A moment later, Brandon Heath ended the call and put his phone aside.
"I've already asked someone to handle the divorce procedures, but it will still take at least half an hour."
"Alright, let's wait for you to get the Divorce Certificate, and then we can discuss other matters."
"I will do as you say, but before that, shouldn't you let me see Stacy? Otherwise, how would I know if she's safe now?"
"Of course." Diana Kinsman bent down to pick up her phone from the sofa, then opened a video App and tossed the phone to Darren Heath. "Your granddaughter is sound asleep now. Once you're done with what I've told you to do, someone will send her back."
Darren Heath took the phone and saw the sweetly sleeping little girl in the video, finally feeling relieved.
He handed the phone back to Diana Kinsman: "The person you hate is me. Come at me if you have to, but the child is innocent. I hope you'll keep your word."
