"The darkness? The tablet mentioned it," Rashid said, taking the tablet out.
Hyun-woo narrowed his eyes at him. "So you're the one who took it."
Rashid gulped and stepped back. "Sorry! I didn't know they belonged to a still living people."
Hyun-ah sighed. "I understand. Our people descend from those 'lights' that fought back the shadows. That darkness has always been a looming threat, even before the era that tablet dates back to. Not just over Zionia, but every world on the Genesis Tree. Unfortunately, our numbers continue to dwindle as generations pass. In a thousand years or maybe less, we might be reduced to one or none. The younger generations don't wish to continue our fight."
I frowned. I could see why. The Taeyang seemed to live in a hidden underground city in the desert. That must get rather boring after a while.
