Synopsis
The world of Leofric is a place filled with conquest, swords, magic and death. A place where everyone was focused on becoming strong, rich and famous was no place for the Earthling, Solomon Oswin. Thus, after realizing his lack of talent in combat, he pursued his Earthly dream of streaming. In a place where entertainment was linear and repetitive, Solomon may have attracted more people than he could ever expect.

Chapter 1 - Tales of Valor

" What was it again? "

" Tales of Valor, was it? "

" Yeah, it was a book about some young hero who goes on adventures in a world of magic and swords."

" Hahaha! Yeah, I just started reading it recently. It was pretty good. I read like 10 chapters of it yesterday, the moment I bought it. "

A distinct voice of a young man echoed throughout a room. His voice was normal, and well-modulated. He is enthusiastic, but his enthusiasm sounds like he's having fun.

Although his voice was common and normal, if you make a million people try to figure out who he is, most of them will somehow give you the same answer.

Why? Because he's one of the biggest streamers in Earth.

Solomon.

He has his distinct neck long hair which is always tied into a ponytail. His violet eyes were droopy, making him look incredibly lazy and carefree, this doesn't remove the fact that he still looks above average though. That was probably one of the reasons why he got so popular in the first place. He has a unique face, yet he looked great.

The most important thing however was because, he did everything he wanted which felt fresh to a lot of people, rising him to the top of the leaderboard, in terms of streaming.

" Anyway, I'm a little sleepy. I'm going to end stream. Bye everyone. "

[ Are you sure you won't just read all night? I've seen a lot of dudes in novel sites pulling off all-nighters because they couldn't control themselves. xD ] Someone in the chat section teases.

" You caught me. " With an awkward smile on his face, Solomon waves one more time, before ending the stream and lying on his big bed.

He lives a comfortable life as of this moment. Furthermore, he's staying in one of the highest floors in the most expensive building in his country. He has multiple businesses that he owns thanks to the capital he got from streaming. He basically could afford a multitude of things, and almost everything he wanted in the world.

But he somehow still isn't satisfied.

What was it…

Genuine human.

When was the last time he felt like a genuine human.

He started streaming two years ago, just when he was seventeen years old. He was born without ever knowing his parents, growing up with people who treated him as their stress reliever.

No one was there to teach him, and no one liked him for things he couldn't control nor choose. They hated him because of his background.

That was until he found streaming. At first, he didn't particularly think about earning anything off of it, as it was simply just an opportunity for him to actually make friends. The appeal of finding social relationships in a place where no one knew you sounded stupid for normal people, but he was so socially deprived that he couldn't care less.

He finally gained the chance to show his personality. And the isolated kid, who didn't get to experience all the fun things in life as a kid, was now expressing all his pent-up excitement. This was one of the main reasons why he had grown so big and popular.

As the young kid who didn't have his life in his hands starts to brim in popularity and wealth, many people tried to come for him, not because of his wealth, fame, or genuine love. The people who took care of him, made it a point that they took care of him, and they should be thankful of them regardless, on how they tortured him physically and mentally. Many other people, who used to laugh at him, were now grovelling for his wealth.

How does it feel to have genuine happiness? He always wonders. The only place he could really feel genuine emotions and fun was when he's talking to absolute strangers around the globe. It's quite sad if you feel more at home with some people you haven't met before than those who call themselves your friends.

He loved doing meet and greets, doing business, giving him all the skills and happiness in terms of social life. He loved everything that he does and knew him as Solomon the streamer, yet he hates being Solomon the person.

People he knew from streaming, were more genuine than people he knew from living.

He wonders if he would get to experience having genuine emotions in his personal life, but it seemed like he wouldn't experience that not only in his personal life, but in any other place, no longer.

At least, In earth, that is.

Leofric, a world of swords and magic.

That's the name of this world.

It's a whole different world, with different people and sets of rules. A new world, filled with aspects that don't make sense in reality.

Solomon knew this world more than anyone residing there. He even knows the future of it and everything that would happen.

Why? It was the only book he read and finished.

Tales of Valor. The book he read during his childhood, as a means of escaping reality, and enjoying what kids does best.

The novel that revolved around Aelfric. It was a fantasy story about a young hero who went out for an adventure for conquest, courage and growth. It was your typical fantasy novel, but it was still something Solomon enjoyed.

He didn't expect to be suddenly put inside the book, though. As a character, he could barely even remember.

Solomon Oswin, other than having the same name as him, they didn't have many similar characteristics.

Solomon Oswin was an extra that only appeared in the start of the story. He was one of those guys who was standing in the village, while they wave goodbye to the main character.

Oswin and the main character didn't really get along, however. As their relationship was all about being better than the other.

Regardless, Solomon had become that extra now, and although it seemed like a huge burden at first, he couldn't be even happier as of this moment.

...

" Solomon! It's time to eat. "

Inside a house you typically see in medieval art, Solomon was currently inside a room, tinkering with something.

Although this place was humble compared to his place back in earth, he had everything he wanted as of this moment.

" Be there in a bit. "

He had a family in this world.

" Are you messing around with that broken thing again? "

A woman, who has the same color of hair as Solomon, was sitting at a wooden table waiting for him to sit down. She has green eyes and a kind and soft face. She looked beautiful and sweet, as he looks at Solomon in concern. This was non-other than Solomon's mom, Jean Oswin.

" We'll buy you a new one if you really want it that much. "

" No, it's fine. I fixed it after all. " Solomon replies with an excited smile on his mouth.

" Alright, come and sit down. " A man, next to the woman, signed Solomon to come closer. He didn't really have the same vibe as Jean, but it wasn't bad at all. Instead of kindness, he looked more reliable than anything. Like a firm wall, you could always rely on whenever you need to. He had brown hair, and purple eyes. He looked tough, with a scar across his left eye too, but his expression didn't make him seem scary at all.

Victor Oswin, Solomon's dad.

Just like his face, he's a strong warrior and a retired high ranking soldier. He's the current chief of this village, and is also the person responsible for raising and training the main character.

It's a lovely and humble place, that Solomon could only wish for back in Earth, even though he had every material thing in his hands.

If there's one thing he could complain about, it would be the lack of scientific advancement in this world. Thus making him unable to do what he loved doing best, streaming.

Although there's still some technology here, it wasn't as advanced when compared to Earth. If there's one thing he could blame, it would most likely be because of the presence of magic. Scientific advancements are slower, as magic could do what technology could better. There's actually something like a phone in this world.

It's also the one he was tinkering with in his bedroom.

A radio looking thing, which is called mana transmitter, and you could send messages on it, using some keyboards, and you could also use it to call someone. But since, there's no radio towers or anything of that sort in this world, the main way to communicate to others is through the use of mana. And that thing is far from efficient in terms of mana usage. Even the greatest magicians, in this world, could probably only send messages or calls to others in a radius of a single city. Any more than that and they will suffer from mana burn, a type of event where mana burns your body due to excessive use.

With that being said, the normal human would probably be able to send signals only up to a few meters before collapsing.

Well, it wasn't like Solomon is a normal human in the first place.

When he woke up in this world, something came with him, that the Solomon Oswin didn't originally have.

[ The One He Loved Best ] - Unique

A skill.

A passive skill to be more specific.

[ Grants User Infinite Mana to the thing they loved best. ]

It was quite the unreliable skill and Solomon knew that. If he loved sleeping, then might've become the most powerful yet useless being in the entirety of Leofric.

But that wasn't his hobby. Although this skill of his wouldn't let him become as strong as someone like the main character, he could do something no one else could.

With the help of the mana transmitter and this skill. He could become the only streamer in this world.
