After the smoke cleared, Nagishima and feline partner ran over to the prone Tora. The Yukata boy knelt before supporting the girls head in his arms. "Tora are you alright?" Nagishima asked with concern.
Bobcat woman slowly opened her eyes then replied "I got horned a couple of times, my leg has been reinjured." she then pointed to her ankle that became redder than it was before.
Nagishima lifted the injured girl and took shelter inside the ravine tunnel along with the others.
Chisana returned shortly after with a handmade basket filled with wild edibles, ranging from plant stalks to berries. She set down the basket, then ran to the group and knelt beside her downed comrade.
"What happened to her?" Chisana asked worriedly. Nagishima and Shion explained the events that up to the battle with the goat monsters. Tora's face was wracked with pain, which prompted Nagishima to sterilize his hands before getting to work.
Nagishima looked at the girl's ankle, which was red and swollen. He felt around the area, Tora winced when the front portion was touched. The yukata boy nodded with a "Hm." indicating that he the source of the discomfort.
The semi marine pulled a small can of cold spray from the First Aid Kit with which he misted Tora's leg to dull the pain. Afterward, he bandaged the ankle to reduce further inflammation before elevating that same leg on his backpack bracket, which worked surprisingly well for that purpose. He successfully rendered aid using the RICE method.
Nagishima looked over at Tora's face, which was now relaxed. The boy breathed a sigh of relief and then took a seat by his patient. Nagishima tapped the girl on the shoulder, which drew her gaze to him. The yukata youth waved his hands around a few times, then pulled a chocolate bar out of seemingly nowhere and gave it to Bobcat lady.
Tora's face was filled with childlike amazement.
"How did you do that?" she asked excitedly. "I can't say, but a little mystery keeps things interesting." Nagishima stated before finishing with a sly wink. Tora blushed slightly "Oh, okay." she replied, sounding a bit dejected. "Sorry about that." Yukata youth apologized as he gently caressed the girl's ankle.
"Are you feeling up my leg?" Tora asked, puzzled by the act. The boy looked at her face, then his hand, which was followed by an awkward pause. The semi marine quickly pulled his hand back. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to! I was just making sure you were comfortable." Nagishima explained after becoming flustered. "Hey, Nagishima. I didn't say that you should stop, now did I?" Tora asked, slightly upset about her treatment being interrupted.
Nagishima looked at the girl. She looked at him, then her leg and back at the boy. She was stating that he should go ahead in a nonverbal manner. The yukata youth placed his hand on the girl's bandaged ankle, Bobcat lady nodded, and then he slowly rubbed the area.
Tora took a bite of the chocolate bar and then shot her friends a smug look followed by a sly smile during her "princess treatment". Pansa was annoyed, Shion raised her fist in frustration while Chisana stood back watching the interaction, trying not to laugh.
