After two days in a coma, Philip Shaw finally woke up.
The wound on his chest was severe, requiring treatment in a sterile room. People who wanted to visit him could only enter if they wore special sterile clothing.
Though Angela Summer wanted to see him, she didn't want to disturb him in this situation, so she waited outside the ward every day.
A week later, Philip Shaw was transferred from the sterile room to a regular ward.
Angela Summer opened the door and walked in to find Philip Shaw leaning against the pillow, looking at documents on an iPad. He was not yet fully recovered, his face was terribly pale, and even the fingertip touching the screen of the iPad seemed to have lost its color, appearing faintly translucent.
When Angela Summer spoke, her voice was uncontrollably hoarse: "Master, you're still recovering, don't look at the documents. You should rest well."
