Chapter 12 - Divine Scripture Of The Primordial Beginning, Reaching The Acupoint Opening Stage

In a small mortal town situated near a flowing river, a young man slowly walked through the streets.

His long, jet black hair fluttered gently in the breeze, while his crimson eyes casually swept across the surrounding buildings and crowds.

It was, without a doubt, Tian Yongheng.

His appearance was so extraordinary that it attracted attention wherever he went.

Women couldn't help but stop and stare whenever he passed by. Some even forgot what they had been doing, their gazes following his figure until he disappeared from sight.

Even the men who happened to encounter him were left speechless.

There was something almost unreal about his appearance.

His features were flawless, his complexion extraordinary, and his temperament carried an indescribable sense of elegance and detachment.

He looked less like an ordinary mortal and more like an Immortal God who had descended from the heavens.

This was the effect of his Ethereal Looks.

As one of his Connate Providence, it possessed a peculiar charm that made his presence worth extra glances even from beings at immeasurable heights of cultivation.

However, Tian Yongheng's expression remained indifferent as he continued walking through the streets.

By now, he had already sorted out most of the events surrounding both his previous and current lives.

He also recalled the identities of Ye Fan and Wang Xiaomei.

Although he couldn't determine their exact circumstances, there was one conclusion he could reasonably draw. They were most likely Chosen Ones.

Perhaps they possessed extraordinary Providence, or perhaps they had some other opportunities that allowed them to stand above ordinary living beings.

Whatever the case, their involvement in his previous life was something he hadn't forgotten.

He couldn't let them off the hook for what they did to him and his family just because he had a new life now.

But he didn't dwell on the matter for too long, after all, they were no longer in the same world.

Even if he wanted to settle those grievances, he first needed to discover a method of crossing between worlds, and more importantly, he needed sufficient strength.

Without either of those things, thinking about revenge was meaningless.

For now, there were far more important matters to attend to. He needed to begin cultivating.

His immediate priority was to comprehend the Divine Scripture of the Primordial Beginning and establish a proper foundation for his cultivation.

Fortunately, he still possessed some gold coins from his previous belongings.

Although they weren't valuable in the cultivation world, they were more than enough to sustain him in an ordinary mortal town.

After walking around for a while, Tian Yongheng eventually found a fairly decent pavilion that offered accommodation.

He entered, paid the owner for a room, and received a key.

The owner was initially somewhat distracted by his appearance, but Tian Yongheng paid little attention to him.

He took the key and went upstairs. After entering the room, he closed the door and made sure that no one would disturb him.

Only then did he retrieve the Divine Scripture of the Primordial Beginning from the depths of his consciousness.

Tian Yongheng sat down and began studying it with complete concentration.

As he gradually examined the contents of the Divine Scripture, Tian Yongheng discovered something surprising.

The general cultivation knowledge he had acquired during his upbringing in the Tian Family was actually incomplete.

He had always believed that the mortal cultivation system consisted of nine major realms, however, according to the Divine Scripture of the Primordial Beginning, there was actually another realm above the nine commonly recognized mortal realms.

It was known as the Half Immortal Realm.

Cultivators who reached this level were also called Human Immortals.

It was the final boundary between mortals and true Immortals, as well as the highest cultivation realm one could achieve without ascending to the Upper Immortal Worlds.

In other words, the mortal cultivation system didn't consist of nine realms, but ten.

Tian Yongheng carefully examined the relevant information.

The Half Immortal Realm was considered the ultimate peak of mortal cultivation.

Those who reached this level had already surpassed the limitations of ordinary living beings to an extraordinary degree, and their existence was no longer comparable to that of ordinary cultivators.

Reaching the Half Immortal Realm wasn't a prerequisite for ascending to the Upper Realm, as the minimum requirement for ascension was the Tribulation Transcendence Realm.

Once a cultivator successfully reached that realm and fulfilled the necessary conditions, they could undergo ascension and leave the Mortal World behind.

In fact, many cultivators chose to ascend immediately after reaching the Tribulation Transcendence Realm.

There were several reasons for this, such as the lack of sufficient resources to continue advancing, of some cultivators who had exhausted their opportunities and reached the limits of their cultivation potential.

And for many, ascending to the Upper Realm was just a better choice than remaining trapped in the Mortal World while pursuing an increasingly difficult breakthrough.

After all, the Upper Immortal Worlds possessed cultivation environments far superior to those of the Mortal Worlds.

However, the existence of the Immortal Ascension Realm and Half Immortal Realm within the Nine Great Mortal Worlds and the Lower Realm was itself a very special phenomenon.

It was possible because of the extraordinary nature of these worlds.

Their dimensionality was exceptionally high, the Spirit Qi was incomparably abundant, the Providence was immense, and the number of opportunities and resources available within them was far beyond what ordinary lower planes in the Myriad Worlds could provide.

These conditions allowed cultivators to reach heights that would otherwise be impossible in weaker worlds.

The Myriad Worlds beneath the Nine Great Mortal Worlds had much stricter limitations.

In those lower planes, the Tribulation Transcendence Realm was the highest cultivation realm one could normally achieve.

Anyone who successfully ascended from such a world would directly enter the Ninth Great Immortal World.

It was the weakest among the Nine Great Immortal Worlds and served as the destination for beings ascending from the lower planes.

There was also another method through which living beings could enter the Upper Realm.

If an individual surpassed the limitations imposed by the Heavenly Dao, they would be forcibly expelled from that world.

This applied not only to the Myriad Worlds but also to the Lower Realm.

Even beings who had reached extraordinary heights within the Mortal World couldn't escape this fundamental restriction.

Once their existence surpassed what their world could accommodate, the Heavenly Dao would expel them into the Upper Realm.

Tian Yongheng slowly absorbed all this information.

The more he learned, the more complicated the structure of the cosmos appeared.

Nevertheless, he didn't spend too much time contemplating these matters. He was still an ordinary mortal without even a trace of cultivation.

Thinking about the Upper Immortal Worlds or the highest realms of existence wouldn't help him in his current circumstances.

What he needed was strength, and to obtain strength, he first needed to cultivate.

The Divine Scripture of the Primordial Beginning was an exceptionally profound cultivation technique.

After all, it was personally created by the Primeval Lord of Heaven.

Its profundity was far beyond that of ordinary cultivation techniques.

Unlike conventional methods that specialized in a particular element or cultivation path, the Divine Scripture of the Primordial Beginning wasn't affiliated with any single element, but encompassed the origins of all things.

The Five Elements, Yin-Yang, and countless other fundamental forces of heaven and earth could be cultivated through its principles.

In a sense, it was the source from which countless other cultivation techniques could be derived.

It was the most ancient and powerful cultivation technique Tian Yongheng had ever known in his life, which, technically, was like a frog in a wall suddenly obtaining a neutron star.

Naturally, comprehending such a technique wasn't something an ordinary cultivator could accomplish easily.

Yet, Tian Yongheng's circumstances were anything but ordinary.

He spent an entire day and night studying the scripture without taking a single break.

Only after that did he finally grasp its basic principles and understand how to begin cultivating it.

For an ordinary cultivator, comprehending even a small portion of such an ancient technique might have required hundreds of years.

Some might not even understand a single sentence despite spending their entire lives studying it, but Tian Yongheng had managed to comprehend its basic cultivation method within barely a day.

Such was the difference brought about by his extraordinary talents and Providence.

After finishing his initial comprehension, he finally put the scripture to the back of his mind.

He rested for several hours, allowing his mind and body to recover before preparing to begin his cultivation.

The first step of cultivation was to open one's Acupoints.

To accomplish this, a person needed to temper their physical body and gradually strengthen their constitution.

At the same time, they had to enter a meditative state and sense the various energies existing throughout heaven and earth.

These energies were invisible to ordinary mortals, however, once a person developed sufficient perception, they could gradually detect and interact with them.

Through this process, they could open their Acupoints and officially step onto the Immortal Dao.

Compared to ordinary mortals, cultivators who had opened their Acupoints possessed significantly greater physical capabilities and overall vitality.

Their strength, endurance, perception, and other bodily functions would improve considerably.

For an ordinary person, reaching the Acupoint Opening Stage was already a difficult undertaking.

It normally took several years of continuous training, meditation, and accumulation before they could successfully open their first Acupoint.

However, Tian Yongheng's situation was entirely different.

His Five-Elemental Divine Spiritual Physique naturally complemented the energies of heaven and earth, and his Primordial Meridians and Primordial Bones further enhanced his ability to absorb and circulate spiritual energy.

Combined with the Divine Scripture of the Primordial Beginning, his cultivation speed was astonishing.

Barely fifteen days had passed before Tian Yongheng successfully opened his first Acupoint and officially entered the Acupoint Opening Stage.
