Chapter 400 - Chapter 415: The Thunder God Descends

"Not bad... It's even stronger than my 100 million volts," Enel muttered.

This time, he didn't take the attack head-on.

He transformed into lightning and dodged the violet beam's path,

Then shot straight toward the location of Ōtsutsuki Masato.

He knew—if he could take that man down,

This mission would be more than halfway complete.

Down below—

Ōtsutsuki Seiji suddenly appeared before the rest of the clan.

"Everyone, stop! Don't take another step!"

His booming voice echoed with authority.

All who heard it instinctively halted their movements.

They turned to him with puzzled expressions.

"Clan Leader's orders: from here on, we are not to participate in the battle!"

Ōtsutsuki Seiji spoke with a firm, steady voice.

"This..."

The clansmen exchanged uneasy glances. One of them let out a wry chuckle, "True enough. The enemy's strength is leagues above ours. To think he actually blocked the power of the Tenseigan head-on… that's just absurd!"

"Exactly. Let's leave it to the Clan Leader. No matter how strong he may seem, in the face of the Tenseigan, he can only lose!"

"You're right. He probably used up everything he had just now. But we all know—the power of the Tenseigan is inexhaustible!"

Their spirits lifted, the atmosphere in the group turned fiery with anticipation.

Elsewhere—

Enel, still in his lightning form, came to a stop.

He had spotted Ōtsutsuki Masato standing alone in a crater.

But what drew his attention most—

Was the glowing violet orb floating above Masato's outstretched right palm.

"So that's the Tenseigan..."

Enel studied it with curious eyes as he slowly descended from the sky.

He stopped hovering just short of the ground—

Their gazes locked.

With a lazy grin, Enel asked, "Do I need to introduce myself again?"

"That won't be necessary, Lord Enel," Masato replied calmly.

"I am the current leader of the Ōtsutsuki clan—Ōtsutsuki Masato."

"On behalf of our clan, I formally reject your demand for surrender."

"And I solemnly declare: from this moment onward, we will do everything in our power to drive you out of our world!"

Enel raised an eyebrow.

Then, as if he had just heard the most ridiculous joke in the universe, he threw his head back and burst into laughter—

"Yahahahaha~~ Yahahahaha~~"

"You're going to drive us—the World Government—out?"

He 'struggled' to suppress his laughter, eyes wide as he stared at Masato.

"Are you insane?!"

"Do you even understand what those two words—World Government—mean?"

"What gave you that kind of confidence? Don't tell me it's that Tenseigan in your hand!"

Masato remained composed as he looked at Enel.

"You say I don't understand the meaning of World Government—but you foreigners have even less idea of how terrifying the power of the Tenseigan truly is."

"Oh~?"

Enel casually dug a finger into his ear.

Then—

In a flash of lightning, he appeared behind Masato.

"Then let me see for myself."

His voice came quietly from the space between them.

"1,000 volts—Dischar—"

But just as Enel's lightning-formed finger reached for the back of Masato's neck—

He was suddenly struck by an overwhelming force surging toward him like a crashing wave.

It felt as if an invisible wall had slammed into him from every direction.

His entire body, still crackling with electricity, was hurled backward—

A brilliant burst of lightning tracing his trajectory.

At that moment—

Enel noticed the ground surrounding Masato—

A sweeping wave of soil and dust rippled outward from him in all directions.

Another crater formed within the original impact site.

"Repulsive force? I see... so this is Shinra Tensei!"

Propelled to the rim of the crater, Enel stabilized himself mid-air, his body reforming from lightning.

Though the force had tossed him rather awkwardly—

It clearly wasn't enough to injure a Logia-type like him.

"Exactly. This is the invisible hand of a god—one that repels all living things in its path."

Ōtsutsuki Masato spoke with solemn conviction.

As soon as the words left his mouth, he shouted once more, "Next comes the divine force from which none may escape!"

Instantly, the purple glow of the Tenseigan intensified.

And Enel suddenly felt an invisible force—

Gripping him tightly, yanking his entire body forward.

Even transforming into lightning offered no escape from it.

Across from him—

A familiar violet beam erupted from the Tenseigan, surging forward.

"130 million volts—"

"Thunder Dragon!!"

With a deafening roar, Enel thrust both palms forward.

"RAAAAHHH!"

In a flash—

A majestic dragon composed entirely of brilliant blue lightning exploded forth, electricity crackling wildly along its body as it charged ferociously.

[BOOM!!!]

A thunderous explosion rocked the moon once again.

The entire region was split down the middle by streaks of violet and blue light.

Amid such terrifying force—

The gravitational pull that had been drawing Enel in vanished completely.

But he didn't back off.

Instead, he gripped the Lightning Spear in his hand even tighter—

And became a streak of lightning, blinking forward to appear right before Masato.

Because Enel remembered what Lord Imu had told him:

Shinra Tensei had a five-second cooldown before it could be used again.

"What?!"

Masato's face twisted in shock.

He didn't understand—

Why would Enel charge at him so boldly after experiencing the full force of Shinra Tensei?

Unless… he knew it couldn't be used again right away!

But Masato's body still reacted with battle-hardened instinct.

He immediately withdrew the hand holding the Tenseigan, letting it float autonomously in the air—

"Gentle Fist Secret Art: Twin Deity Palm Strike!"

A roaring aura of chakra burst from Masato's body like blue fire.

Then—

Two massive glowing fists appeared above his head, forged from pure chakra.

"What is that?!"

Enel felt a crushing sense of danger radiating from the two enormous fists.

He didn't hesitate for even a second.

"200 million volts—"

"Thunder God!!!"

At the same time—

He unleashed his Armament Haki outward—

Forming an invisible, yet dense barrier in front of his Thunder God's massive, muscular form.

[BOOM!!!]

Masato's twin Divine Fists collided head-on with Enel's Thunder God fists.

The clash sent shockwaves across the shattered battlefield—

...

"That! That's—!"

"Im—Impossible..."

Though the crater still churned with thick smoke, rendering visibility impossible for ordinary eyes,

Not a single person here lacked the Byakugan.

In this world of pure black and white—

They could all clearly see the towering thunder giant—at least ten meters tall—standing before their clan leader.

But unlike the awe-inspiring and overwhelming presence of the former,

Ōtsutsuki Masato now knelt on one knee, battered and disheveled.

His ragged breathing and the unwillingness in his eyes made his exhaustion painfully obvious.

The Tenseigan still floated silently at his side,

But it was clear he could no longer summon its power.

"Why?! Why do you know about Shinra Tensei!?"

"And how do you know of our existence?! There's no way anyone in the ninja world could have provided you with this information!"

Ōtsutsuki Masato, drenched in cold sweat, glared up at the 'Thunder God' before him, shouting with fury.

But the truth that had shocked him the most—

Was that the opponent had taken his ultimate technique head-on—

And had only suffered minor injuries?

That's right.

Enel had indeed been injured.

If he reverted to his human form now, one would see blood trickling from the corner of his mouth.

Their previous clash—

Had shattered both of the Thunder God's arms,

And the residual force had slammed into his chest directly.

Even now, Enel still felt a faint stabbing pain.

Because the attack—

Contained an internal-damage effect akin to Armament Haki,

Unfortunately—

Masato could only use that technique twice in a short period.

And no matter the outcome of the second use—

He would die without question, as it would completely drain all of his chakra.

"Why?"

Enel adopted a pensive expression—

Then cracked a fearsome grin with the Thunder God's massive mouth.

"You don't have the qualifications to know things of that level right now."

Ōtsutsuki Masato's expression darkened—only to hear Enel continue: "The World Government has no intention of destroying the shinobi world, nor of wiping out your clan."

"There's only one demand."

"Submission."

The Thunder God Enel stared down at Ōtsutsuki Masato and declared this heavily from above.

"…"

Masato didn't answer.

He slowly and shakily stood back up,

Retrieving the Tenseigan and guiding it back to his left palm.

His Byakugan still radiated defiance, resentment, and fury.

"You stubborn bastard…"

Enel roared in anger at the sight.

Blazing blue lightning surged from his massive body once again.

At the same time—

The Tenseigan in Masato's hand burst forth with a radiant violet glow.

Just when it seemed the battle was about to reignite—

The Thunder God before him suddenly shot upward, transforming into a massive beam of light that pierced the starry sky.

Masato was momentarily confused.

But when he saw the Thunder God change direction mid-ascent—diving toward Ōtsutsuki Yūmi and the others in the distance—

His expression changed drastically.

"Damn it!"

"He's going after the clan!"

...

"Watch out!!"

Ōtsutsuki Yūmi and the several dozen clan members with him also noticed Enel's movements right away.

Over a thousand combat puppets—like human-shaped fighter jets—

Pierced through the relatively thin lunar atmosphere, charging in swarms toward that dazzling bolt of lightning.

A barrage of dense violet orbs formed a curtain of fire across the sky above the moon.

Because these orbs were powered by the Tenseigan,

They possessed the ability to interact directly with elemental-type chakra bodies.

This was precisely why Enel had dodged these orbs before,

However—this time, Enel didn't plan to dodge.

Because he realized—

Unless he crushed these people completely,

It would be difficult to fulfill Lord Imu's orders.

"Lord Imu told me to minimize casualties—not that I couldn't kill anyone…"

Facing the wave of violet orbs,

A cold gleam, tinged with killing intent, flickered in Enel's eyes.

"Lord Imu… if a few of these bastards don't die, they'll never learn fear!"

The ten-meter-tall Thunder God spread his massive, electric-blue hands wide—

[Zzzzzzzzzt!]

In an instant, countless bolts of lightning erupted from his palms,

Blasting apart wave after wave of incoming orbs midair.

"Fifty million volts: Thunder Dragon!"
