Ilisha didn't betray Sayasha's expectations. The lunch she prepared, vanished in just minutes. Roku, Ilisha's fairies friends ate quickly as they competed against Roku.
It was a once-in-a-year chance to eat Ilisha's cooked food.
"W-we are not match from M-Mr. Roku's big mouth."
"Hmph!"
"But, Ilisha is really good at cooking. It made you energized and sleepy...." Liria yawns, leaning on the glass water.
"It was delicious, Ilisha."
Ilisha's smile reaches her ears as Roku compliments her.
Time for another training, time for Sayasha's work.
After lunch, Ilisha and Roku spend time in the forest, roaming, and investigating the forest. Roku had almost two months since he arrived but there were a lot of mysteries from his knowledge hiding in the forest.
Monsters, beasts, poisonous flowers, danger zones, deadly insects.
With the help of Ilisha and her power Roku learned anything he wanted. Asking Ilisha, she knew everything in the forest. Where is the deadly insect, the enchanted place for Liria's forest where the fairy queens live.
But Roku focuses on important information. Hours pass, and the two end up in the forest where they often take a bath and wash their clothes.
They just rest for seconds and leave. Sayasha is left alone at home and she might be worried that night is about to come and they are not arriving yet.
The two challenge themselves that anyone who touches Sayasha's hands will do the favor of the winner.
"Ilisha, even you are my daughter-----"
Ilisha disappeared from Roku's sight, the wind blowing toward the direction of their home.
Roku just shook his head, running fast like a wind. When it comes to challenge Ilisha takes it seriously as she prepares to kill her opponent.
In just seconds, Roku reached the kitchen where Ilisha embraced Sayasha and held her hands. With a smile on her lips, she showed it to Roku.
"Ilisha, dinner is ready."
They ate together but this time the three fairies were not present making their dinner quiet. Just the sound of plates and spoons can be heard, munch of delicious food.
"Thanks for the food."
Regular routine, wash the dishes and sleep together. Ilisha's request, sleep as family.
"Good night, Ilisha."
"Ilisha good night."
Ilisha responds, kissing their foreheads, holding their hands, and sleeping facing the sky. Roku and Sayasha, face at her, watching her bright red cheeks.
"Good night, Sayasha."
"Roku... night..."
A good night kiss at the same time close their eyes.
A peaceful night that Roku just closed his eyes and opened them again morning came. Yawn, rubbing his eyes, averting his gaze at the window.
The sun is already there but the two are still in their sleep. So Roku decided to prepare breakfast. And they ate together.
As the time kept running, Roku's attention focused on making himself stronger and exploring the forest. In his time with Ilisha adventuring in the Senisha forest, his vocabulary got bigger, the knowledge he didn't understand at first. But with Ilisha's explanation, he found an answer.
Experimenting, using his own skill. Power that can kill the monsters, hands enveloped in the sky-blue fire. Roku saw the light to protect his family even though they were far stronger than him.
Roku still doesn't have the confidence to beat his own daughter, Ilisha. One time they have a mock fight but Roku ends up losing his consciousness in under one minute.
Ilisha didn't show any kind of mercy. She was like a different person once her knife rested on her palms. Eyes that burn, aura intimidating the opponent.
No matter who it was, even his own Mother and Father, she was not holding back.
Days and days passed, and Roku found his progression. Adapting to nature filled with dangerous monsters.
Four months peacefully passed. Ilisha and Sayasha forget about Sayami's presence.
They live peacefully, eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner together, sleeping in one bed every night with their daughter, Ilisha.
Despite Ilisha's crazy power she is still a child, and wants to spoil her.
This morning, Roku found that the time spent with Sayasha somehow changed. Roku doesn't know if Sayasha doesn't want to see him or treat him as her husband.
"Sayasha, I will prepare our breakfast." Sayasha just glares at Roku at the same time averts her gaze.
Just recently since Sayasha changed and Roku somehow knew the answer in the action of Sayasha.
He got up, preparing food.
In just minutes everything set but Sayasha just moved her soup and left to go back to her bed.
"Papa, is Mama okay?"
"She's fine, Ilisha. She was just tired yesterday from making a lot of tea and herbs. She didn't rest last night for weaving your clothes. And these past days she always working, so don't worry, your mother will be fine."
"Then, I will cheer her."
"But finish your food first."
Roku and Ilisha finished their breakfast and Ilisha quickly left, comforting her mother. After eating, Roku carries Sayasha's bread but he halts when a shouting voice echoes in Sayasha's room.
Roku runs fast, slamming the door.
"What happ------"
"I-Ilisha, f-forg-----"
"It's fine, Sayasha. Leave it to me."
Roku found, Ilisha on the floor, sitting her but wiping her tears. Just across from her Sayasha sitting on the bed panicking.
"Sayasha, just rest. Don't worry."
"S-Sorry, I even didn't know to myself why I was doing that. Ilisha, forgive your mother."
"Ilisha just nodded as Roku carried her, bringing her outside. He head Ilisha's room, sitted on the bed.
"So did you make your Mama angry again?"
"Papa, I don't understand what Ilisha doing. Ilisha just wanted Ma----"
"Ilisha you really care about your mother. You are not doing wrong, you just love your mother. Just she was exhausted from work. Let's give her time to rest, okay?"
"But I want, Mama..."
"Hm... Let's go outside, fight me. Throw your anger at me so that you can smile again, okay?"
Ilisha didn't respond, she just held Roku's hands. And the second pass, Ilisha can smile again, leading the way towards outside.
Roku just followed her, toward the open area of the forest. Where there are a lot of craters through a strong explosion of Ilisha's power.
"Papa..."
The time Ilisha held her knife, she appeared in front of Roku, attempting to slice his cheek. Roku used Ilisha's speed so he easily deflected her attack. Before Ilisha's sharp knife touches Roku's throat, he taps her wrist but Ilisha is not done yet.
She makes a lot of attacks that Roku avoids with his reflexes,
Half an hour later, Roku still not sweating and Ilisha couldn't scratch Roku.
Before Roku sees the wild beast Ilisha, he deliberately touches Ilisha's knife which creates a deep wound. Roku managed to pull the impossible pretending and Ilisha didn't notice it.
"Papa, you are still weak."
"But I'm getting stronger not like before when in just seconds I'm already laying on the ground."
Ilisha just stared at Roku and turned her back, hiding her knife.
"Papa, why is Mama..."
Just seconds after their fight, Ilisha remembers her mother again, sulking why her mother raising her voice with her. Her years of living with her mother, Sayasha. It's her first time seeing Sayasha acting like that.
Fortunately, Roku managed to comfort Ilisha, patting her head and kept repeating her mother was just exhausted and the problem with Sayami might force Sayasha to panic.
Ilisha understood it as she heard Sayami's name. And she was not afraid anymore of hearing Sayami's name.
"Papa, I will play with Liria and Krinia, I will be back at night."
"Careful, Ilisha. Leave your Mama to me and when you go back, she will embrace you, okay."
"Uhm!" Ilisha sprinted toward the forest filled with the tallest tree.
While Roku just sat, looking at the sky.
Even him, doubting the action Sayasha is showing.
"Months, huh? It's really that long. Is Sayasha changing her impression about humans or..." Roku buried his fists in his face. Overthinking about Sayasha might tear their trust.
Roku got up, promising himself to trust Sayasha no matter what happened. As he walked, he noticed, Sayasha glaring at the sky, leaning on the tree.
"Sayasha."
"Roku is.. our daughter is..." Roku held her hands, starting to walk.
"Are you frustrated at your recent work? Why you are venting your anger to our daughter?"
"Yeah, I don't even understand to myself why the simple thing I want to do is now I'm having a hard time. I'm sure it's about..." Sayasha remembered the letter she saw in Roku's memory.
Roku felt her grip tighten which made them stop at each other.
"I will help you, Sayasha."
Sayasha just leans her cheek on Roku's shoulder, hugging his arms as they walk. After minutes of slow walking, Sayasha felt tired, breathing heavily.
Roku just princess carries her, bringing her near the river where the cold wind.
"Thanks, Roku." Sayasha soaks her foot, swinging as the calm water creates small waves. Roku just sat next to her on a rock, coiling his arms around Sayasha's belly.
Sayasha turned at Roku with a smile, asking for a suggestion to find Sweestal. Sweestal is a kind of flower but it's a rare flower. It was like a red rose but the flower is a fruit that can eat.
"Again? But the last time..."
"Roku, I love you." Sayasha felt his lip and he couldn't resist her face.
"I love you too, Sayasha. Will you wait for me in our home?"
Sayasha just nodded and Roku carried her in his arms, dropping at the home, in her room.
"Wait for me here."
"I will wait for you here."
After Roku dropped Sayasha, he went into the forest and ran fast. It's Sayasha's five times. And the last time he found the Sweestal it took one day to find.
The Sweestal flower is living in a cave where there's no sun. Roku is in the Senisha forest, the vastest forest in the world.
Entering without knowledge in the cave is dangerous like facing furious Ilisha. So Roku carefully scans the cave and when it's safe to enter, he begins exploring inside. Minutes of staying in the first cave there's no luck.
Not that far from home, Roku explores the place but there's no cave until there's a thick bush hanging at piling rock.
Roku feels air coming from the thick so he removes the bush and there's a small entrance like a cave. He felt first luckily monsters did not exist, nothing living inside the cave.
It was a good sign for Roku. No lives, or weeds inside, only rock.
There's a high possibility the Sweestal flower is there. Roku hasn't explored the entire cave but he stumbles a rock, just behind a Sweetestal flower, standing proudly.
"You are just here. It even took days for me to find you but all of you are just hiding here!" Roku didn't see one but a bunch.
He just picked one and left. As Roku walked, leaving the cave he just realized it was not easy.
Leaving the cave consumes a lot of time, he is almost lost on his way, fortunately, there's a firefly inside leading the way.
"Thanks...." Roku entered the forest after breakfast but he came back at night.
Run fast, Roku run as his life depend on it. After minutes of running, he pauses at the same time enters.
Not that far away, he can hear Ilisha's voice, crying as she calls his name.
"Ilisha..." As Roku opened the door, he found Ilisha, trying to tear her clothes made by her mother, while Sayasha almost destroyed the home while scolding Ilisha.
"Papa!" Ilisha rushes toward Roku, hiding behind her. With the tight embrace, Ilisha was afraid of her mother.
"Roku! If you keep spoiling Ilisha, she will lose her way. Give her to me!" Sayasha was mad, demanding to hand Ilisha at her.
"Sayasha, what happened?"
"She kept coming late! I'm fed up, give her to me!"
Sayasha approaches, trying to force Ilisha to go with her. But Roku held her hands, talking calmly with her.
"Let's talk this tomorrow."
"I can't! Let's puni----" Sayasha loses her balance as she is about to pass out.
Roku catches her by arms, supporting her to sit on the chair.
"It was bad for your health to be mad like that."
"I-I don't know to myself. But when it com----" Sayasha suddenly rushed to the washing area, vomiting.
Roku rubbed her back, as Sayasha kept releasing the food she ate.
"Are you okay, Sayasha.... S-Sayasha!"
As Roku rubbed her back, he remembered the most important.
"R-Roku, help me, I-I feel..."
"Sayasha!" Roku quickly embraces tightly Sayasha. "Our dream came true, Ilisha had a sister."
