After divorcing Romney Queens, Gale Summer never thought she would have to meet with the Queens family again.
Following Ricky Lewis in Washington for over two months, she gradually almost forgot that she once had a marriage and used to have numerous ties with the Queens family.
As for Romney, she had fiercely kicked him once, only knowing she had injured him, but as for the extent of his injuries, she neither asked nor did she want to inquire.
In those two months in Washington, she would often talk on the phone with her mother, and occasionally with her eldest cousin-in-law Anna Ainsworth, but neither her mother nor Anna ever brought up Romney in front of her, let alone the Queens family.
So, when she and Ricky Lewis encountered Mrs. Queens and Kezia Reed shopping in Coastal City, she was visibly stunned for a moment and took some time to come to her senses.
