May 1st means a week off, and considering Gale Summer is pregnant, Ricky Lewis didn't dare to take her to crowded places. So, they went back to Bay City to spend the holiday with her family.
Back in Bay City, Gale Summer moved straight back into the Summer Family residence. But before she could even warm her seat, she was summoned over to the Thompson Manor by a phone call from the Old Madam Sophia Wilson.
"Gale, you're back from Washington; why haven't you come to see your Grandmother?" Sophia's voice came from the phone.
"Grandmother, I just got home," Gale hurriedly explained.
"You've been home for a while and still haven't come over? We are waiting for you to join us for lunch." Sophia commanded without allowing any excuses: "Hurry over, don't just stay at your mother's house."
