Chapter 699 - Chapter 699 : Do You Want To Sleep In The Guest Room?

Of course, the more expensive the wine, the better.

"Yi'an is pretty and has a good figure." Sister Yuan said, "There is no need to do anything else. As long as she sits at the bar, someone will automatically go over to chat with her and invite her to drink. The bartender will watch and will not let anyone go or add something to the wine."

"Men always have vanity when it comes to beautiful girls, and the drinks they buy Yi'an to drink are not cheap. Therefore, Yi'an's performance has always been good and she can earn a lot of commissions." Sister Yuan said, "Her performance in the bar is all top-notch ones. I really didn't expect that she would even skip meals in order to save money as soon as possible. Why is this girl so anxious? Can't she take her time?"

"I understand. Thank you for coming here. I'll ask Yue Huaiwu to take you back." Nan Jingheng said lightly.

Sister Yuan originally wanted to see Cheng Yi'an, but looking at Nan Jingheng's face, she didn't dare to say anything, and finally left with Yue Huaiwu.

"Master, the millet porridge has been simmering on the stove over low heat. It can be drink when Miss Cheng wakes up." Aunt Yang had experience and asked Cheng Yi'an to wake up in the middle of the night.

Nan Jingheng nodded and heard Aunt Yang said that the guest room was tidied up. Nan Jingheng looked at Cheng Yi'an again and said, "If she wakes up, go and call me."

After saying that, he went to the guest room.

Aunt Yang asked in surprise: "Do you want to sleep in the guest room?"

Nan Jingheng: "Of course."

He pointed to his room: "She sleeps there, why move her again."

Aunt Yang thought to herself that Miss Cheng's status in the young master's heart was really extraordinary.

Let alone sleeping in his room, she had never seen him bring a woman back before.

Aunt Yang didn't say much else, except that she slept with the door open at night and didn't dare to sleep too deeply for fear that Cheng Yi'an and wouldn't know when she would wake up.

***

In the middle of the night, Cheng Yi'an woke up and found that the surroundings were pitch black.

She sat up from the bed suddenly. This was not her school dormitory!

After leaving the Xia family, Cheng Yi'an had nowhere to return.

She was very fortunate that she was still a student and had a dormitory to live in at school.

Anyway, she rarely go back to Xia's house.

But this was obviously not her dormitory.

The bed was too big and too soft. After her eyes have adapted to the darkness, she could see the interior furnishings clearly. The furniture looked heavy and tall, full of masculine atmosphere.

Cheng Yi'an was startled and quickly got out of bed. She couldn't find any shoes, so she went barefoot.

But the movement was too big and she fainted again.

After shaking a few times, she finally managed to stand upright and walked out barefoot.

Where was this?

Cheng Yinan walked in panic. When she reached the door, she finally remembered that she seemed to have seen Nan Jingheng before she fainted.

"Miss Cheng." Aunt Yang had been afraid to sleep. When she heard the sound, she ran out and supported Cheng Yi'an.

Cheng Yi'an stepped back warily and shook off Aunt Yang's hand. "Don't be afraid, I'm not a bad person. You fainted and it was the young master who carried you back." Aunt Yang explained.

"Is it…Nan Jingheng?" Cheng Yi'an asked.

"Yes." Aunt Yang took a closer look at Cheng Yi'an and found that she was really thin.

No wonder, Doctor Shi said she was fainting from hunger.

At such a young age, she was quite pitiful.

Aunt Yang held her hand: "Don't be afraid. I made millet porridge in the kitchen and you can go to eat some first. The young master had asked a doctor to check on you before and said that you were fine, but you just didn't eat well."

Aunt Yang was not embarrassed to say bluntly that she was hungry.

"No need." Knowing that this was Nan Jingheng's home, Cheng Yi'an wanted to run away.

All the unbearable things were spread out in front of Nan Jingheng like they were being dissected. She didn't want this.

"It's too disturbing, I should leave." Cheng Yi'an said. "Where can you, a little girl, go in the middle of the night?" Aunt Yang didn't let her go and took care of herself.

She pulled Cheng Yi'an to the kitchen bar and sat down. "You see, the millet porridge is all ready-made, just for you." Aunt Yang said, serving a bowl to Cheng Yi'an, placing it in front of Cheng Yi'an, and said expectantly, "Drink it, slow down. Drink, be careful."

Aunt Yang was so kind, just like her elders.

Having never met such a kind elder in many years, Cheng Yi'an lowered her head, covered her sore eyes, and turned a few times in the bowl with a spoon.

The millet porridge was so thick that it almost turned into rice milk, and it was unusually soft and glutinous.

"It's been boiling for a long time. It's like a paste." Aunt Yang said with a smile, "Good girl, drink some quickly."

"Thank you..." Cheng Yi'an's voice became hoarse and she took a spoonful. At Aunt Yang's reminder to "be careful of burning it", she put it to her mouth, blew on it and took a sip.

The hot porridge warmed up the whole person, especially in this cold night, it was indescribable warmth.

Ever since her parents died, she had never drank something so warm like this. Especially when she was weak, who will care about her?

There was no one like her mother who would bring a bowl of hot porridge to her to eat when she was feeling uncomfortable. Tasting it again made her feel sour in her eyes and in her heart.

Cheng Yi'an sniffed, raised her head and said to Aunt Yang: "It's so late, you should go back and rest."

"Hey." Aunt Yang said so, but she didn't intend to rest. She got up and wanted to call Nan Jingheng.

Before going to bed, Nan Jingheng also specifically told her to call him if she woke up.

"By the way, don't drink too much. The doctor told you to take your time. Eating too much is not good for your stomach."

Cheng Yi'an nodded sheepishly.

She went to a bar to sell alcohol at night. In order to avoid being pestered when she went out, she simply stayed in the bar all night.

At least the bartender was watching, so nothing will happen.
