"If there's even half a lie in what you just said, you'll be infertile for the rest of your life!"
The man's face darkened in an instant, his narrow eyes narrowing dangerously as he bit out, "Lit-tle... ma-ni-ac!"
What was she saying? Infertile? Was she cursing him to have no descendants for the rest of his life? She must be tired of her life!
Seeing his expression, Sophie Sullivan was a little scared and shrank back. Her cowardly appearance almost instantly pleased the furious Thomas Shannon.
"If you don't swear, it means you like me."
Her timidity lasted all of three seconds before Sophie Sullivan, with renewed fierceness, said, "If you don't dare to swear, doesn't that prove you like me? If you dared to swear, and you *didn't* like me, what would you have to be afraid of?"
Don't even think about fooling her. If she couldn't sense something like attraction, she'd be unworthy of being called a woman. A woman's sixth sense is unbelievably accurate!
