Thomas Shannon frowned slightly. "Are you an idiot?"
"Thomas Shannon, you..." Sophie trailed off. Did you take the wrong medicine?
A flash of impatience crossed Thomas Shannon's eyes. "Do you want me to feed you?"
Sophie Sullivan wanted to verify a bold speculation in her heart, so she nodded.
"You feed me."
Though Thomas Shannon looked impatient, he still helped her sit up, letting her lean against him. He held the water cup to her lips. "Drink."
After drinking most of the water, Sophie shook her head. "That's enough."
He removed the cup from her lips and drained the remaining water.
So much for being a clean freak.
Sophie Sullivan seriously wondered if Thomas Shannon's clean-freak nature could just vanish at any moment.
"What are you looking at?"
Thomas Shannon put the cup on the bedside table, lay down next to her, and pulled her soft body into his embrace.
