Around ten plus minutes later, Riley Sully seemed to finally regain some clarity and turned to look at the still somewhat unfamiliar surrounding area. Only then did she struggle to prop up her body, pouring herself a cup of water at the tea table and drinking it all in one go, before supporting herself on the wall to walk to the entrance hall.
At the entrance hall, the shoes were scattered everywhere, strewn all over the ground. Her key and sling bag were also lying across the floor, looking a bit disheveled.
She bent over to pick up her sling bag, then returned to the tea table, her hands trembling slightly as she pulled out a plate of white pills from the bag. She swallowed Three pills in succession, then poured herself another cup of water. Her somewhat red and swollen eyes finally cleared up a bit.
Taking her clothes, she got up and went into the bathroom, her legs weak as if walking on cotton, still trembling incessantly.
