Crunch—Crunch—
The hemp rope extended downward toward the deep valley.
With a leap of faith, Kamiyagawa jumped off the cliff. Using the pull of the hemp rope, he spun around in mid-air and planted his feet firmly on the steep, slippery rock face.
Such a pull wouldn't cause any burden to his body at all.
With a push off the cliff face, Kamiyagawa swung away from the cliff edge, extending the hemp rope once again.
After repeating this leap several times, he would be able to reach the valley below smoothly.
It only took about three minutes for Kamiyagawa to steadily reach the midpoint of the cliff face.
"That was relatively easy."
He looked down toward the valley, able to clearly see the solid, dark ground.
Just as Kamiyagawa was about to continue downward, he suddenly sensed a peculiar aura and heard a sound from above.
Clang, clang.
It was like the sharp metallic sound of two blades rubbing against each other.
Kamiyagawa quickly looked up.
