Travelling back in time to when the spirit of the Creator first awoke on Null's home planet, someone was waiting patiently for what was to come.
"Hmm. Hmm. It should be about time for that fool to send me my chance at freedom."
As it turned out, the Creator was in fact a pawn in the game It was playing and soon, Null was to be yet another sacrificial piece.
It was the first being to exist in the universe, born alone with powers that could change the very fabric of space.
It found itself with infinite time to experience It's abilities to their fullest but had nothing else to do aside from that.
Endlessly toiling away researching everything there was to discover about the power he deemed worthy of calling the Cosmic Authority.
With it, it was as if all that existed was under It's control.
Yet, the being that had all the cosmos had to offer had only one thing it desired: companionship.
Over the eons spent practicing with the Cosmic Authority, It managed to extract his emotions and tie them to specific energies that It then molded into pseudo lifeforms.
At first, It was enthralled by his creations as they had personalities and quirks, It had fun for the first time in It's existence.
There was Excitement, Joy, Rage, Cherish, and Fear to name a few.
It laughed, cried, and even loved in a short span of It's long lifespan with the beings he created.
But eventually, It grew bored of them and trapped them inside It's mind where they remained forever.
This stint of interacting with his emotions only fueled his passion for a real connection with other life.
It spent more of It's time pondering the travel to somewhere else where others existed; It wanted to travel to another plane.
Having those thoughts, It began practicing the ability to manipulate space in a way that broke through the confines of It's current position.
It knew that it was only a matter of time before life appeared on the planets that existed around It, but It was too impatient.
Instead, it separated a trace of It's energy on a lone planet before attempting It's first attempt at interplanar travel.
It was confident in It's space travel as It could teleport wherever it pleased, but the navigation to another plane still proved to be a challenge.
But with all the time in the world, It eventually managed to glean the way to proper extraplanar travel via It's inner core.
To begin with, It was born in the center of the universe where the concentration of all the universe's energies converged into each other, providing a rich location full of ambient power.
When being conceived, It was manifested into reality by an unknown force which granted It a body that could contain both the stars and the void.
With It's innate properties, It found it easy to contain even black holes!
This inner core that It possessed was exactly like the vortex that Null had only it fully operated under It's control.
When It willed the vortex to surround It's figure, the spatial powers that It had were amplified; it was as if It was one with the space around it.
After feeling the connection, all he had to do was separate from it.
Despite sounding easy, the process was tedious to say the least.
However, It was more than capable of doing so after the many successful feats of space travel; it only had to seep through the cracks between space to find the way to another plane.
And just like that, It was in a completely different space unlike the former plane full of planets and stars.
This place was the endless expanse of pure white nothingness.
Here, It remained separated from the other plane's cosmos— the source of It's strength— and thus was utterly trapped in a cage of It's own making.
It tried time and time again to reverse the process and in turn return to It's utopia, but alas something was interfering with the vortex within.
It could only rely on the faint connection it had to the Cosmic Authority left on that lone planet to eventually find its way back to It.
But how many centuries would have to pass before It was reunited with the lost part?
In the time It spent trapped in the Blank Plane, life grew on the planets closest to the center of the universe and the Creator was reborn with the help of the Cosmic Authority.
It was he that made the connection stronger, enough to allow It to subtly influence his actions via the shared power.
Not that It could directly control the Creator by any means, but It could tap into the power and subliminally message him every so often to lead him down a fixed path.
Unfortunately for It, the Creator was just as free as It had been when it had the Cosmic Authority and he used the power to an astonishing degree that left It somewhat surprised.
Nonetheless, the Creator was ultimately met with an untimely demise, except he was able to circumvent death by detonating his soul which It deemed the end of the journey.
This was not the case.
The Cosmic Authority was what held the Creator's existence together despite his soul being in tatters.
Over time, the bits and pieces were attracted back together as particles brought together formed an entire planet.
This planet was fruitful in that life flourished in an unexpecting part of the universe.
Part of the Creator's soul was connected to the planet's core and the other part lived on the surface, transitioning from life to life outside of the normal system that souls went through.
Eventually, that life lived on as a human boy that was perfectly conceived at the same time the rest of the Creator's soul was gathered.
It knew of this change as the connection to the Cosmic Authority never broke— it only grew silent for a period of time— and It could still barely understand the circumstances of the two incomplete souls.
When the time was finally right, the underlying messages that filled the Creator's head and controlled his thoughts grew thanks to the fact that his soul was separated.
With only one goal in mind, the Creator sought Null to appease the hidden desire laced into his very being.
How could he know that when he awoke, Null's powers would trigger, causing the milky white aura to connect to the hidden being in the Blank Plane and allow him to reap a soul.
Null accomplished beating the remnant will of the Creator which had freed his mind and revealed to him that there was a force manipulating him beyond the realm of his existence.
He chose not to disclose this matter to Null as he was not even sure of it himself but instead chose to fuse together the missing piece of his soul only to fade away into the background.
All the while, It had met with an unexpected issue in the form of a very confused girl with no powers to speak of.
