE SURVIVORS OF THE USJ!" The whole crowd cheered for the class.
The students from 1B came out next. The crowd cheered again and Mic said "THESE GUYS HAVEN'T GOTTEN AS MUCH ACTION BUT THEY HAVE BEEN WORKING JUST AS HARD! GIVE IT UP FOR HERO CLASS 1B!"
He then announced the resyt of the classes almost lazily. "AND LETS NOT FORGET GEN ED CLASSES C, D, AND E, SUPPORT COURSE CLASSES F, G, AND H, AS WELL AS BUISNESS CORSE CLASSES I, J AND K. NOW WE HAVE MIDNIGHT AS OUR JUDGE TO EXPLAIN THE EVENTS!"
Midnight walked onto the stage in her hero costume. Tokoyami blushed and rhetorically asked "Should she be allowed to wear that on life television?"
Midnight turned on her microphone and said "Hello everyone and welcome to this years sports festival. Saying our player pledge today is the one who got first in the entrance exam BAKUGO KATSUKI!"
Everyone thought 'Oh boy, this isn't gonna be good.' As Bakugo walked up to the stage took the microphone and casually said "I vow to win." Then walked off. The other classes were pissed and all yeled about how overconfident he was.
When he got back to stand with his class Kaminari yelled "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT! NOW THEIR ALL GONNA BE COMING AFTER US!"
Bakugo shrugged him off and said "Whatever. Those losers dont stand a chance against me."
Midnight took control and said "After that pledge i am going to announce our first event! This wheel will decide your fate in the qualifier round. Many students drink their tears here every year. And out first event is..... AN OBSTICAL COURSE!" She spun the wheel and read the results.
Midnight said "Please turn your attention to the big screen." The screen showed the track and how long it was. Everyone went to the starting line "Only the first 42 students will pass. The start line is also the finish line! 3... 2... 1... Go!"
All the students rushed forwards and Mic asked Aizawa, who we had forced into the booth, "WHAT PART SHOULD OUR STUDENTS PAY EXTRA ATTENTION TO ERASERHEAD?"
Aizawa answered "The exit." True to the underground hero's words all the students were pushing past eachother. There were shouts about it being too narrow and then Todoroki froze everyone to the ground and made an ice wall to slow them down.
He looked ahead and saw Izuku, with his wings formed flying far ahead of him. The satisfied smile Todoroki wore dropped instantly and he ran after the dragon boy.
Mic asked "WOAH! IT SEEMS TODOROKI FROZE THE COMPETITION! BUT IT LOOKS LIKE HE MISSED ONE STUDENT WITH WINGS. WHEN DID HE EVEN GET AHEAD OF EVERYONE?"
Back in the ice Uraraka yelled "EVERYONE BACK UP! FLAMETHROWER!" A large stream of flames shot out of her hands ansd melted the ice in front of them. Bakugo blasted forwards with his explosions and everyone else ran after him.
He yelled "YOU WONT BEAT ME ICYHOT! DEKU!"
The two students in question had a far lead on everyone else. They approched the first obstical. Mic yelled "AND HERE WE HAVE OUR FIRST OBSTICAL! THE ROBOT INFERNO!"
Izuku just flew over them all. He had to dodge a hand from a zero pointer that suprised him but other than that he ignored the rest and flew forwards. 'Time to step it up a notch.' Izuku thought. He then channeled 24% of OFA into his wings and shot forwards even faster. He cleared the second and third obsticals before Mic could even announce them.
"WOAH! TODOROKI JUST FROZE ALL THE ZERO POINTERS! WAIT WHAT! I'M NOT SURE HOW BUT MIDORIYA IS ALREADY FINISHED WITH THE RACE! WE HAVE OUR WINNER FOER THE FIRST EVENT! ERASERHEAD HOW DID HE DO THAT?"
Aizawa sighed and answered "Midoriya and a few other students have extreme grab bag quirks. One of his abilities are super speed. Apparently some time in his own training he managed to get the ability to form wings. Put those two together and you have an easy win here."
Mic yelled "ERASERHEAD YOUR STUDENT'S QUIRK IS BULLSHIT!"
Aizawa just replied "Yep." Todoroki and a few others had just managed to reach the second event. Mic actually managed to announce it this time before someone cleared it. "THE SECOND OBSTICAL IS THE FALL! WATCH OUT BECAUSE IF YOU FALL IN THERE YOU WONT HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO PASS."
Todoroki simply froze a rope and slid along the ice. A student from the support corse laughed. "MWEHEHEHE! This whole will be no problem for my newest babies!"
Uraraka was next to her and asked "Can you really bring all that?"
The crazy pink haired inventor replied "Those in the hero course get training and know ways to better use their quirks. To make up for it anyone in the support course can use any gear they make. Now see ya!"
Yaoyorozu tapped Uraraka on the shoulder. "Uraraka, grab my hand! When were in the air use an air cannon to launch us on our way."
The rich girl had a hang glider strapped to her back. Uraraka grabbed her hand and the two jumped. Before they stared falling Uraraka made Yaoyorozu weightless and yelled "AIR CANNON!" She then shot a huge blast of wind from her hand that was pointed behind them. The blast launched them up and forwards while knocking over a few competitors that were behind them.
Shinso simply ran across one of the ropes, clearing it quickly do to his gigh agility and the speed boost spell.
Kirishima yelled "FULL POWER ROCK BULLET!" And then jumped on to the large rock that shot out of nowhere. He managed to ride it just to the other side. Due to the added weight the rock crashed into the other wall and sent Kirishima rolling along the track from his momentum.
When he got up he brushed himself off and heard TetsuTetsu yell "HOLY SHIT THAT WAS MANLY!"
Kirishima had an almost manic grin as he replied "HELL YEAH IT WAS!" Then started running full speed towards the finish line.
Todoroki had just reached the final obstical. Present Mic yelled "IT LOOKS LIKE TODOROKI IS IN SECOND PLACE AND ONTO THE FINAL OBSTICAL! BUT WHATS THIS? YAOYOROZU AND URARAKA ARE WORKING TOGETHER AND ARE NOT FAR BEHIND!"
Todoroki was carefully avoiding the mines. He wasn't freezing them to avoid others getting an advantage, even with him being so far ahead. Suddenly he looked up to see a. paraglider carrying Yaoyorozu and Uraraka soar above him. He quickly froze the ground and ran full speed to try and beat them but was barely too slow. Less then 30 seconds after he finished Shinso dashed in and skidded to a stop. Bakugo was moments behind him.
Soon everyone had finished the race. The scores were Izuku in first, Yaoyorozu in second, Uraraka in third, Todoroki in fourth, and Shinso in fifth. (I'm only showing the top 5 because you all know 1A and 1B pass.)
Bakugo was furious. He not only wasnt in first due to Izuku being able to fly at crazy speeds, but he placed sixth! This was an insult to his very being.
Todoroki was also upset. He should have been able to get at least second. He could accept that he could do nothing to catch up to Izuku. But Yaoyorozu and Uraraka should not have been able to beat him. Plus if he was any slower then Shinso might have been able to beat him too.
Everyone else was proud of themselves for getting to the second event. But little did anyone know that there was a less then freindly face watching the sports festival.
IN AN UNKNOWN LOCATION
Shigaraki was watching the sports festival at his master's command. He decayed his glass and started furiously scratching his neck as he watched the green haired brat win easily. "Did that little shit get even more powers? At first I thought that he was just some stupid mage class. But now he's a dragon mage? This is bullshit!"
A voice came from a screen that showed the words audio only. The voice said "Relax Tomura. He will fall just like the rest. Or perhaps you can think of it like this. In those games of yours you have multiple characters. Think of this as a recruit mission. The penalty for failing is a boss fight. Do you accept your mission Tomura?"
Shigaraki thought for a moment. "Yeah, if the league had someone with his strength then nobody could beat us. Plus if we have to kill him you can just steal his quirks or turn him into a nomu."
Kurogiri, despite always following orders and not questioning them couldn't help but think 'I don't belive trying to recruit that boy will go our way.'
Chapter 8: Round 2 of the Sports Festival
Izuku had just won the first event. Yaoyorozu and Uraraka were right behind him in second and third respectively. Todoroki had gotten third much to his displeasure and Shinso had just barely beaten out Bakugo for fourth.
Midnight struck a pose and said "The top 42 will advance to the second round. If you didnt make the cut don't worry, you will have other activities to do after the festival. Now then, lets spin the wheel and see the second event!" She then spun the wheel and saw that it landed on "ITS CAPTURE THE FLAG! This is a team event where you can have teams of up to 5 and if you dont have a team you are disqualified."
The big screen showed the rules for the event. Midnight further explained. "Each team will have a base. Your flags will be in the base, every member of a team gets a flag. The pount values go up by 5 each time."
Izuku muttered to himself. "Since I got first I will have 210 points if my calculations are correct."
"THE WINNER OF THE FIRST EVENT WILL HAVE..... TEN MILLION POINTS!"
'Crap.'
Instantly everyone else turned to look at Izuku. Thankfully the other 4 gamers stuck with him. Midnight spoke again after listening to something in the earpeice she had on. "And to make things actually challenging for certain students, the ability they call "lockdown" is banned for this event as it would guarantee the users victory."
Most of the student looked confused. Class 1A looked relieved and the 5 gamers looked almost annoyed. Kirishima said "Well look at it this way, now we can really test ourselves and prove how strong we are instead of just making an unbreakable barrier. This is gonna be so manly now!"
Izuku chucked at his eagerness to have a good fight. One certain blond haired, purple-blue eyes student with a smug grin from class 1B walked up to them. "Oh? You think that just because your from 1A your so much better than us?"
Before anyone could say anything else Midnight cracked her whip. "There sure is alot of talking even though I'm not done explaining!" Both Kirishima and the smug blond let out a small "eep!" as they quieted down. "Thank you, now then. The event lasts 15 minutes. You have 10 minutes to make your teams! Your time starts now! Cementoss start making the bases!"
Instantly the 5 gamers grouped up. The smug blond came back over with his team. "I am Monama Neito. I will thoroughly crush you to dust." He then held his hand out for a handshake. Izuku quickly analysed him.

Izuku stopped Kirishima from shaking his hand and said "Sorry but I'm not falling for that. You just want to copy our quirks."
Monama's jaw dropped as he sputtered out "H-h-how? How do you know my quirk?"
Izuku said "I know everything I need to know about you. I know you copied TetsuTetsu's quirk, i know you were mocked your whole life for never being able to do anything on your own. I was mocked too you know, but that doesn't give you an escuse to be a jerk. So grow up, you got here just like us. We are equals so if you want to make a rivalry then make one that pushes both classes to be greater than before."
Monama paled as he ran off. He told his team "That's it! They think there so much better? We are taking them out! And how does he even know about my quirk? Or my past?"
Izuku just sighed. Uraraka said "That wasn't nice Midoriya."
Izuku looked down in shame. "Your right. I'm sorry, I'll go apologise to him after the event."
Ochako smiled at him. "Good, now lets crush them all!" Her kind smile suddenly turned into an aggressive glare as she said that
The main teams consisted of Team Midoriya: Izuku, Uraraka, Shinso, Kirishima and Yaoyorozu. Team Todoroki: Todoroki, Kaminari, Iida, Tokoyami and Asui. And team Bakugo: Bakugo, Ashido, Sero, Shoji and Ojiro.
The flags were handed out and every team went into the base. Mic started the event.
"3!"
"2!"
"1!"
"GO!"
"Now personally who do you think is going to win my sleepy freind?" Mic asked.
Aizawa sighed then spoke. "While I normally dont condone gambling, I have $50 on team Midoriya."
The rest of the students yelled "NOT COOL MR. AIZAWA!"
While everyone else charged forwards as Izuku made a plan with his team. "So I'm thinking we make a new spell. We aren't allowed to use lockdown so why not make a new spell?"
Kirishima said "No way! Im not hiding in here, im going out to fight! Besides some could probably break through."
Izuku agreed. "Ok, here's the plan. Kirishima you go out and distract them. We will make the new spell to seal up every entrance then I'll fly out to join you and help keep anyone else from going above."
Kirishima nodded and ran out. Izuku focused and tried to make a new spell. He quickly finished it.
[SPELL MADE: EARTH BARRIER
DESCRIPTION: Make a large wall of stone to block off an area as long as it is connected to the ground in some way. The stone is incredible durable. It can be used to fill a hole or entryway.]
Izuku taught the spell to the others and then flew out to block Bakugo from flying over the wall. Mic yelled "AMAZING! IT SEEMS THAT SOMEHOW TEAM MIDORIYSA HAS SEALED OFF THEIR BASE AND IS NOT FIGHTING A DEFENSIVE BATTLE! HOW DO THEY EVEN DO THIS STUFF?"
Aizawa answered his question. "The 5 members of team Midoriya are the students with the grab bag quirks. With the intellect of the two smartest students combined in that group they are able to adapt to almost anything. I banned their lockdown abillity to keep them from easily keeping everyone away from their flags. Now with the main two front line fighters of the group defending as well as every ground entrance sealed it is nearly impossible to entre their base. So that was futile."
Mic then yelled "SHOULD THOSE 5 EVEN BE ALLOWED TO WORK TOGETHER?!?!"
Aizawa snorted. "Like anyone could stop them."
Todoroki glared and made a massive piller of ice to try and knock Izuku out of the sky. Izuku just charged OFA into his leg and slammed it down onto the ice just before it hit him, shattering it. "Nice try Todoroki but I'm not going down that easy!"
Bakugo alse tried to attack him. Using his explosions Bakugo propelled himself towards Izuku. The green haired teen just flew up more and slammed Bakugo down to the ground with a huge punch.
Down below Kirishima was having the time of his life as almost half the other competitors swarmed him and the base. He knocked out one and saw TetsuTetsu staring him down. Both prepared to face off but suddenly before he could evrn activate his quirk Bakugo came hurdleing down screaming and knocked out the silver haired boy.
Kirishima looked up to see Izuku and yelled "MIDORIYA! THAT WAS MY FIGHT!" Only getting a "SORRY!" and laughter in return he just turned towards Kaminari who had just punched him.
"Really dude?" The red head asked.
Kaminari laughed nervously as his punch did nothing to the larger teen, even with the electricity. His laughter was cut off as Kirishima just slammed his fist into his gut and knocked the air out of him.
Todoroki was finished trying to break through the wall and getting nowhere. The teen decided that if he couldnt go through he would go over. He called out to Iida. "Iida! Get ready to go ever the wall! Im making an ice bridge." The speedster nodded and ran up the bridge.
On the other side Iida saw that Shinso, Uraraka and Yaoyorozu were waiting for them. Suddenly a barrage of fire, air and lightning was flying towards them. Todoroki managed to make an ice wall to shield them from the barrage. "Shit! We're pinned down!' He cursed.
Iida said "Something I have been saving, I won't be useful afterwards so make it count. I'm getting you that flag so you need to escape with it."
Before Todoroki could question Iida suddenly had blue flames coming out of his engines. "RECIPRO BURST!" The barrage of attacks stopped as all 3 gamers were shocked by the speed Iida moved at. Iida was back behind the ice wall and handed Todoroki the flag.
"5 MINUTES LEFT!" Mic yelled.
Iida yelled "GO!" and Todoroki made another Ice bridge to escape. As he was running he heard Uraraka yell "MIDORIYA! TODOROKI GOT THE FLAG!" After those words were said Todoroki looked back to see Izuku flying behind him and ran faster but it wasnt enough. Just before Todoroki entered his base Izuku slammed down in front of him.
"I belife you have something that belongs to me." Izuku said as he yanked the flag out of Todoroki's hands.
Mic yelled "OH! AN UPSET TO TEAM MIDORIYA'S VICTORY! WITH 1 MINUTE LEFT ON THE CLOCK CAN MIDORIYA GET HIS FLAG BACK TO HID BASE IN TIME AND WIN?"
Izuku panicked and immediately launched into the sky. Charging OFA into his wings Izuku flew at speeds that almost matched Iida's Recipro Burst. He had just returned the flag to its spot when Mic yelled "TIIIIME!"
The screen showed the winners.
"WE HAVE OUR WINNERS! IN FIRST PLACE IS TEAM MIDORIYA WITH OVER TEN MILLION POINTS! IN SECOND PLACE IS TEAM BAKUGO WITH 6,125 POINTS! IN THIRD IS TEAM TODOROKI WITH 4,275 POINTS! AND FINALLY WE HAVE TEAM TETSUTETSU WITH 2,300 POINTS!"
Midnight cut in. "Unfortunately only one person from team TetsuTetsu can enter. Please choose that member now."
TetsuTetsu was the one who entered. Even if he was knocked out by Bakugo falling on him when he woke up he managed to get their team enough points to move on.
Midnight once again spun the wheel and got the result. "THE FINAL EVENT IS...."
Chapter 9: Intermission
"ONE ON ONE TOURNAMENT!" Midnight called out. This was of course how they finished every year so nobody was suprised. "NOW WE ARE TAKING A HALF HOUR BREAK SO WE CAN MAKE THE BRACKET AND FOR YOU ALL TO HAVE LUNCH."
Before anyone could leave Ojiro and Shoji walked up and Ojiro said "ESCUSE ME."
Midnight turned back to the students and everyone stopped leaving. "Yes?" The R rated heroine asked
The tailed teen said "Both of us are dropping out odf the tournament."
Midnight looked confused and asked "Why are you doing that? This is a huge chance for you!"
Ojiro just looked down so Shoji replied "Neither of us felt like we actually earned this spot. Todoroki and Iida almost made it back to our base with the ten million points and Ashido and Sero are the only reasons we passed."
Midnight said "Oh the passion of youth, gets me turned on. Ok you two can drop out. We will replace you with 2 members from team TetsuTetsu. Please discuss this now."
TetsuTetsu's team started discussing who they wanted to fight in the tournament and who had the best chances of winning. Monama walked up and joined the conversation. After a few minutes Shiozaki and Monama walked up to Midnight. The girl with long green vines for hair and long lower eyelashes said "We will be joining the tournament. The rest of my team decided to step aside for Monama if that is allowed."
From the announcers box Mic, who had the speakers turned off asked "Is that allowed?"
Aizawa shrugged. "Midnights the ref. She gets to decide on things like this. Now if you'll escuse me, Vlad, Snipe and Hound dog all owe me $50."
Mic chuckled and asked "Who did they vote for?"
Aizawa replied "Kendo Itsuka, TetsuTetsu and Shishida Jurota respectively." He then left to collect his money.
Back on the judges stand Midnight said "I will allow it. So Monama will replace Shoji and Shiozaki will replace Ojiro. Now then, everyone go to lunch as we make the brackets."
Before Izuku could leave he was tapped on the shoulder. Turning around he saw Todoroki. "Oh hey Todoroki, what do you need?"
The hybrid quirk user just said "We need to talk privately."
Uraraka tried to argue. "Midoriya we need lunch to be at our best for the tournament. Can't you talk later?"
Izuku said "Save me a seat Uraraka. I'm sure this won't take too long."
She reluctantly nodded. Izuku gave her a bright smile and said "Thank you. Lead the way Todoroki."
Uraraka blushed at the smile and thought 'It's that same feeling again. Why do I always feel so strange around him?' She decided to try and figure it out at lunch. A certain pink skinned girl saw the blush and decided to tease the gravity manipulator at lunch because she knew what that blush meant.
IN AN EMPTY TUNNEL
Todoroki was just staring at Izuku. "Um... Hello? You said you wanted to talk?" Izuku asked.
Todoroki stayed silent. "We're gonna miss lunch." More silence. "Listen start talking or I'll leave."
Todoroki finaly spoke. "I was overpowered. Nobody, not even your own team who know your full capabilities felt it but me. You overpowered me to the point i almost broke my oath to never use me left side in combat."
Izuku looked confused. "Todoroki where are you going with this?"
The teen in question looked down at his left hand and watched as smoke curled up from it. "What I'm saying is that the aura you had back then seemed familiar. Almost exactly like All Might's. So what I'm asking is, Midoriya are you All Might's secret love child?"
Izuku couldn't help but laugh at the idea and think about how wrong he was. "Oh god! That's a good one Todoroki. But no, I'm not All Might's kid. That's not it at all. How did you even come to that?"
Todoroki narrowed his eyes at Izuku's word choice. "It's true that your powers are quite different, but he pays more attention to you in class and your quirk is a superstrength quirk that can almost rival his. Also, that's not it at all? So I take it you do have a connection after all but you cant talk about it."
'Crap. I really need to be careful about that.' Izuku thought. "Todoroki, why do you refuse to use your fire?"
Todoroki shook his head. "It's not my fire. Tell me Midoriya, have you ever heard of quirk marriages?" Izuku nodded. "Then you know that they were outlawed decades ago."
Another nod. "Well my father is Endeavor as I'm sure you know. He has enough money and influence to make everyone look the other way about most things. He bought my mother from her family and used her for her ice quirk and get a child with both quirks."
Izuku looked shocked but Todoroki continued. "After 4 attempts he finally got me. He abused my mother for years and put me through hellish "training" the moment my quirk manifested. My mother finally broke and poured boiling water on my face. That bastard acted like he never did anything and put her in a mental hospital for damaging his "perfect creation". So to prove that I don't need him and he doesn't control me I will beat you and win this tournament with only my ice."
Izuku finally said "Your an idiot. First you say it's not your fire it's Endeavors then you say the ice is yours. After that you act like only using half your quirk won't hurt you. Plus you compared me to All Might just so you could prove your better than him even with half your power."
Todoroki tried to say something but Izuku wouldn't let him get a word in. "You say you will prove he doesn't control you? Well by doing all of this you let him control every aspect of your life. You won't win with half your strength Todoroki."
Todoroki glared. "No, I dont need his fire and i will fight with only my ice."
Izuku walked away. Turning around he had a sad look in his eyes. "Then you will lose. I'm sorry to say this, but as you are now you won't be a hero ever." He then left without another word.
Todoroki looked shocked and Bakugo, who was spying on them, thought 'Ok I definitely heard some things I shouldn't have. But it does put some things into perspective.'
IN THE LUNCH ROOM
Uraraka had just sat down with her food when Ashido sat down beside her. "Mina? I'm saving that seat for Midoriya."
The pink girl grinned and replied "I know, I'm just here to talk about that blush you had earlier. What was that about?"
Uraraka blushed again and said "I dont know what your talking about."
Ashido put on a fake scowl as she said "Don't lie to me Uraraka. You have a crush on him don't you?""
Uraraka sighed and said "I don't know how i feel about him. Sure he's amazing but we just met not too long ago."
Ashido's expression softened. "Ok then let's find out. Let's play a little game. I'm gonna and a question and you need to answer. Sound ok?"
Uraraka reluctantly agreed so Ashido asked "When he enters a room you're in do you feel your heart beat faster?" Uraraka nodded slowly, a small blush on her cheeks. "Do you blush any time he smiles at you?" Another nod and a slightly bigger blush. "Do you think of ways to make him smile more in your free time?" Another nod and an even bigger blush. "Ok last question. What do you find amazing about him?"
Uraraka quickly said "Everything, when we first met I saved him from falling on his face. Later that same day he saved me from a giant robot in the entrance exam. Then when i got to meet him he was so kind and smart. And his nervous muttering is adorable." Her cheeks were now practically glowing red at her confession.
Ashido was laughing as she said "Oh god! You have it bad for him don't you? That's adorable."
Uraraka pouted making Ashido laugh harder. Mentally sighing she thought 'Mina's right. I do have a crush on him.'
Little did she know she muttered her realization. Ashido heard it and said "Great! Now that you admit it what are you going to do about it?"
Uraraka's blush now covered her whole face as she said "Nothing!"
Ashido stated booing. "BOOOO! NO! You need to tell him!"
Uraraka tried to argue but Ashido continued. "If you don't tell him then this will just keep eating you up inside. Even if he rejects you then you can move on."
Uraraka realised Ashido was right but that she had to do something before she even thought about confessing. "You're right Mina. I'll confess but first there is something I need to do." Suddenly she got another quest.

DETAILS: Beat Bakugo Katsuki in the sports festival one on one tournament. (Bracket has been fixxed to pit you two against eachother.)

Uraraka immediately hit accept after reading the quest. Ashido asked "What do you mean? And why were you tapping the air?"
Uraraka replied "That was a quest. And as for what it is that I need to do, thats private."
Ashido whined so Uraraka told her about a reward. "One rewards is a possible date wirh Izuku." Ashido sealed and gave her a quick hug before running off as Izuku arrived.
"What was that about?" He asked.
Uraraka replied "Nothing too important. Let's just focus on the tournament." Izuku agreed and the two chatted while eating lunch.
Chapter 10: Sports Festival Final Round - Part 1
The 16 finalists had just walked back into the stadium. Everyone else were in their seats, waiting for the tournament to begin. Present Mic's voice came from the speaker. "HELLO EVERYBODY! WELCOME BACK TO THE FINAL EVENT OF THE SPORTS FESTIVAL! WE NOW HAVE OUR BRACKETS FOR THE FINAL EVENT! IF YOU WOULD, TURN YOUR ATTENTION TO THE BIG SCREEN!"
The big screen showed everyone the brackets for the tournament.
Round 1: Midoriya Izuku VS Monama Neito
Round 2: Todoroki Shoto VS Sero Hanta.
Round 3: Kaminari Denki VS Shiozaki Ibara
Round 4: Iida Tenya VS Ashido Mina
Round 5: Bakugo Katsuki VS Uraraka Ochako
Round 6: Kirishima Ejiro VS TetsuTetsu TetsuTetsu
Round 7: Tokoyami Fumikage VS Yaoyorozu Momo
Round 8: Shinso Hitoshi VS Asui Tsuyu
Monama saw who he was fighting and laughed. "HAHAHAHA! I have to fight class 1a scum? This will be an easy victory for me!" Izuku just ignored the cocky blond for now.
TetsuTetsu shouted "OH COME ON! OUR QUIRKS ARE THE SAME! OUR FIGHT WILL BE REDUNDANT!"
Kirishima smiled knowingly and cryptically replied "You never know man."
Todoroki just silently looked at Sero, who was not looking forward to his fight.
Kaminari tried to flirt with Shiozaki but didn't get anywhere with it.
Iida said "Let's have a fair match Ashido."
The pink girl gave a wide smile and replied "Looking forward to it Iida."
Tokoyami looked at Yaoyorozu and said "Revelry in the dark." The rich girl just looked confused at what her bird headed classmate meant.
Shinso smirked and called out "Let's have a good match Asui." The frog girl only nodded, not wanting to get caught in his mind control.
Midnight walked out onto her post. "I will be the judge for these matches. I will stop the match if they go to far and seem too dangerous. You win by knock-out, ring-out or forfeit. Cementoss is finishing up the arena now."
Cementoss finished the arena then made himself a chair. "If any attacks are too dangerous I will stop them."
Mic called out on the announcement set "ALL RIGHT LITTLE LISTENERS! MIDORIYA IZUKU AND MONAMA NEITO, GO TO THE WAITING ROOMS TO PREPARE FOR THE FIRST MATCH. EVERYONE ELSE HEAD TO YOUR SEATS IN THE STANDS!"
Izuku walked off the stadium towards his waiting room. Monama did the same and everyone else ran off towards the stands. As he was waiting he got a message over the party chat.
[PARTY CHAT:
RED RIOT: Beat that cocky jerk's ass Midobro.
YAOYOROZU M: While I won't use such crude words I agree. Beat him.
SHINSO H: I wonder how his quirk will work on you since you have more than one.
URARAKA O: Who cares? Don't lose Midoriya.
MIDORIYA I: Got it guys, I'll beat him. Gotta go, they just called me out.]
Izuku walked off towards the stadium. Exiting through the doorway he saw Monama walking towards the platform too. Mic announced them both.
"IN THIS CORNER WE HAVE MIDORIYA IZUKU FROM 1A, THE KID WITH A MILLION TRICKS UP HIS SLEEVE. AND IN THE OTHER CORNER WE HAVE MONAMA NEITO FROM 1B, ABLE TO COPY ANY QUIRK FOR HIMSELF!"
They both stepped up and Midnight asked "Are both fighters ready?" Getting two nods in return she said "Ok then. Start!"
Monama rushed Izuku and grabbed his arm. Izuku could have dodged it but decided to let the arrogant blond copy his quirks to see what would happen.
Monama said "Ha! Now i have your quirk!" He tried to shoot a fireball but nothing happened. The blond then tried to grow wings but stayed the same. Punching Izuku showed that he was stronger than average. "What did you do? Why is it I only have a little bit of increased strength but you can do so much else?"
Izuku realised what happened. "I guess you can only copy one quirk at a time Monama. Its too bad I have 3." He then sprouted wings and shot a fireball at Monama, knocking him off balance. Green lightning arced around his arm as Izuku charged OFA into his arm at 20%.
Monama yelled "NO! YOU CANT HAVE MULTIPLE QUIRKS! THATS NOT FAI-" His shouts were cut off as Izuku launched forward and slammed his fist into Monama's gut, knocking the breath out of him and launching him to the other end of the stadium. "You cheater..." Monama said as he passed out against the now cracked wall of the arena.
Midnight called the match in Izuku's favor as medical bots loaded Monama onto a strecher to take to recovery girl.
Mic yelled "AND IT LOOKDS LIKE THIS MATCH ENDED IN ONE BIG PUNCH FROM OUR RESIDENT DRAGON BOY! STEP ASIDE RYUKYU, WE HAVE A NEW DRAGON IN TOWN! THE WINNER IS MIDORIYA!"
Izuku left and went to his seat. When he got there Uraraka congratulated him. "Great job Midoriya! I knew you could do it!" Bakugo just scoffed at her praise of Izuku, like he couldn't belive Izuku had the nerve to win.
A few students from 1B entered the 1A seating area, TetsuTetsu, a girl with teal eyes and orange hair in a ponytail, and a girl with long green hair and sharp teeth. TetsuTetsu was leading them. "Hey guys, this is Kendo Itsuka and Tokage Setsuna. Kendo is our class president. She wanted to ask Midoriya a question."
Izuku stepped forward. "Yes?"
Kendo asked "Monama's quirk is copy, he copied your quirk so why couldn't he do all the things you can?"
Izuku instantly answered "Monama can only copy one quirk at a time. He got my weak superstrength quirk."
Kendo and Tokage looked suprised. "You have more than one quirk?" Izuku nodded. Kendo asked "How many do you have?"
Izuku hesitated for a minute before saying "I have an enhancer quirk, a weak superstrength quirk, a dragon quirk and an elemental manipulation quirk."
All 3 1B students froze in shock. Tokage then asked "Wait? What about quirk overload? I thought it was impossible for anyone to have more than 2 quirks because the human body can't handle the strain of more."
Izuku just shrugged. "No idea. I guess I'm just immune to it."
TetsuTetsu laughed and said "I guess your just special like that. Well we should go. See you guys later."
Once they left Iida asked "Why did you lie about your quirks?"
Izuku answered "THE GAMER is a secret. Plus superpower is an enhancer quirk. That's why I'm the only one who can do the green colored magic. That's me using superpower."
Jiro asked "Then why that crazy superstrength? And why green?"
Izuku answered "That's me enhancing my body. As for why it's green i have no idea."
Kaminari asked "Wait, you 4 don't seem suprised, why?"
Uraraka rolled her eyes like the answer was obvious. "We already knew. We have the same powers, you really think we wouldn't know eachothers abilities?"
Sato said "Yeah that's fair."
Just then Mic said "ALRIGHT! IT'S ALMOST TIME FOR THE NEXT MATCH! SERO HANTA AND TODOROKI SHOTO GET TO THE STADIUM!"
After a few minutes they both came onto the feild. Kirishima noted "Hey guys, is it just me or does Todoroki look angry?"
The moment the match started a massive glacier appeared in the arena, almost touching the stands. Asui instantly fell uncouncious from the cold. Izuku saw this and said "As soon as the match ends lets get rid of the ice."
The other 4 gamers nodded. As soon as the match ended each one let loose a torrent of flames that melted the ice. It seemed like Todoroki was also helping to melt it as it dissapeared from both sides. "Keep it up guys. I need to go have a little chat with Todoroki." Izuku then formed his wings and flew off.
Todoroki had just finished melting Sero free when a hand grabbed his shoulder. A voice he recognized as Izuku's said "Come with me." Before he had a chance to respond Izuku took flight again and dragged him off.
Present Mic said "UHHH, TODOROKI IS THE WINNER. IT SEEMS LIKE SOMEONE HELPED TAKE CARE OF THE GLACIER AND MIDORIYA HAS KIDNAPPED HIM FOR A BIT. WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET THE NEXT MATCH STARTED SOON FOLKS. JUST HOLD ON."
Izuku landed far down the tunnel so nobody could see or hear them. "Now then Todoroki," Izuku started "What the hell were you thinking! You could have seriously hurt someone or worse!"
Todoroki said "I stopped the ice before it hit the stands."
Izuku glared. "That's not what I'm talking about. Some people are sensitive to cold. You knocked out Asui instantly with that. Who knows who else could have been hurt. Now tell me why you used such a big attack."
Todoroki looked suprised. "I'm sorry. I was angry at my father. He was pushing me to use my fire and i got mad."
Izuku calmed down slightly. "Remember what I said? You don't want him to control your life but that's exactly what he's doing. By letting constantly fighting and rejecting him he is what drives your every action."
Todoroki glared. "No! My life is my own. I will never use his fire and he will never control me." He then walked off.
Izuku sighed and said to himself "Fine, if he refuses to listen to words I'll just have to beat it into him that he needs to start using his full power."
Izuku made it back to his seat just as Iida and Ashido were called onto the field. "Hey guys I'm back. Did I miss anything?"
Uraraka shook her head. "Nope, you have you little talk with Todoroki?"
Izuku nodded. "For right now he's safe. I fight him next round so if he tries to bury half the stadium in ice I won't hold back. There are too many people here for him to lose control or go overboard."
Iida asked "Wait, does that mean you have been holding back in our training?"
All the gamers laughed and Izuku said "You have no idea. That's why all of us do our own training. We don't actually get much stronger from fighting any of you."
Ashido asked "Well then do we have any hope of winning the sports festival?"
Yaoyorozu nodded. "Yes, the rules of this tournament make it so you all can win if you try hard enough."
Asui, who had just woken up from her forced nap, asked "What happened? One minute Todoroki and Sero were about to fight and the next your all talking."
Izuku said "Todoroki made a huge glacier. I'm guessing that since you're part frog you went into hibernation or something like that due to the cold."
Before anyone could say anything else about that Iida said "Ashido, our match should start soon. Weneed to get to the waiting rooms."
"Crap! Let's go!" Ashido exclaimed then ran off.
Izuku watched the two speed off to the waiting rooms. Asui said "Anyways, yeah i do hibernate, well sort of. If I get cold I get drowsy. If i get too cold i fall asleep until I get warmed up. Unlike a frog however I still need to eat and drink during this time but I'm unable to so it can be dangerous for me."
Uraraka gasped and Izuku started muttering to himself about how to solve that problem and pulled out a notebook. "Maybeasuitwithsomekindofthermalgeltoregulateherbodytemperaturebecauseshehibernatesifshescoldandherskinmightdryoutifshegetstoohotbuthowwouldthatwor-" Uraraka gently shook him out of his thoughts.
"Midoriya, you were muttering again." She said.
Izuku blushed sheepishly and apologized. "Sorry, I kinda really get into quirk analysis. Then i start thinking out loud and lose touch with my surroundings."
Uraraka giggled. "That's ok. It's one of the things that make you, you."
Izuku looked suprised. "Your not creeped out about it?"
Most of the class shook their heads. Uraraka asked "Why would we be?"
Izuku looked sheepish again as he replied "Because at one point I got so bad about analysing quirks in front of people, specifically weaknesses, that the therapist that helped the people I traumatised started calling it Midoriya Syndrome."
The class laughed a little at the joke. "The nerd isn't kidding. Even pros visited that therapist after they met Deku." Or actual statement.
Kirishima looked completely at a loss for words. Shinso asked "Can you give us an example?"
Izuku nodded then flipped to Bakugo's page. "Name: Bakugo Katsuki. Quirk: Explosion. He sweats a nitroglycerin like liquid that explodes with even the smallest spark, which he can produce. The strength of an explosion varies depending on how much sweat is ignited. It should be noted that while all sweat is different from normal, only the sweat on his hands explode. The more he sweats the more powerful his explosions are."
Uraraka patted him on the shoulder and said "Dont forget to breath Midoriya."
Izuku nodded and continued. "Weaknesses include dehydration, water and the cold. Due to the high amount of sweat produced dehydration is very possible. If you heat him up enough to the point where the sweat evaporates and he can no longer produce more the quirk will no longer function and he may pass out from dehydration. Water can dilute or wash away the sweat making it harder or impossible to ignite the sweat and will weaken any explosion that is created. The cold, if extreme enough could freeze the sweat, making it impossible to ignite and the body will stop producing sweat as a means to keep from freezing."
Everyone in class just stared in shock. Bakugo could be heard muttering "Still fucking creepy."
Before anyone could say anything they were all broken out of the conversation by Present Mic saying "ALL RIGHT FOLKS! IT IS TIME FOER THE THIRD MATCH! IN THIS CORNER IS THE BLUE HAIRED SPEEDSTER HIMSELF SON- I MEAN IIDA TENYA! AND IN THE OTHER CORNER WE HAVE THE GIRL WHO VERY WELL MAY BE AN ALIEN, ASHIDO MINA!" Aizawa's exasperated sigh could be heard after Mic's introductions.
Asui and Iida each stepped into the ring. Midnight asked "Fighters ready?"
"Yep!" Ashido said in conformation as she started streaching.
"Yes ma'am!" Iida said, also preparing to move.
"All right then, FIGHT!" Midnight called. Iida rushed forwards and tried to kick at Ashido, who jumped in the air and dodged the attack. Launching a kick of her own, Iida was just fast enough to avoid it.
Iida decided to change strategies and started circling the arena. Ashido giggled. "Iida your so fast!" She called out. "I guess im just gonna have to hit the arena and trip you!" She then started throwing balls of acid at Iida, missing each time but the balls then stuck to the arena, being weak enough to only cause minor burns and sticky enough to trap people in them.
"That won't work Ashido!" Iida shouted as he ran, looking for an opening. "Recipro Burst!" He suddenly turned towards Ashido and blasted forwards at speeds few could follow. Grabbing the pink girl's shoulders Iida kept pushing until she was out of bounds.
"ASHIDO MINA IS OUT OF BOUNDS!" Midnight called out. "IIDA TENYA IS THE WINNER!"
Ashido pouted slightly as she lost. Present Mic yelled "ALL RIGHT! GIVE IT UP FOR IIDA! THAT MATCH WAS TOO FAST! BLINK AND YOU MISSED IT FOLKS."
"GO Iida!" Izuku cheered. Most of the class were cheering for both their classmates.
Kaminari stood up as Ashido and Iida left the field. "I guess it's my turn. Wish me luck."
Jiro said "You're gonna need it."
Kaminari looled hurt. "How dare you." He then ran off to the waiting room.
Iida had just arrived and said "That wasn't nice Jiro, apologise."
Mina chimed in "Yeah, we should have teased him together!" Iida tried to scold the two girls about how they shouldn't be rude to others but he was so serious about it the two were just laughing.
Mic screamed "IT IS TIME FOR THE FOURTH MATCH! WILL THE COMPETITORS PLEASE COME TO THE ARENA!"
"I hope Kaminari wins this." Ashido said.
"Oh rooting for him are you?" Hagakure teased.
Ashido laughed and pointed out "Gotta root for our classmate."
Hagakure replied "True, true."
Mic announced "HERE THEY ARE EVERYONE! FROM CLASS 1A, THE MOST ELECTRIFYING STUDENT IN THE FIRST YEAR CLASS, WE HAVE KAMINARI DENKI! AND FROM 1B WE HAVE THE BEST BOTANIST IN THE SCHOOL, SHE HAS TO BE WITH THAT HEAD OF HAIR, SHIOZAKI IBARA!"
Kaminari called out "Hey, how about I take you out for ice cream to cheer you up after your loss." He winked at her.
Shiozaki said "Pride and lust. I will clense you of these sins."
Midnight asked "Both fighters ready?" Getting a nod from both students she yelled "FIGHT!"
Kaminari instantly yelled "ONE MILLION VOLT INDESCRIMANENT DISCHARGE!" Lightning raced across the whole arena, including towards Shiozaki.
The vine headed girl tuned her back to the lightning, clasped her hands in a praying motion and stuck her vines into the ground then disconnected them from her head. The vines blocked the lightning and dispersed it into the ground.
With her remaining vines she grabbed Kaminari, who couldn't dodge due to his mostly fried brain, and gently set him out of bounds. "I belive i win and it is you who needs cheering up."
With that said Midnight called the match and Ibara walked off as medical bots brought Kaminari to recovery girl.
Back in the stands Monama, who just woke up from recovery girl's office, yelled at class 1A. "OH IT SEEMS THE LOWLY CLASS 1B HAS DEFEATED ONE OF YOUR CLASSMATES! HOW DID THIS HAPPEN IF YOU ARE ALL SO MUCH BETTER THAN US?"
Izuku sighed. "You know, I was gonna apologize for being rude during the second event, now I don't think I will."
Monama laughed as he saisd "YOU ONLYBEAT ME BECAUSE I COPIED YOUR WEAKEST QUIRK! NEXT TIME I-"
Izuku cut him off. "Next time you will lose before you even copy one. I let you copy my quirk to see what would happen. Next time I'll just knock you out before you get to do anything."
Monama was about to argue about how he was better more but Kendo dragged him off. "Sorry about him. I'm trying to get him to see that this stupid competition between classes is going way too far but he won't listen."
Shinso replied "No worries, we're still training our feral blond too."
Bakugo jumped up and yelled "THE FUCK YOU SAY EYEBAGS?"
Shinso rolled his eyes and said "Sorry I don't speak angry pomeranian."
Bakugo yelled "THAT'S IT IM GONNA KILL YO-" but was taken over by Shinso who ordered him "You will sit quietly until I say otherwise." Bakugo sat down but everyone could tell he was pissed even if his face was blank.
Uraraka said "Let him go Shinso. Our match is next and we need to get to the waiting room." She then walked off.
Shinso released his control over Bakugo. "Just wait eyebags. You better make it to the semi finals so I can crush you myself or I'll kill you." He then left without another word.
Shinso rolled his eyes at the explosive blond. He then turned to Izuku. "Like he's gonna beat Uraraka."
Izuku nodded then got a text. Seeing it was from Uraraka he thought 'Odd, usually she talkes through the party chat since we just have to think to type messages there.'
Looking at the text it read "Hey Midoriya. Can you meet me in my waiting room after the match? Also keep this private."
Izuku sent back a replay saying he would then waited for the match to start. Soon Mic called them both to the field. 'BAKUGO KATSUKI AND URARAKA OCHAKO GET TO THE FEILD PLEASE."
Both students quickly got to the field and stepped onto the arena. Mic announced them both as they walked forwards. "IN THIS CORNER WE HAVE THE EXPLOSIVE BLOND OF 1A, THAT'S NOT THE FACE OF A NORMAL PERSON, IT'S BAKUGO KATSUKI!"
Bakugo yelled "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT ABOUT MY FACE?!?!"
"AND IN THE OTHER CORNER IT'S THE GIRL WHO DEFIES GRAVITY, SHE'S MY PERSONAL FAVORITE TO WIN THE SPORTS FESTIVAL, URARAKA OCHAKO!" Aizawa had just given up on trying to stop the stupid introductions.
Midnight asked "Are both fighters ready?" Bakugo growled and got ready to fight. Uraraka nodded and prepared to cast a spell. "FIGHT!"
The instant midnight started the fight Bakugo blasted forwards to hit Uraraka. Uraraka simply raised her hand and fired a blast of water, hitting the blond and pushing him back.
"Now Bakugo," She said "This is just a bit of payback for those you bullied." She fired another blast of water that stopped the explosion he tried to fire completely.
Bakugo rushed forwarfs and led with a right hook that Uraraka easily side stepped. She then punched him in the gut and fired an air cannon sending Bakugo flying back to the other side of the arena, just barely staying in bounds.
"DID DEKU PUT YOU UP TO THIS?" Bakugo shouted. "DID HE SEND HIS OBEDIENT LITTLE BITCH AFTER ME?"
Uraraka glared at him. "You know, at first I was doing this to get revenge for him. Now I'm going to kick your ass so hard you won't leave the nurses office for the rest of the day." She then casted speed up and rushed him. Charging another air cannon she slipped behind Bakugo and blasted him to the other end of the arena.
Bakugo then got up and tried to blast towards her but the water covering him made it impossible for him to ignite his sweat. "THE ONLY REASON YOUR STILL ALIVE RIGHT NOW IS BECAUSE THIS WATER KEEPS ME FROM MAKING EXPLOSIONS TO KILL YOU!"
Uraraka sighed. "I was hoping that this beat down would teach you humility but i was wrong. So now I'm going to end it. WHIRLPOOL!" She shot a large swirling mass of water at Bakugo that trapped him.
She used the frozen fist spell and made the whirlpool throw Bakugo at her. As he was flying, still disoriented from the spinning she slammed her fist into his chin in a powerful uppercut that knocked him out and fractured his jaw.
Midnight was gaping at the one sided beatdown and brutality from the normally kind girl. She also heard about the bullying and made a mental note to bring it up to Nezu later. "Uraraka Ochako wins by knockout!"
Mic announced "AND IN A TOTAL ONE SIDED BEATDOWN URARAKA SHOWS HER SKILL AND POWER! I'M NOT SURE HOW SHE DID ALL THAT BUT IT WAS INCREDIBLE!"
Uraraka ran off to the waiting room to wait for Izuku to show up but got a call from her dad. "Hi daddy! Are you and mom watching the sports festival?"
Her father's voice came from the phone. "Yes we are. You did amazing in that fight, but I have to ask. How did you do all that? You shot water and sent that boy flying around without using your zero gravity quirk."
Uraraka hesitated. "I'll tell you later. I'm sorry I hid my new powers from you but it was a big secret. I'm not the only one who can do this stuff after all."
Her father asked "What do you mean?"
A knock at the door inturupted them. Izuku said "Uraraka? You said you needed to talk to me?"
Uraraka quickly said "Sorry daddy I need to go. I'll see you tonight ok?" She then hung up and opened the door. "Hey Midoriya. Come in."
Izuku stepped into the waiting room. "So what did you need to talk about?"
Uraraka blushed slightly as she replied "Izuku, I've been thinking about us. We first met when you saved me from that giant robot. Then we both get in and are in the same class. So much has happened and all of it has drawn us closer. What I'm saying is, I like you alot. Will you go on a date with me?"
Izuku couldn't belive it. The girl he was crushing on was asking her out. "Yes! I would love to Uraraka."
Ochako smiled brightly. "Please, call me Ochako, Izuku."
"Ok then Ochako. So thim means we're dating right?" Ochako nodded. "Then that means i can do this." Izuku then leaned forwards and gave her a small kiss on the lips.
Ochako started blushing harder. "That was my first kiss..." She mumbled.
Izuku pulled back a bit. "Im sorry did I go to fa-" He was cut off by Ochako pulling him into a deeper kiss.
They froze when they heard the door open and Yaoyorozu walk in. The rich girl stared at the new couple for a minute. "I saw nothing but you should be more careful if you want to keep this a secret for a while longer."
Ochako and Izuku quickly separated, thanked Yaoyorozu for keeping the secret and then ran off. Once they were alone Izuku asked "So do you want to keep this a secret or not?"
Ochako thought for a moment then answered "I say we don't say anything about it but we don't hide it either."
Izuku nodded just as Mic announced the next match. "We should go watch." He said. The two then ran off towards their seats. They got back just in time to see Midnight start the match.
Yaoyorozu quickly made a staff and grabbed the sheild from her inventory. She reacted just in time to block Tokoyami's dark shadow. Striking back with her staff did very little. 'Wait! If he is really a shadow then light should weaken him.' She dropped her staff then shouted out "HOLY CHAINS!" and shot out chains made of glowing yellow light. Dark shadow just barely managed to dodge them but fled from the light. "I was right! PHOTON BEAM!"
This time when dark shadow dodged the light it shot right towards Tokoyami and hit him in the chest hard enough to knock him out of the arena.
"Yaoyorozu Momo wins the match by ring out!" Midnight called the match.
Mic said "WELL IT LOOKS LIKE WE ONLY HAVE TWO MORE MATCHES TO GO FOLKS! WITH YAOYOROZU WINNING AGAINST THE DARK SIDE SHE MOVES ON AND SO DO WE!"
Yaoyorozu helped Tokoyami up and the two walked back to the stands.
Kirishima stood up and walked away saying "My match is next. I better get down there. Wish me luck. This fight is gonna be so manly!"
He then started walking off but turn back as Izuku said "Hey Kirishima, you don't need luck."
Shinso chimed in "Kick his ass so i can kick yours next round." Asui croaked in annoyance of being written off like that but otherwise stayed quiet.
Kirishima smirked and nodded then ran off. Jiro started laughing a bit. Uraraka asked "What's so funny Jiro?"
The punk girl answered "TetsuTetsu just said the excact same thing as Kirishima! Its like there twins or something."
Uraraka giggled a bit too. "Your right that is funny. Too bad Kirishima is stronger than TetsuTetsu."
Monama, who had come to antagonize the class again, cried out "WHAT! YOU CLASS A LOSERS THINK THAT THAT RED HAIRED FOOL WILL BE ABLE TO BREAK THROUGH TETSUTETSU'S UNBEATABLE DEFENCE?"
Izuku rolled his eyes. "Monama, how about you stay and watch. Then we can see who is right."
Ashido chimed in "I have $50 on Kiri. I dont like how you called him a fool."
Monama smirked cockily. "Your on. Like TetsuTetsu would ever lose." They shook on it and Mina was grinning savagely at the easy money.
Mic announced them both as they entered the field. "THIS NEXT MATCGH WILL BE SOMETHING SPECIAL FOLKS! TWO MASTERS OF DEFENCE FACING OFF! WILL THE HARD AS ROCK KIRISHIMA EJIROU MANAGE TO STAY STRONG, OR WILL THE STRONG AS STEEL TETSUTETSU TETSUTETSU WIN THE DAY? LET'S FIND OUT!" Aizawa just tuned out Mic and his stupid introductions.
Kirishima and TetsuTetsu both cracked their knuckles in anticipation. Midnight asked "Are you both ready?"
TetsuTetsu said "OH YEAH!" and slammed his fists together.
Kirishima answered with a wide grin and a "LET'S DO THIS!"
Midnight yelled "START!" and both teens activated their quirks and ran forwards. Kirishima was slightly faster and met TetsuTetsu on the other side of the arena. Both punched the other in the chest and both slid back a foot.
"Your strong!" TetsuTetsu grinned at the praise. "Guess that means I don't have to hold back!" His grin faulteted at Kirishima let loose a barrage of punches. TetsuTetsu tried to do the same but was too slow to match the punches. He took a hit to the jaw and was knocked back a few feet.
"Damn! What kind of training do you do?" TetsuTetsu asked. "Those hits hurt." He rubbed his jaw. The steel coated teen then rushed forwards and landed a solid hit on Kirishima's chest but the red head didn't even flinch.
Kirishima grinned "The kind you will never be able to replicate! Midobro hits way harder than that so you'll have to do better." He pulled back his fist and slammed it into TetsuTetsu who could just barely raise his arms to block and was pushed back.
Kirishima continued to speak. "Now the others like to use fancy tricks and ranged attacks to win fights. But I prefer to do this." Before TetsuTetsu could respond Kirishima lit his hands with bright orange flames.
Mic called out "IT LOOKS LIKE KIRISHIMA IS TURNING UP THE HEAT!"
TetsuTetsu asked "How are you doing that? I thought youer quirk was like mine!"
Kirishima replied "Oh it is, it's just not my only quirk! I'm like Midobro. Let's see how you handle my full power!" Kirishima launched another barrage of punches. This time they were too strong for TetsuTetsu to block and too fast to dodge so he took the hits and forced his quirk to stay active.
Kirishima dropped his fire and let TetsuTetsu recover. "Now for one last trick! LIGHTNING FIST!" Both of Kirishima's fists started crackling with yellow electricity. He slammed both hands into TetsuTetsu's chest, causing the battered teen to be blasted away by a huge bolt of lightning.
Up in the stands Kaminari asked "Wait he can use lightning?"
Izuku nodded. "So can we. See." The four gamers present coated their hands with lightning.
Kaminari then asked "Wait, does that make me irrelevant?" Nobody answered. "Guys?" Silence. "GUYS!"
Midnight called the match in Kirishima's favor and Mic called out "NOW THAT WAS AN ELECTRIFYING FINISH! KIRISHIMA EJIRO MOVES ON TO THE SECOND ROUND!"
Kirishima then helped up his competitor. "Sorry I took you down so hard but I wanted to put on a show."
TetsuTetsu laughed. "It's all good dude. That last attack manly as hell! Also you said that Midoriya hits harder?"
Kirishima nodded. Slinging TetsuTetsu's arm around his shoulder he replied "Yep. I'll tell you about it. Oh and let me help you with the damage from those hits. HEAL!" Kirishima's hands shone with a bright light and TetsuTetsu instantly felt better.
The two had just entered the tunnel when TetsuTetsu pulled his arm away and stood on his own "That's incredible! Can Midoriya heal too?"
Kirishima said "Yep, so can Shinso, Uraraka and Yaoyorozu. But Uraraka is the best at it. She's what you would call our party's healer but I'm no slouch either."
TetsuTetsu went wide eyed at that. "That's incredible! Now just how hard can Midoriya hit?"
Kirishima smirked as he answered "You know those Zero Pointers from the entrance exam?" TetsuTetsu nodded. "He broke it in one hit. Too bad that it destroyed his arm in the process. His enhancer quirk is too much for his body at full power so he constantly holds it back to avoid breaking his bones and killing us with it."
TetsuTetsu's jaw dropped. "Dude is there any way I can get him to help me toughen up my quirk?"
Kirishima laughed a bit. "Maybe but we will do it together. Trust me, Midobro is super fast and strong. He can easily take us both on no problem." TetsuTetsu cheered in anticipation.
Up in the stands Monama was gaping. Ashido tapped his shoulder. "You lost, now pay up."
Monama argued "No! You tricked me! That's not fair!"
Ashido glared. "Stop whining! You agreed to a bet without all the info and lost. Now give me my damn money."
Monama grumbled about how unfair it was and dug $50 dollars out of his wallet.
Ashido snatched it up. "Easy money! Now run along."
Monama stormed away angrily and Kirishima showed up. "What's wrong with him?"
Ashido grinned. "He lost a bet. Nice job down there Kiri." Shinso and Asui left for the waiting room silently.
Kirishima smiled. "Thanks Mina. It was a fun fight. Oh by the way, Midobro do you mind helping me and TetsuTetsu train with our quirks? You are the hardest hitter here so it would really help."
Izuku thought for a moment and, considering his date with Ochako, replied "Maybe. It depends on when you want me to. I already have some plans but when they ate isn't really set."
This caught Ashido's attention and she saw a chance to tease others. "Oh? You have plans? Like perhaps a date?"
Izuku nodded. "Yep I have a date but we haven't really discussed where we want to go or what we want to do."
Ashido looked slightly suprised as she asked "Who's the lucky lady?" Izuku just smiled slightly and didn't answer. "Oh c'mon! Tell me already!" Ashido whined. Izuku shook his head.
Before anyone could say anything else Mic said "THUS IS THE FINAL MATCH FOR THE FIRST ROUND! NEXT WE MOVE ONTO THE QUARTER FINALS! BUT FIRST, WE HAVE THE TIRED TEEN THAT MAY VERY WELL BE AIZAWA'S KID, WHO KNOWS WHAT HE CAN DO, IT'S SHINSO HITOSHI! AND WE ALSO HAVE EVERYONE'S FAVORITE FROG, SHE MAY BE KERMIT'S COUSIN, IT'S ASUI TSUYU!"
Both Fighters stepped into the ring. Midnight asked "Bith fighters ready?" Getting a nod from both she said "FIGHT!"
Shinso called out "I don't supose you will let me win without fighting back?"
Asui's answer was to launch a flying kick that Shinso barely managed to dodge. "Fine," Shinso grumbled "the hard way it is."
He blasted the frog with water, soaking her thoroughly. "Asui asked "Really? Getting me wet is your plan?"
Shinso just fired of a freeze Ray, the cold from it making Asui shiver. "Oh." She croaked out. Asui then resorted to hopping around the arena to dodge the icy blasts and get closer. Due to the water on her her movements were getting slower and slower. Deciding to take her chance she jumped at Shinso and tried to kick him in the head but her leg was caught.
"Yeild or I fry you." Shinso threatened as lightning arked around his hand.
Asui slipped up and croaked out "Neve-" and Shinso took control.
"Walk out of the arena." He commanded, letting go of Asui's leg. The frog girl then slowly walked forwards and went out of bounds.
Midnight called the match. "SHINSO WINS BY RING OUT!"
Mic said "WELL FOLKS THAT'S IT FOR ROUND ONE BUT DONT WORRY! THE NEXT ROUND WILL START SHORTLY!"
Asui croaked angrily at herself as she regained control. "Damnit! I got caught in his mind control and lost!"
Shinso said "Sorry I beat you like tgat but I figured it would be better than blasting you with lightning."
Asui calmed down and accepted the apology. The two then walked back to the stands where Ashido was still pestering Izuku about his date to no avail.
