Glancing at the live broadcast of the Firestone Music Festival on TV, Charles Doyle smiled slightly.
Now it was time to arrange for the Cloud Village's Karui and Omoi to make their appearance. After all, the Hidden Cloud Village couldn't simply ignore the absence of Killer Bee from the A-B combo without reacting.
Charles took out the Space Stone from his storage and held it in his hand. His consciousness entered the system space, where he placed the C-rank ninja cards of Karui and Omoi into the battle roster.
Using the power of the Space Stone, he set the manifestation point at the Inca Temple in Peru.
…
Peru - Inca Temple -
After S.H.I.E.L.D. had paid some resources and made some deals, they gained control over a 500-meter radius around the temple.
The Inca Temple was now sealed off, and many staff members, as well as experts on Inca history, were summoned to study and decipher the temple's interior patterns.
Agent Sitwell walked into the command center, looked at the monitors in front of him, and asked a nearby agent, "Any fluctuations on the chakra detectors?"
"None," the agent replied.
Based on the archaeologists' findings, the strange patterns inside the temple seemed meaningless, with no apparent reference.
They were dismissed as mere scribbles. Despite thorough inspections, including nearly dismantling the temple, nothing ninja-related had been found.
Sitwell glanced at the temple on the monitor and asked, "Where's Barton?"
"He's outside, in a tree. There's nothing inside the temple for him to perch on."
Sitwell chuckled at the response.
At that moment, an alarm suddenly sounded from one of the devices.
"Sir, the energy detector is picking up unknown energy fluctuations," an agent immediately reported.
Sitwell quickly turned toward the agent and asked, "What about the chakra detectors?"
The agent checked and replied, "No fluctuations yet."
Inside the Inca Temple, the figures of Karui and Omoi suddenly appeared, though at first, they were mere phantoms, not fully materialized.
A nearby archaeologist noticed the sudden appearance of the figures and reached out, asking, "Who are you?"
But he grabbed nothing but air—there was no one there.
"Phantoms?"
However, within seconds, Karui and Omoi's figures fully materialized.
The moment Omoi appeared and saw the numerous people around him, he quickly formed a hand seal and shouted, "Lightning Style: Lightning Flash!"
"Ah! My eyes! I can't see!"
"Who threw the flashbang?!"
With Omoi's lightning flash, everyone inside the temple temporarily lost their vision.
Meanwhile, Omoi and Karui began assessing the sudden influx of memories in their minds. They learned that Killer Bee had been transformed into a teenager and transported to this world. Their mission was to find him.
Back in the command center, the chakra detector finally began sounding its alarm.
"Sir, the chakra detector is going off too! Chakra intensity: A-rank."
Sitwell smiled upon hearing this. He had been right—the temple did indeed contain a portal connecting the Ninja World to Earth.
He turned to the monitors, where the images of Karui and Omoi now appeared. Two fully grown ninjas—a white-haired man and a woman with dark brown skin, much like Killer Bee, holding a long sword.
At the same time, hearing the screams from inside the temple, Hawkeye (Clint Barton) immediately leaped down from his perch in the tree and rushed into the temple.
However, just as Barton entered, he was greeted by a kick from Karui.
Bang!
Karui's kick sent Barton flying into the temple wall, where he crashed and finally came to a stop.
Inside the temple, the now-blinded personnel crouched down in pain, still reeling from the effects of the lightning flash.
"Who are you?"
"Where is this place?"
"What's your purpose in bringing us here?"
Clint Barton, having crashed into the wall, felt a bit helpless. Once again, he found himself at the mercy of powerful opponents. These ninjas were clearly no pushovers.
He quickly raised his hands and said, "Wait, wait! This is a misunderstanding! We are not your enemies, Cloud Shinobi."
Karui looked at the man on the ground and asked, "You know who we are?"
In a flash, she appeared in front of Barton, drawing her long sword and placing it against his neck.
"Tell me, did you people kidnap Killer Bee?"
Feeling the cold steel against his neck, Barton swallowed nervously. He was genuinely worried that this no-nonsense kunoichi might just slice him down without hesitation, leaving no room for explanations.
"No, no, it's a misunderstanding!" Barton repeated.
"Speak!" Karui demanded.
Barton glanced around, then responded, "I'm Agent Barton from S.H.I.E.L.D. We work with ninjas from various nations in your world."
"We're not your enemies, shinobi from the Land of Lightning. And as for Killer Bee, I know who he is, but we didn't kidnap him."
At this point, Omoi, who had been silent, took two steps forward and said, "Karui, put away your sword. They aren't a threat."
"Yes," Karui responded.
With a swift motion, Karui spun the sword and sheathed it.
She then glanced at Barton, lying on the ground, and remarked, "Weakling."
Barton chuckled awkwardly.
"Sir, from what you've said, it seems you know about our Cloud Shinobi and Killer Bee," Omoi noted.
Barton shook his head, "I haven't met Killer Bee personally, but I know who he is."
At that moment, Sitwell entered the room holding a tablet.
"This should be the person you're looking for," he said.
Both Omoi and Karui turned to look at the tablet in Sitwell's hand. It was showing a live broadcast from the Firestone Music Festival, where Killer Bee was performing on stage.
Omoi and Karui exchanged a glance, and Karui nodded. The person on the screen was none other than her teacher, Killer Bee. However, the version she saw was a younger version of him, one she had never encountered before.
Still, Karui recognized him immediately. The person in the video was indeed her teacher, the perfect jinchūriki of the Eight-Tails, Killer Bee.
"Yes, that's him," she confirmed.
Meanwhile, the S.H.I.E.L.D. scientists and agents, who had been temporarily blinded, began to regain their vision and stand up.
Seeing that his team was okay, Sitwell sighed in relief and said, "I know you have a lot of questions, and we're eager to communicate with you. But this temple isn't the best place for that."
"How about we move to a better location?"
Karui glanced at Omoi. Omoi was the higher-ranked shinobi, an elite jōnin, much stronger than her as a chūnin, so he would make the decisions here.
Catching Karui's look, Omoi spoke up, "Alright, let's change locations to talk."
"And remember, don't destroy anything here."
