The driver waved his hand: "I won't charge you, go see the doctor quickly."
Riley Sully weakly thanked him and placed a 100 bucks on the back seat. The car door wasn't closed properly, so the driver would certainly notice it when he closed it again.
Taking the elevator up to the 13th floor, Riley Sully almost leaned against the elevator wall the whole way. The IV drip rang with a ding-dong sound, and only then did she slowly support her body and walk out.
Inside the hospital corridor, several doctors in white coats were discussing cases. One young woman doctor happened to turn around and, upon seeing the unsteady Riley Sully, was startled at first. Then she quickly rushed up to support her.
She reached out to touch her forehead, her eyebrow immediately furrowing, "Why is it so hot? I thought I had already prescribed you some medicine."
Riley Sully could only manage a weak smile, seemingly too exhausted to say even a single word more.
