As the words left her mouth, Abigail Hemsworth herself found them laughable yet sad.
It was indeed something worth celebrating.
Travis Miller's dark eyes fixed on her, "He does have something very important."
Abigail's eyebrows moved slightly, and her heart suddenly contracted.
"Does it matter more than me going missing or dying out there?"
Travis's brow descended with heavy gloom, "You won't go missing or die out there. Don't fixate on things that are impossible and nitpick with me. You always have a point when you say things like this."
Abigail curled her lips sarcastically, "Now it seems like I'm being unreasonable, and you're the one making sense."
Travis stared at her for a while before finally leaning forward to sit beside her, his long fingers hooking her chin, intentionally slowing his voice.
