Adam looks down at Xu Lin, who kneels before him with a smile on his face.
Never did he think Xu Lin's devotion to him would be so great. He really didn't do much to show her this much affection. It's as if she imprinted on him just because he showed her more kindness than others.
But Adam's not one to complain; the more loyal Xu Lin is, the better it is for him.
"You should leave. You must be tired after working all day," Adam says.
"I am fine, master~ I can stay for longer if you want~" Xu Lin says.
"I am fine as well. I am very pleased with your performance. You should go and rest. You have a long day tomorrow," Adam says, caressing her face gently.
Xu Lin presses her lips together and nods. She gets back to her feet, bids Adam goodnight one last time, and leaves, allowing Adam to go to sleep as well.
Adam, with a satisfied smile, goes back to bed and falls asleep.
