Chapter 192 - God Killing Slash

Reaver wasn't frightened by Bian's ruthless strike, but actually smiled instead.

What was the sturdiest part of a Shura? Naturally, it was their horns. It wouldn't be wrong to say their horns were more durable than some metals.

Sadly, the horns were attached to their heads so they couldn't use them to attack or defend, that would just be courting death!

Who would have thought Bian would willingly strike at his head, giving Reaver the chance to block the attack with his horn and sever his opponent's spine rendering him immobile.

He was still riding the momentum of Shura Change. There was no way Bian could survive an attack from him in this state.

Reaver seemed to have seen the future as his hand holding the blade zoomed to Bian's waist while his head tilted, causing the attack to land on his horn.

Ping!

There was a flash of red light and Reaver's horn was cut off unequaly.

A piercing pain traveled through his body, causing his attack to falter before it could strike Bian.

With frightening force, Bian was struck in the waist and flung away.

Reaver had blood flowing from his head and impeding his vision. His hand was constantly shaking, as though he had struck a pile of metal.

Looking up, he saw that at one point or the other, Bian had summoned a silver armor.

'Beast Soul!'

He gritted his teeth in anger.

Not only had he lost his horn, his opponent was still in one piece because of a beast soul.

Bian, on the other hand, clutched his waist and winced slightly in pain.

The Sacred Silver-Plated Armor he had on wasn't a regular sacred-blood armor, but was gotten through the fusion of various beast souls.

Even beast souls of the same level had different degrees of operation.

Bian had used both daggers and swords of the same rank before. One was quicker while the other had a longer reach.

Normally a beast soul tended to one quality or the other, but Bian's beast soul formed from a bunch of fusions had more than one function.

The arms were spiked with daggers and there were plates in certain parts of the armor.

Those parts were abnormally strong even for sacred-blood armor, but areas without plates like the waist were slightly weaker.

'Somehow, this is the second person to aim at the waist and cause me injury.'

Bian had to summon the Silver-Plated Armor when he saw Reaver's strike using Shura Change.

That attack actually spurred up the spirit pillar, causing him to be extremely alert.

A circular drone entered the range of the Dongxuan Sutra.

It seemed to be some sort of recording device and it intended to capture the fight between Bian and Reaver.

Bian ran the Dongxuan Sutra to obscure his figure and at the same time raised his blade to defend against Reaver.

Bang!

He couldn't handle the blows which he casually deflected and his guard was broken in an instant.

Reaver was now a three-meter tall monster. After breaking his guard, he actually wanted to grab Bian's head.

Bian, who was much smaller, was much more nimble, even though Reaver was purely faster than him.

His practice with Heavenly Go and the Dongxuan Movement hadn't been forgotten either.

He narrowly avoided Reaver's grab and jumped to his face level.

Using his special kick, Seven Sonic Destruction would have been quite effective right now, but there was no medium in space and thus no sonic barriers to break.

Bian could only strike out with a roundhouse kick to the face.

The attack landed but Reaver didn't move an inch, instead his bloodied eyes seemed to burn as he stared at Bian.

Bian used the seven twists to hurriedly retreat away from Reaver, forcefully suppressing the spirit pillar.

Reaver stood still, muttering something under his breath. A blue light flickered in front of his eyes.

Then one of the drones actually approached Bian and released a red light, trying to scan him.

Bian didn't know what it was doing, but he summoned the Altering Brush and wrote the word 'obscure' in his front.

Actually, this was one of the many solutions he came up with even while fighting Reaver.

A 2x2 meter square of space in front of Bian suddenly became blurry and distorted the red light from the drone.

'It worked, I can even section out a portion of empty space and alter its characteristics.'

The drone went around the square and Bian was saddened to realize he couldn't move this stationary obscured square.

He directly released a sword beam and crashed into the drone.

...

"Then I'll do just that."

Reaver finished his call at this time. His opponent must have done something to conceal himself, preventing the surveillance of the area from viewing him directly.

That didn't matter anymore though because he just received permission to kill.

He was worried that if they couldn't see the corpse of Bian or the surveillance couldn't record his death properly, then his claim of slaying the intruder would be false and they would just carry on with his execution.

His worries seemed to be for naught, as the Madam was well aware of how destructive he was.

"This fight can no longer entertain me, prepare to meet your ancestors."

Bian couldn't handle a strike from him, his attacks couldn't even move Reaver.

Logically, the fight should be over but Bian's exquisite movements prevented Reaver from killing him neatly.

"If you're using your final move, then I won't hold back either!" Bian responded to his opponent.

Even if Reaver hadn't said anything, Bian himself knew he was running out of time.

If Reaver were to run, it could cause a huge headache but now that he wanted to finish their battle in one attack, it was the perfect chance to finish him off.

Reaver wiped the blood off his forehead and smeared it on his weapon.

The weapon soaked in the blood, turned slightly red and pulsated with his heartbeat.

"True Form Divine Penance!"

Already in his shura change, his arm muscles seemed to swell even more and a vague ancient figure could be seen behind him.

The attack locked onto Bian, giving him no chance to escape.

'Falsified-Sky Sutra!' Bian cried out in his mind, not noticing that although the effect was similar to the Falsified-Sky Sutra, it wasn't genuine at all.

Feeling the threat of death, Bian's spirit pillar came to life, activating his body and soul pillar, but he actually stopped it.

Instead of retreating, Bian advanced, brandishing the Edge of Ruin.

The mystical hum of the Empirical Will flowed into his ears as Bian struck out.

Yin-Yang energy, sword intent, sword beam and CRITICAL ATTACK!

...

On the planet, a bell rang and the three moons in the sky aligned with each other.

Suddenly there was a cry of surprise among the crowd.

Out there in outer space, a red flash appeared for a brief second and the denizens of the planet couldn't believe their eyes.

There was a terrorist in outer space attacking their planet so most people had taken shelter underground, watching from the screens in the bunker.

They couldn't see the figures who were fighting since those drones had been destroyed but from the other surveillance drones they witnessed a mind-boggling scene.

After the red flash passed, two moons split apart slowly in outer space.

They were both cut down the middle!

The two halves of each moon slowly drifted apart.

...

As Reaver stood silently, his blade which was forged from some of the hardest material in the universe split in half.

The moon beneath his feet split apart dragging both halves of his body away, which then collapsed into the crevice.

"Sharp enough to sever the divine, the God Killing Slash!"

Bian turned around and moved to the Black Cruiser, while the Solum Mirror flew to the split corpse of Reaver and absorbed his soul.

Silver Solum Mirror

[Retaliation: 0/300]

[Soul Capacity: 15/300]

Before boarding the Black Cruiser, Bian tried to apply his new understanding of the Altering Brush.

He envisioned a portion of empty space connecting the Black Cruiser to the Bunker, then he wrote the word "solid" on literally nothing.

"It worked!"

Bian smiled as he could feel the object which wasn't even supposed to exist.

The ink in the Altering Brush reduced at a pace visible to the naked eye. With a glance, Bian knew he couldn't maintain it for up to a week.

Seeing that it was acceptable, Bian decided to leave before those other Shura returned.

This time as the Black Cruiser moved forward, the structure behind followed it smoothly.

Although he couldn't go too fast because of the humans inside, with both of their stealth combined, the Shura wouldn't be able to find them unless they could see them with their own two eyes.

But all the observatory drones had already been destroyed by the Black Cruiser.

Bian set it to auto-pilot and entered the structure behind.
