Aldana Candi smiled and then shook her head, "Do you think they'll believe that? This will only bring trouble for you."
Aya Candi fell silent, walked over to sit on the bench, and said nothing.
Aldana also walked over, sat beside her, and gently held Aya's hand.
She grasped her hand tightly and asked, somewhat frustrated, "Why are you so useless? I've been in Tung City for so long, and you let me find you so easily?"
"Aya, don't be sad. This is just my fate." She had long been mentally prepared; she had nowhere to go. She couldn't leave Tung City, and no one would cover for her. Being found was only a matter of time.
"It has nothing to do with you. If not you, it would have been someone else. I'm glad you found me; it's beneficial for you, isn't it? The higher-ups will give you a few days off, right? You can take a good rest for a few days."
Her voice sounded very gentle.
She was always a gentle girl like water.
