Her mother was a servant of the Loman Family. Ronald Loman's mother always treated her well. Additionally, her own mother was literate and once considered a miss from a small well-off family, but later on, the family fell on hard times. She had to start working before finishing her studies.
After she was born, although the Loman Family accepted her, her mother was still worried that her young age would inconvenience the Loman Family. So, she entrusted her to her grandmother, who would often visit her during breaks and weekends.
Around the time she was six and a half, her grandmother suddenly passed away, and her uncle's family moved abroad. There was nothing her mother could do, so she had to bring her to the Loman Family to take care of her.
