Norris Moore lowered her head, lost in thought. After a while, she finally raised her head and looked at Eric Candi, hesitantly asking, "Wh-what if... he did it for me?"
Eric Candi frowned slightly: "You..."
"Never mind." Norris Moore shook her head. "You're worried about Ellen Candi. I'll call him and have him come over to explain everything to you. Would that work?"
Eric Candi observed her for a moment, then extended his hand toward Norris Moore: "Give me your phone."
"What are you doing..." Norris Moore hesitated briefly.
"I'll call him."
He took the phone from her hand, found the first number in the contacts, and called it.
The call was just answered when Eric Candi, before Trenton Smith could speak, quickly said, "Norris Moore is with me."
He ended the call abruptly.
