"Otherwise, what do you want?"
Travis Miller's nonchalant retort left Salma Lula momentarily stunned. She opened her mouth but didn't know what to say.
Someone nearby quickly tidied up the unsightly hospital room.
Nat Crawford brought in lunch once again from outside.
Travis Miller stood by the bed, watching Nat Crawford place the lunch in front of Salma Lula again.
"Eat it."
Salma Lula bit her lip, eyes red, without moving.
Travis Miller looked at her heavily, "I don't have much patience; either you never eat again, or I'll have the doctor amputate your legs and fit you with prosthetics so you can quickly go to the bathroom yourself."
Salma Lula seemed scared, her eyes trembled, and she finally picked up the chopsticks.
Nat Crawford breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Salma Lula eat a bite of rice.
"Have you eaten?"
