Since Adam is going to meet this woman for the very first time since his late mother's death, he feels a little hesitant.
'Maybe I should buy something before I give her a visit,' Adam thinks, and finds a nice gift store to buy some things. Wine, flowers, and a gift basket filled with sweets and snacks.
He returns to his car and makes his way towards his mother's friend's house.
Adam drives into a high-class suburb, and though his car stands out here as well, it isn't that rare.
Adam looks around, trying to locate the house he is looking for, and he finally finds it.
He stops his car in front of the house and gets out, holding the gift basket in his hand. Adam arrives before the door and rings the bell, hoping she is home.
After a few seconds, the door opens, but instead of the woman he was expecting to see, he sees a young girl, probably around his same age.
