The golden light pierced through Rod's eyelids. When he opened his eyes, he thought he was at the Holy Fire Sacrificial Ground.
But he quickly realized this wasn't the light of the Holy Fire, but sunlight.
Rod lifted his head and saw a clear blue sky, dotted with white clouds lazily drifting with the breeze. The shining sun hung obliquely in the sky, bright but not harsh.
The sound of light birdcalls reached his ears, and the scent of flowers assaulted his nostrils. This was a verdant countryside filled with a natural ambiance he had never experienced before.
"Look, Sorris, the Shining Star's Heart is glowing! It's responding to your call!"
A voice filled with surprise came to his ears, and Rod turned his head to look.
Not far away, a blonde girl tackled another girl in blue onto the grass. Above them floated a strange Crystal Ball, continuously emitting deep blue starlight.
