Chapter 9 - Chapter 9: The Three Evilteers!

BOOM!

The child with the baseball bat smashed his gold-coated bludgeon into the floor, creating another shockwave.

"That attack," Sirius thought as he floated above the ground. "It seems his bat can send shockwaves through whatever it touches. So, all I have to do," he said, leaping into the air, "is be on a different surface when it's traveling towards me."

Swiftly jumping off the ground as the large bubble from the shockwave approached his feet, Sirius watched as a kid beside him accidentally touched it.

BOOM!

The shockwave exploded, sending the kid flying out of the bus.

"Brian!" a little girl cried, watching her friend soar through the air.

"Heh, that kid always has the worst luck! But this is a villain bus; we don't stop for anyone!" the bus driver roared.

"Not bad," the kid with the bat said. "But let's see how you handle this!"

PING! PING! PING!

This time, the kid sent three shockwaves in a row. Hopping from one foot to the other, Sirius narrowly avoided the blasts.

"How long are we going to play hopscotch here?" he gloated, easily dodging the attacks.

"How about we play a different game?" Sirius heard from above.

The two twins were running across the ceiling, each with a weapon in their hands: one with a giant rock, the other with a giant pair of scissors.

"Outnumbering the opponent and forcing me into a corner," Sirius mused, clenching his fists. "It seems there are some villains in this world who know the rules."

Sirius spread his hands, preparing to attack the two opponents descending from the ceiling.

"How will I attack?" he thought as they charged at him. "I still haven't had time to understand these powers!"

BOOM!

Sirius looked left and right to find the two opponents had been stopped in their tracks.

"A true villain doesn't cause chaos during a bus ride," a silver-haired boy said, standing in front of the rock-wielding twin.

"Yeah! If you want to get to him, you've gotta get through us!" a pink-haired girl cried out.

"Nottingham, Se-oh," the kid with the baseball bat sneered. "You're going to protect this newcomer?"

"Yeah! Got a problem with that, Jackie?" the girl yelled.

"You're either with us or against us!" Jackie said, winding up his bat.

"Then I guess that makes us against," Nottingham replied.

"Alright then," Sirius said, taking center stage.

"Let's get this party st--"

"Oh, shit!"

"Oooo, you said a bad word!"

"Driver, what the--"

EEEEEERRRRRR!

Spinning the bus in a donut, the bus driver swerved around as he drifted toward a parking spot next to the school they were approaching.

"I think I'm gonna be sick!" Se-oh said, clutching her stomach.

"Heh, this is nothing for a villain like m--"

EEEERRRR!

SPLAT!

As the bus driver hit the brakes, all six fighting children went flying down the corridor, face-planting into the windshield.

"Oh shoot! Hit some bugs!" the driver said to the other seated children. "Let's wipe 'em off!"

Turning on his windshield wipers, the bus driver wiped Sirius and his friends off the glass and out of the bus, slamming them onto the ground.

"We've reached our stop! The Villain Academy, McDoggins High!"

"McDoggins, what?!" Sirius groaned as he tried to get the other five students off his back.

As he looked up at the school through the sweaty armpits of the boys piled on top of him, he saw something unimaginably horrible. The first thing he saw was the notable McDiggins logo perched on top of the school building. Students were everywhere: with McDiggins backpacks, uniforms, and even... tattoos?

"Narrator!" Sirius groaned.

"Okay, there was only one student with an MC tattoo, but it was still a sight to see!" the Narrator said.

As Sirius rose to his feet, he saw something that pushed him over the edge. Grinding his teeth, he came face-to-face with a statue of the man who had betrayed him: McDiggins. The fat belleyed minister stood over the school grounds with the image of an ice cream cone in his right hand but in his left…. Sirius saw a bowl of what appeared to be milk. The statue seemed to be looking directly at its viewers taunting them

(Sirius remembered)

As the man looked, standing on the tip of his toes to examine the bowl, he saw nothing more than a bowl of milk and an ice cube in it.

"Well, speak up! What is it that you see here!" Sirius said.

"Oh no…" The man said.

"Oh yes! Now tell me what is in this bowl which my servant obtained under your supervision!" Sirius screamed.

"It appears to be… " The man said regrettably as he fumbled his fingers together nervously. "An attempt at a bowl of ice cream… " The man said.

(Back to present)

"THAT BASTARD!" Sirius growled.

He blasted the statue with rays of light, but to no avail; the statue only shined more brightly.

"I know, isn't he the best?" Se-oh said cheerfully. "Without him, we wouldn't have this school!"

"WHAT?!" Sirius growled. "Who exactly is McDiggins in this world?"

"He's the most evil man in the entire world!" Se-oh cheered. "He and the McDiggins Corporation are the biggest empire in the world."

"Is he still alive?" Sirius asked. "How long has he been the most evil?"

"Of course he's alive!" Se-oh cheered. "He has been number one for the last ten years!"

"Ten... years..." Sirius choked out, falling to his knees in shame as he realized what had happened.

"I am currently ten years old, which means... the McDiggins from my world must have existed up until my birth. He must have taken over the world while I was a child, with the help of Crucis. I can't believe it... he went from a measly henchman to the ruler of all evil, a title I once had. He must have gained new powers as well. How could this happen?"

Sirius fell to the ground in anger, inconsolable with the turn of events.

"I don't like him either," Nottingham said, consoling Sirius.

"You? What do you know of evil?" Sirius cried.

"My family, the family of Polaris, has not forgotten the old ways of villainy," Nottingham said.

"Polaris!" Sirius thought. "My minister who died protecting me in my previous life... he is alive in this one! Then maybe there's a chance!"

"Tell me, boy! Where is your father?" Sirius demanded.

"I… don't know," Nottingham replied sadly, turning away from Sirius to look at a family photo he carried. "He said I could only seek him out once I became a true villain; meeting him before then would only put me in danger."

"I see," Sirius said, nodding thoughtfully. "So your dream is to become a true villain?"

"Yes," Nottingham confirmed. "I don't just want to destroy things or profit. I want to build an empire to be feared and make protagonist characters flee at the mention of my name! Not have them all eating my burgers!" He shook his head disdainfully at the thought of McDiggins.

"This boy," Sirius thought. "There is hope for this universe after all."

"Will you help me achieve my dream then?" Sirius asked the boy.

"And what would that be?"

"To go to Ice Cream Land-- I mean," Sirius stuttered, hastily putting away a pamphlet he'd been holding, "to become the most evil man in the world!"

"That I can do," Nottingham said, bowing.

"And what about you, pink-haired girl? You've been so quiet. What do you have to say?"

"Uh, I don't really care about all that, to be honest. Hero, villain, it makes no difference to me," Se-oh admitted.

"Then why are you here?" both boys asked.

"Because the Hero Academy made me share my snacks! What's up with that? I want to have the most snacks in the world! Who's with me?" Se-oh exclaimed, taking out slices of cake.

"We are!" the boys exclaimed, digging into their slices with glee.

Meanwhile, in the distance, a man sneezed. A blonde man with blue eyes held a tissue as he looked on at the three students.

"Why does that new student seem so familiar?" he wondered aloud, blowing his nose.

"Principal Arthur!" his assistant, Madeline, called as she walked into the room, dressed as a maid. "Here's the fresh box of tissues you asked for."

"It's so strange," Arthur mused. "This new student appears, and on the same day, my nose won't stop running. I always have to hold onto a box of tissues. It's like they are a part of me from a previous life or something."

"Maybe you should introduce yourself," Madeline suggested, smiling.

"No, no. Something tells me I must stay far, far away from that child, or else I might turn into a box of tissues myself," Arthur chuckled.

In the distance, Sirius cried out, "ARTHUR! MADELINE! WHAT THE HECK ARE THEY DOING HERE?"

"Narrator!" (Sirius)

What, what is it?" (Narrator)

"I thought that! I didn't say it out loud! If anyone knows I'm not from this world, McDiggins could find out and destroy me!" (Sirius)

"Good point! So what will your new disguised name be?" (Narrator)

"Sirius, of course!"(Sirius)

"What? But doesn't that defeat the point of hiding?"(Narrator)

"Why should I hide my name? Here's the plan, Narrator! Whenever I'm around him, just don't use my name,"(Sirius)

"Genius!" (Narrator)

"Let's try it out now!"(sirius)

And so, the mysterious student who was not from another world walked with his new friends to class, ready to face his next challenge.

"Excellent! Narrator!" Sirius cried

"Wait, who's the Narrator?" Nottingham and Se-oh questioned aloud, exchanging puzzled glances.

"Narrator! Learn grammar, you impudent fool!" Sirius screamed
