When I heard her loving voice, I could not hold back my emotions. I broke down.
I cried all my heart in her arms.
She rubbed my back gently and patiently waited until I burst out all my emotions.
After a long silence, I answered her.
"Mom, I do not know but I am really struggling to keep my emotions within me and not to complain. My situation is far better than the others, but I cannot understand why I still feel this way.
I miss my husband," I said and let go of my tears again.
I heard her sigh. She knew what I already felt the past days, but I knew she did not want to interfere between us.
"It's okay, I understand," she answered.
"I could have kicked Paul the past days so he could realize it, but I also saw that he does not seem to listen to me, so I save my ass.
I wanted him to realize everything on his own. But I know you need someone to listen to you.
I've been waiting for this moment. But maybe this day is the time.
