Checking the surrounding area, Shin walks out the aftermath of the one-sided massacre. Examining the bodies before they disperse, Shin, who has no knowledge of swordsmanship nor could he differ a newbie from a professional, was able to know that the cuts were the works of someone who is close to master, but not quite there yet.
"They all have clean straight cuts, almost like a knife getting done cutting tofu. Amazing, could that person be part of one of the three big-name families? Hm, oh well, at least they didn't cut me, thankfully."
The bodies now fully gone, Shin felt no eyes watching him, however, he still has an unpleasant feeling about the cemetery.
Looking around, Shin couldn't identify the source of his worries. "If I can't see the source then what about hearing it?"
Shin shut his eyes and focus listening to the surroundings area.
As Shin concentrated, he started hearing a low-tone noise. Focusing solely on that noise Shin was able to pinpoint its direction, from inside the temple he was previously in.
Walking toward the temple with his staff ready, Shin approached the entrance while still listening in. Shin was able to understand the voice a bit better, it sounded like a chant. A chant that Shin has no knowledge regarding its usage or effect.
Standing in front of the temple entrance after quietly approaching the building, Shin peered inside and notice the figure from earlier. "So you're the one causing those noises, I can't let you run off again." Shin tenses up before sliding the door open and charging at the mysterious chanter.
The chanter, surprised by Shin's entrance, was about to get up and attack but was unfortunately incapacitated as Shin swing his staff hitting the figure by the feet, stumbling the figure to the ground. As it tries to get back with both its hand pressing itself upwards, Shin took the opportunity to aim for the curse head, managing to successfully strike it.
The figure, still alive but barely conscious, let out a scream of some chant before finally it went unconscious from the pain and blunt force.
Seeing the body remain motionless, Shin examined the figure. The curse had no discernible facial features besides a wide mouth that reaches both end of its head, it's body is frail like, and in one of its hand it was carrying a wooden marble bracelet.
"What a weird curse, well actually they all look weird, but still this one is the weirdest of one yet."
As Shin continues examine the curse while poking it with his staff, Shin felt movements outside, lots of movement.
Looking out, Shin saw over 30 curses, all of which were lower than grade 3, idling and focusing on the building.
"That's too many, this isn't something I can just fight through. Why did they all just appear and why are they focusing solely on this building? Wait, that scream before I knocked it out, did it call for help? You little fucker."
Out of anger, Shin beat and bludgeoned the unconscious curse to death. Immediately, when the curse was exorcised all of the outside curses started getting agitated and loud.
Shin hearing their commotion looked around to see if he could escape this predicament. "Running out is a no, I'll die die. Waiting cooped up in here will not go so well as they'll just charge in and kill me. Fuck! What other option do I have?!"
Shin, getting more frustrated and hopeless, as the commotion intensify as the seconds passes looked up and an idea came to mind.
"If I wait at the top of the temple before they barged in, I could jump far enough to gain distance before running away. It's risky but I don't see any other choice that's better."
Smashing the roof, Shin jumped up into the attic like space above of the shrine and waited for the moment. After 10 minutes, the curses intensified as their screams and roars were reflected of their anger all charge towards the shrine. Shin could hear the walls being Brocken into and the masses coming in close. Looking down at the hole he made, he notice 12 curses have made their way inside and are looking for him. Suddenly, one looked upward to the hole in the roof and noticed Shin before it yelled out while pointing to him. Seeing this, Shin knew it was time and broke through the roof and walls to jump out, just as planned, a good distance away from the shrine. Now outside, Shin looked back and notice all of the curses have stop and looked towards his direction before they all charged at him. Seeing this, Shin ran towards the exit of the cemetery with all his might. Thanks to the Heavenly Reatriction, he was able to put a lot of weight in his legs to get away far enough from the masses.
After 10 minutes of running, Shin looked back and notice that the Curses gave up on their chase. Tired and hungry, he regain his composure before looking around to see if it was safe and clear.
"This is too much for me to handle, I'll have to tell Mr. Sejin that I was unsuccessful and he should hire a grade 2 sorcerer to deal with the cemetery problem."
Sitting down while leaning on a tree, Shin's exhaustion caught up to him as his eyes felt heavy before finally he closed them.
Waking up, Shin noticed he has slept through the night peacefully. Walking back, he was hoping the curses will be gone and the shrine is destroy but to his surprise the shrine is fixed and there was Mr.Sejin waiting for him with a smile upon noticing him.
Shin approaching Mr.Sejin, "Morning, Mr.Sejin, so um, about the request. I am not yet qualify to handle this problem, I'm sorry, but your going to have to request a refund sorcerer who is."
Mr.Sejin upon hearing bad news had a saddened look before putting arm on Shin shoulder and comforting him. "Don't worry about it, you can't solve everything. Thank you for trying."
The two converse on the ride back to a familiar road leading back home, as they both say there farewell Shin walks through the city. The smell of city life brings him comfort while the sight of people paying him no mind made him feel human.
Passing through the gate of the Zenin clan HQ, Shin swiftly made his way to his room to avoid any nuisances. Upon opening his slide door, he was taken aback by the influx of request forms that he hadn't even see before fill his room.
"So they're planning to throw all lower paying requests to me instead of the trash now, works for me. They're just saving me time and effort to go get them from the request room."
Shifting through the endless wave of forms to find his bed, Shin lays down and rested. As he does so Shin started noticing a change that occur. He could now feel the presence of people around him in a 5 feet diameter by using their weight, steps, and sound.
Sitting up upon realizing this, "Did my senses get sharper due to the requests I've done?" Laying back down, Shin stare at the mountain of requests.
"I don't want to be part of the clan security force no more, doing requests is much more beneficial." Getting up, Shin made his way to the Kukuru training room, there he saw Nobuski, training by himself.
Walking towards Nobuski, Shin was suddenly punch in the gut, hard enough for him to fall on his knees holding his stomach while grasping for air. Looking up, Shin notice that Nobuski was not too pleased with him.
Nobuski looked down at Shin with fury, "You dog! You thought going on some little requests gives you the right to skip out on Kukuru?! I'll make sure to reeducate you thoroughly this time, now get up so I can start your discipline!"
Shin upon hearing those words got up, steadily, and before Nobuski could even do anything else, Shin hold out one of his hand to suggest Bobuski to stop in his tracks.
Seeing this, Nobuski stop and when Shin saw that he loudly proclaimed. "I'm leaving the Kukuru unit and this clan!" Shin thought he had what it takes to endure this hell but after experiencing kindness and loved from those he only knew for a day was enough to finally break him.
Nobuski gets even angrier upon hearing, "You want to leave the clan do ya, fine then, let me help you get started."Nobuski then grabs Shin by his hair and pulled him to his room where he than threw him in and shut the slide door.
As Shin lay on the paper filled floor, he sat back up before finally preparing to leave an idea cross his mind, the Zenin clans cursed warehouse. "If I'm going to leave anyway, I should at least get a parting gift, shouldn't I?"
Shin waited until night when everyone was asleep he made his way to the Cursed warehouse that he stumble across when he first walk around. Approaching the doors leading inside Shin was unable to do so. "Is it locked? Dam, how else am I going to get my hands on one?Wait, what if i steal one from curse spirits. I remember seeing some high grade curses wielding weapons." Turning his focus away, Shin remembers the Curse pit.
"I should see how long I can last inside the pit this time, but if I do that won't the members come rushing if the curses starting decreasing massively? Nah, they're rich, plus the curses are mostly low grades."
Entering the pit, Shin stands in the middle with his staff ready and without warning curses came out of the rooms without notice. The more they came the more Shin exorcise over and over until he started the notification of message from his first time enduring this hell.

Shin doesn't notice it himself but his speed, power, and agility were quickly rising as the curses started dwindling in numbers until finally higher grade curses came running out after the lower grade slowed their advancement. Seeing this, Shin decided to jump out of the pit by instinct, his new physical capabilities shocked him.
Looking down the pit, what remains disgusted Shin,"Jesus, look at all those bodies. I think the sun is going to rise in 2 hours, I better grab what I have left and get out of here."
Quickly and quietly Shin return back to his room to grab what he could and made his way to the gate. While on his way out he notice meme era of the Kukuru unit running towards the direction of the pit. "Shit, I gotta get out now." Luckily, Shin manage to leave the clan unnoticed thanks to having no curse energy, practically making him an invisible man.
Now outside, Shin ran in a random direction with no plan in mind, instead he was just relieved that all of his pain and worries are no more for now. "I need to get to Jujutsu High, if I remember correctly it should take me 2 hours if I walk, so I'll just run."
With a staff and a badly condition backpack with only request forms and 4,400 yen inside, Shin ran while smiling. If a passerby were to happen to see him, they would've report to the police about a craze hobo with a smile on his face running amuck the streets.
After 1 hour and 20 minutes, Shin manage to find the entrance to Jujutsu High. Walking into the school ground, Shin was amazed by the school's massive property and outdoor decorations.
"Looking at this place with my own eyes, I still can't fathom how this school isn't seen a small community college. Now that I'm here, how do I get admitted to attend the classes? The only method I know is being recommended by either people who's already inside."
As the morning sun rises, Shin walked around mesmerizing and sightseeing the school ground. While walking on the track field, Shin took notice of the the crows that are starting to show up everywhere he went. Shin could feel their gaze focusing on him but not like that of a regular crow.
"These crows, I'm guessing Mei Mei has spotted me and is now surveying me. If that's the case, I'll sit here on the bleachers and wait to see who will come confront me."
As Shin sit and waits, more crows have started surrounding him with all of their eyes on Shin. For the next 30 minutes, the crows made very little movement while they stared down Shin.
Suddenly, all of the crows ,at the same time, flew away in different directions, and then Shin heard a voice behind him that sounded very familiar.
"Hey hey, you're not someone I've seen before, who are you?" Shin turning his attention to the source saw a middle age woman with long brown hair, wearing a lab coat, and her nonchalant air.
Standing up and turning his body to the woman,"Morning, I'm Shin Zenin and I would like to attend Jujutsu High."
The woman still have a relaxed face as she blows a smoke before responding, "Is that so? If that's the case follow me, I'll take you to go meet the principle. I can't guaranteed that you'll be accepted though, you'll need a good answer to his questions. So think of something creative, anyway, this way."
