"They're really that strong? We'll need five thousand?"
Seiji picked up the report from the table, visibly surprised.
In his estimation, a thousand Combat Puppets would be enough to annihilate any major hidden village on the Shinobi World.
As for the power of the Tenseigan—
It would probably take the combined might of the entire Shinobi World just to resist it.
"Hm?"
Just then, Ōtsutsuki Masato suddenly noticed—
A sphere of purple light streaking toward him through the night outside his window.
He made no attempt to dodge it, allowing it to enter directly into his mind.
In the blink of an eye—
Masato was transferred into the perspective of another clan member.
Through their eyes, he clearly saw a bolt of brilliant blue lightning flying in from the direction of the Shinobi World toward the Moon.
"What is this...?"
Ōtsutsuki Masato narrowed his eyes and wondered, "Could it be some kind of weapon launched at us?"
Masato 'saw' the clan member he had linked with immediately lead ten Combat Puppets to intercept the incoming blue lightning.
As both sides rapidly approached at an incredible speed—
The Combat Puppets extended their arms forward,
Gathering large purple spheres of energy in front of their chests.
[Whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh...]
A moment later—
Ten enhanced purple energy blasts shot forward with sharp howling sounds.
Since the bolt of lightning had been flying straight from the beginning—
There was no consideration of evasive maneuvers or blocking routes.
But unexpectedly—
That bolt of azure lightning suddenly pulled into a graceful arc, as if it possessed consciousness, effortlessly dodging all the attacks.
"What?!"
The scene stunned not only the Ōtsutsuki clan member on-site, but also Masato, who had assumed their perspective and couldn't help but exclaim.
Fortunately, the Combat Puppets had no emotions.
In the next instant, they used their slender arms to carve circular patterns in the air before them.
Immediately—
Ten smaller purple orbs, about the size of Rasengan, materialized out of thin air.
In an instant—
A dense barrage of purple afterimages streaked across the sky above the Moon.
Yet even this overwhelming curtain of fire was deftly evaded by the lightning bolt, again and again.
Masato was left completely dumbfounded by what he witnessed.
"Has the World Government's weaponry really reached this level?"
"To think they've created energy attacks capable of such terrifying autonomous response…"
But no matter what, time would not wait.
The Combat Puppets no longer had time to launch another round of attacks.
[Crack!]
The brilliant blue thunderbolt flashed past them at a speed too fast for the naked eye to follow—
And in the very next instant, every single Combat Puppet exploded simultaneously in a burst of blinding lightning and deafening thunder.
"Not good!"
Masato 'heard' the clan member exclaim in alarm.
The fearsome lightning bolt curved into a perfect arc.
This time, its target—was him.
"Haah! Eight Trigrams Empty Wall Palm!!"
The clan member, named Ōtsutsuki Mizuiro, faced the incoming lightning head-on—
But in the face of the vacuum shockwave launched by Ōtsutsuki Mizuiro's twin palms—
That lightning bolt didn't even attempt to dodge.
With a thunderous boom, the powerful vacuum wave was shattered on the spot.
And the brilliant blue radiance emitted by the lightning—
Was already casting its glow onto Mizuiro's terrified face.
"Eight Trigrams Formation: Heavenly Rotation!!!"
Faced with a life-or-death crisis—
He didn't hesitate to unleash his absolute defense.
A torrent of pale blue chakra erupted from every tenketsu across his entire body, like a surging tide.
In the blink of an eye, Ōtsutsuki Mizuiro spun in place—
A dome-shaped burst of swirling blue energy forming around him on the lunar surface, standing directly against the oncoming lightning strike.
[BOOM!]
In an instant—
Masato watched as Mizuiro's Heavenly Rotation—
Was crushed and obliterated by that blinding bolt of lightning in less than three seconds.
"AAAAAAHHHH!!"
A piercing, anguished scream echoed out.
Ōtsutsuki Mizuiro's body convulsed violently under the assault of the terrifying current.
His perspective jittered and shook uncontrollably.
And watching through it, Ōtsutsuki Masato, as clan head, felt a deep rage rise within him.
But he suppressed it—and kept watching the memory through to the end.
[THUD!]
Ōtsutsuki Mizuiro crashed heavily to the ground, kicking up a cloud of pale lunar dust.
Yet the next image made Masato's eyes go wide with shock.
Because right before him, a streak of lightning gathered into the form of a tall young man—
It was… a human!
Ōtsutsuki Masato had previously read intelligence reports noting that Aramaki's body could turn into wood—
But even so, he had never imagined that a human body could transform into lightning, and actually use that state to fly all the way from the Shinobi World to the Moon.
Just then—
Masato's vision snapped back to the rough stone chamber.
"What just happened?" asked Ōtsutsuki Seiji, who was still seated across the table, visibly alarmed.
"Enemy attack," Masato replied coldly. "A man who can turn into lightning flew here from the Shinobi World. Judging by his outfit, he's likely a general from the World Government. Mizuiro's been killed."
With that, Masato abruptly stood up.
"Alert Yūmi immediately. Have him lead the others into defensive positions. I'll intercept the intruder myself."
Before Seiji—whose face had gone pale—could even respond,
Masato vanished from the spot in an instant.
Because he could already tell—
No ordinary clan member would stand a chance against that man.
...
"Ah? Dead already?"
On the desolate, ashen surface of the moon—
Enel hovered in midair, crouched as if landing softly on invisible ground.
He extended two fingers to check the breath of Ōtsutsuki Mizuiro and immediately broke into a grin.
"Still breathing. Not bad, not bad~ Not too fragile~"
Before arriving here, he had actually contacted Lord Imu once.
The orders passed down from the Air Force Headquarters hadn't been detailed enough.
And Enel suspected that Lord Imu might have deeper plans concerning the Ōtsutsuki clan of the Shinobi World.
Sure enough, Lord Imu had instructed him: once he arrived, he was to avoid killing as much as possible—and to refrain from damaging the moon.
Especially regarding the current clan head, who must be given particular attention.
Because the bloodline of this Ōtsutsuki would one day give birth to the Child of Destiny of the Shinobi World.
As for the environment—
In Imu's view, this moon held great potential for development.
But there was an even more critical reason:
Ōtsutsuki Kaguya was still sealed at the moon's core.
If Enel acted recklessly and caused significant damage—
It could potentially trigger Kaguya's premature release.
Although the chances were slim…
And even Enel's current strength wasn't anywhere near enough to damage the moon on the scale of a Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion—
It was still worth a warning.
Better safe than sorry.
In addition to all this—
Enel had received classified intelligence from Lord Imu regarding the Tenseigan.
Enel stood up, rubbing his chin as he muttered to himself. "So, where do I go from here?"
"Lord Imu did say the moon's interior has vast space, but I can't exactly blast a hole through it, can I?"
The next moment—
As Enel scanned the cratered, grayish terrain around him—
He suddenly spotted groups of combat puppets flying in from all directions, accompanied by Ōtsutsuki clan members in ancient gray robes, their pale eyes glowing.
Ah, perfect. A welcoming committee!
Unfortunately, the other side didn't share Enel's enthusiasm.
The combat puppets in the front lines wasted no time—each generated ten glowing purple orbs in front of them.
In an instant—
Three to four thousand purple energy spheres, each with power comparable to a Rasengan, rained down on Enel's location like a tidal wave.
Enel merely smiled. "Too slow."
[Whoosh!]
In the blink of an eye, his entire body vanished in a burst of radiant blue lightning.
He left the ground without hesitation, just as thousands of glowing purple bombs crashed into the spot he had just occupied.
For a moment—
Thunderous explosions echoed across this entire side of the moon.
At the same time—
Far away, the Ōtsutsuki clan members used their Byakugan to swiftly track Enel, now floating far above them.
"He turned into lightning?"
"That coat—he's from the other world!"
"Use Air Wall Palm! Knock him down!"
The Ōtsutsuki clansmen shouted warnings to each other across the field.
But now—it was Enel's turn.
"Ten million volts—Discharge!!"
With a loud crackling of electricity, countless arcs of dazzling blue lightning erupted from Enel's outstretched arms.
They appeared wild and chaotic—
Yet every bolt struck a combat puppet with pinpoint precision.
One by one—
The electricity coursing through the puppets linked together in a massive current web.
The Ōtsutsuki watching from below were stunned speechless by the sight.
Even their prepared stances froze in place.
Until, at last, the lightning above dissipated.
And puppet after puppet—each one trailing black smoke and completely powered down—
Came crashing to the gray earth like raindrops pelting a drum.
The ground shook beneath the Ōtsutsuki as the wreckage rained down, snapping them out of their daze.
Yet not a single one dared to attack.
They all stood rooted to the spot, staring nervously at the man above—Enel—who loomed high in the sky, watching them with mocking amusement.
"All descendants of the Ōtsutsuki in this world, hear me!"
"I am Enel, Lieutenant General of the World Government's Air Force Headquarters!"
"By order of Lord Imu, I've come to demand your immediate surrender. Cease resisting and submit!"
Arcs of blue lightning running through Enel's body.
His declaration, his posture, his tone—everything about him radiated arrogance and oppressive superiority.
The Ōtsutsuki below were seething with anger.
Their Byakugan eyes glowed with barely restrained fury.
From the moment they were born, they had been taught—
That the Ōtsutsuki bloodline was supreme.
They were the natural overseers of the Shinobi World.
And yet... they lacked the strength to match that belief.
So all they could do was clench their fists and swallow their rage—
Silently praying for their clan head to arrive.
[Buzz—!]
It seemed their prayers had been heard.
A brilliant violet beam shot through the moon's pitch-black sky from a great distance.
Enel, already on high alert, sensed the incoming danger instantly.
He raised his right hand, unleashing a surge of violent lightning.
"One hundred million volts—Thunderbolt!!"
In the blink of an eye—
A blazing blue beam, wrapped in countless arcs of lightning, surged forth and collided head-on with the incoming violet blast.
[BOOM!!!]
The resulting explosion split the sky as if cleaving the moon's heavens in two—
Blue on one side, violet on the other.
Below, the dozen or so Ōtsutsuki clansmen had already closed their eyes tightly—
But they could still feel the air shaking violently around them, and a howling wind crashing down like a tidal wave.
Just as the world began to settle into silence once more—
[Buzz—!]
Another violet beam suddenly fired from the far side of the moon,
Blazing forward at an impossible speed, heading straight for Enel—just as he lowered his right hand.
This was the power of the Tenseigan!
