Eizan PoV
After sparring with Vadim, I headed to my guest room. Kira was already asleep, holding our youngest cub in her arms. Lucia looked so peaceful, her little chest rising and falling steadily.
Kina was in the middle with Lucia, her lion stuffed animal held tight.
Eijiro was to the right of Kina, sleeping with his book on his chest.
I walked over and tucked them in. Kina stirred and opened her eyes. "Dada?"
I smiled. "Hey, sweetie. Go back to sleep."
She yawned and hugged her plushie. "Okay."
I kissed her forehead and walked over to the bathroom. I removed my shirt, feeling the damp coldness of the place against my skin. The palace was colder than back home, and there was no hot water prepared at this time of day. But that was fine. Training with Vadim had warmed me up, and a cold bath was good for my health.
After washing myself, I put on a robe and stepped out. The four continued to sleep peacefully.
