Whenever Clara thought of Jack, she would burn with rage. She never liked that man, but her friend fell in love with him and decided to marry him.
Clara couldn't do anything but support her friend's decision. But even though she supported her friend's decision, she was not happy with it.
And when she found out that Jack was cheating on her friend, she was not surprised. She saw it coming.
The only thing that came out good out of their marriage is Adam.
And now that Adam is here, asking for her help, she suspects it might be something to do with that asshole Jack.
"No, Jack did nothing. I am here for something else," Adam says.
"Oh, what is it then?" Clara asks.
"I decided to invest in a start-up. I have already talked to the owners of the startup and made a deal with them. I want you to represent me and my company from now on," Adam says.
Clara's eyes flash with surprise when Adam mentions acquiring a startup.
"Can you tell me more about it?" Clara asks.
